Online Game: I Have A 100\% Drop Rate-Chapter 207: The Awakener Lord’s Reaction, The B-Rank Section of the Market [1]
The receptionist who had handled their quest slowly picked up the [Volcano Crab King Crystal], her expression becoming more serious as she examined it closely.
The faint glow of molten energy within it reflected in her crimson eyes.
"Truly fascinating..." she murmured under her breath, "Someone actually completed that quest."
And not only that... It had been done on their first attempt.
That alone meant strength, efficiency, luck. And perhaps most importantly... It meant potential.
Without wasting time, she stored the crystal into the association’s secured storage before opening a communication panel.
Her fingers moved quickly as she typed out a message.
[Hello, Awakener Lord, someone has just completed the B-Rank Quest in the Newbie District. This message is simply to inform you of that.]
All natives across the different districts of the [Awakener Kingdom] had a clear duty:
Anything noteworthy had to be reported. Anything unusual had to be shared.
Because at the top of this entire system... There was someone watching.
...
Deep within the [Awakener Kingdom], far beyond the reach of players, in the strongest region known as the [Awakener District]—
Beep!
A panel appeared in front of a man sitting lazily on a throne-like chair.
He glanced at it with a neutral expression, his eyes scanning the message briefly before letting out a quiet groan.
"Those trash finally completed that quest after so long," he muttered, his tone filled with boredom rather than surprise, "Truly, the people of this domain are weak."
His gaze shifted slightly as he leaned back, his presence alone enough to make the air around him feel heavy.
To him, this entire system... This entire kingdom... Was nothing more than a waiting room.
A place designed to produce someone strong enough to challenge him.
And yet... No one ever did.
Most players who reached this level either chose to settle down and live comfortably within the [Awakener District], enjoying the power they had gained...
Or they moved on, heading toward the [Eternal Battlefield] or other higher domains, avoiding confrontation altogether.
No one wanted to face him. Because everyone knew.
No matter how strong they became... They would lose.
"Well..." the Awakener Lord sighed as he opened another panel, this one displaying the names of those who had completed the B-Rank Quest.
His eyes scanned the list: [Celestial], [Saintess] and [UndyingPhoenix]
A faint smile appeared on his face for the first time.
"I hope you can entertain me... at least," he said slowly, his aura beginning to spread outward, distorting the space around him slightly, "because otherwise... I might just destroy everything here and move on."
...
Meanwhile...
Leon, Celeste and Emilia walked through the long hall that led toward the [Market] section of the [Awakener Association].
Their footsteps echoing lightly against the polished floor as the noise of the main hall slowly faded behind them, leaving only a quieter, more focused atmosphere around the three of them as they advanced.
Even though they had just completed one of the hardest quests available in the entire [Newbie District], none of them looked particularly exhausted.
And that was mainly because of how much they had gained from that fight. Still, Leon’s mind wasn’t idle.
As they walked, he took the time to reflect on what had just happened inside the volcano, replaying parts of the battle in his head, analyzing them with a calm and sharp focus as always.
"I think we could have killed the boss much more easily if Emilia wasn’t caught at the start," he said after a moment, his tone casual but still serious enough to carry meaning, "So maybe be a bit more careful next time."
He added a small smile at the end, making it clear that he wasn’t blaming her, but simply pointing out something important.
Hearing that, Emilia’s reaction was immediate.
"I-I did sense it..." she said, lowering her head slightly, her voice carrying a hint of frustration, "but that headache caught me off guard."
Leon glanced at her briefly, already understanding what she meant.
"I’m guessing it’s linked to your new passive, isn’t it?" he asked.
Emilia nodded right away.
"As soon as danger got close, a panel appeared in front of me," she explained, her voice becoming more steady as she described what she experienced, "and at the same time, I felt a sharp headache, like something was forcing me to pay attention."
She paused for a brief moment before continuing.
"The panel said [Danger below], and it wasn’t just that... I could feel it in my bones too, like my entire body was reacting to it."
Celeste listened quietly from the side, clearly interested.
"I guess I just need to get used to it," Emilia continued, her expression turning more determined now, "because it’s still new to me, but if I can manage to sense danger before it happens and actually react in time... then it’s going to be incredibly useful."
Leon nodded slowly as he listened. She was absolutely right.
That passive ability of hers was something even he didn’t fully understand yet, but from what he had seen, it was already proving to be extremely valuable, especially since it could detect threats that even he didn’t immediately notice.
"I think so too," Leon replied calmly, "You’ll get used to it eventually."
He paused for a brief second before adding, "And until then, we can take advantage of it together."
Hearing that, Emilia’s expression brightened almost instantly, "Thanks," she said with a genuine smile.
Celeste, who had been listening quietly, crossed her arms lightly and smirked.
"Yeah, just don’t get grabbed again next time," she teased, "I feel like the boss’ pincer would have been shattered anyway if it kept trying to kill you."
"H-Hey!" Emilia protested, her cheeks turning slightly red.
Leon let out a faint chuckle at that, but didn’t add anything else.
By the time their conversation naturally came to an end, they had already reached the entrance to the [Market] section once again.
Ding!
[Welcome back to the "Market"]
The panel appeared in front of them as they stepped inside.
Just like before, the market was filled with players moving around, some browsing items, others negotiating trades, and a few simply observing what was available, the atmosphere lively and busy as expected.
However, Leon and the others didn’t pay much attention to any of that.
Without hesitation, they walked past the lower-ranked sections, ignoring the halls designated for F-Rank, E-Rank, and even C-Rank players, as those areas didn’t hold anything of real value for them. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Instead, they headed straight toward the hall marked for B-Rank.
And just like before... It was completely empty.
Not a single player stood near its entrance, and the reason for that was obvious: no one else had access to it.
"I’m excited," Emilia said with a small smile as she looked toward the empty hall, her curiosity clearly showing, "The C-Rank items were already pretty decent, so I wonder what the B-Rank section will have."
"It should be much better," Leon replied, his eyes focused ahead, "but the main issue will be [Eternal Coins]."
He opened his panel briefly.
[Eternal Coins: 516,470]
He had a decent amount for now, but depending on the prices inside, it might not be enough.
Still... He wasn’t worried.
"I can always sell the sub-talent scrolls if needed," he added calmly.
After all, he still had quite a few valuable ones.
[Sub-Talent Scrolls: x7 Deep Flame Affinity (B-Level), x2 Absolute Flame Control (A-Level)]
Even if he sold them at a lower price than their actual value, the B-Level scrolls could easily go for around 50,000 each, and the A-Level ones could reach over 200,000 without much difficulty.
That alone meant he had a reliable source of income if things got expensive.
Celeste whistled lightly, "Yeah... we’re definitely not poor anymore," she said.
’We?’ Leon didn’t respond to that, but a faint smile appeared on his face.
And then...
The three of them stepped forward together, passing through the transparent veil that blocked access to anyone below B-Rank.
Ding!
[You have entered the B-Rank section of the "Market"]
[You have proven your strength and worth, so please enjoy the items available.]
The moment they crossed through, the atmosphere changed slightly.
The space beyond felt quieter, more refined, and somehow heavier, as if everything within this section carried more value, more importance.
"Don’t worry," he said with a small grin, "I will."
