My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon

Chapter 242: Blockbuster

Seated in a throne of gold and black, Ned called out to Elian.

[I hate to break up the chatter, but time is short Elian, what you see here is but a fraction of the might of the End. And while we have a sizable force, it is not enough. Do not worry about this place, regroup with the other legions and go.]

Though he looked majestic, Elian could sense the exhaustion hidden in the voice of his friend. While he and his wife tried to appear jolly and carefree, their preparations spoke of the opposite.

What would he have done? To spend millennia trying to fight an enemy you had no hope of defeating. With each army of the End they found over the years only drove home how outnumber they really were.

And despite the time that passed, they could only prepare in silence. Yet even in the face of death and the threat of annihilation, the Weapons of Valestra never despaired.

No. Just like he thought them, they sharpened themselves and learned.

Seeking out tactics, possibilities and getting stronger. All for this final moment.

Elian looked at his once simple friend and saw what he had now become. He was after all the Tyrant of Earth. And his best friend. Where once they joked about women and video games, they now carried the responsibility of entire universes.

"Yeah. Thanks. The you that died?"

"A puppet. I have hundreds of them," Ned answered as he stood up.

"They have come…"

Elian looked around and felt a vast amount of energy amassing in front of them.

"Who…"

"Dragonoid Weapons. I'll take care of them."

At that moment the large moon like structures around Earth opened up large compartment. And out of them spilled hundreds if not hundreds of thousands of white knights riding what looked like space age motorcycles.

These futuristic knights who wielded lances and rifles all rode towards the one's arrived. Each gigantic being looked even larger than a planet. They looked like giant metallic Wyverns.

Most would feel terrified just seeing one of these monstrosities. Yet the riders engaged them without an inch of fear.

Awestruck by the sheer scale of the battle, Elian and Bianca were frozen in shock. Only to be brought back by Woody's deafening roar.

"MY TYRANT AND ANCHOR! WE HAVE ARRIVED AT THE RENDEZVOUS POINT! PLEASE PREPARE TO JUMP!"

The large satellites, the moon-sized vessels Alpha called the "Arks", all turned and rotated. Their lower halves opened up and out came large tower like protrusions from underneath.

Like a battery charging each tower then began to thrum with power, Elian didn't know if it was only mana, electricity or a combination of both. He was only sure of one thing. out of each tip began to surge with powerful mana, that dwarfed even the earth.

The Ark's then fired their towers and began to draw, a gigantic magic circle, with Elian and the 2nd Legion as the center. Large runes like character's littering the entire image and each shone like a star as if heaven itself was opening.

"Elian, what is going on?" Bianca asked in a fluster.

From memories of Metal Elian understood the meaning of this device. But sadly Bianca did it, so he explained in a few words.

"The Weapons basically created an artificial wormhole that allows to jump through space. It can only be used a few times but would allow us to jump to where the rest of the 2nd legion resides."

Surprised, Bianca cheered in excitement, "Oh! They were able to mimic my abilities?"

"In a sense. But they can only use it once. The energy they poured into this warp jump was collected for millennia."

"How far will it be able to bring us?"

Elian tilted his head and tried to understand the flight path.

"About 30 light years I think."

Before Bianca could answer, the magic circle for the warp jump completed. Elian and Bianca felt their bodies disintegrate and felt their very essence rapidly move forward.

***

When Elian came too, he felt the skin of his body tremble from shocks and vibrations. Opening his eyes, he looked for Bianca and found her gazing at him. Relief flooded their faces and only after confirming each other's safety did, they look around.

To put it simply. It was chaos.

It looked like they were in a black colored ocean. Massive beings of metal with orange eyes threw themselves towards Bianca and Elian like feral animals.

Yet despite the ocean racing towards them, it could not come near. A white army so vast it looked like dust in the desert surrounded them. These Weapons were shaped like humans except several times larger.

The frontliners used swords, shields and spears like knights while those at the back carried staffs with gems radiating with mana. It was as if an order of silver angels descended from the heavens.

"How majestic," Bianca commented absentmindedly.

Like one single entity the 2nd legion resisted the Weapons of the End without fail. Their shields stopped every advance. White swords cut apart those that came too close. And devastating lightning bolts struck the sea unceasingly.

"2ND LEGION! I HAVE RETURNED!" Woody cried out. His body then shifted back to his gigantic form and brought his arms forward. Originally an Ironwood Treant, Woody's original form looked like a lanky stick just supersized.

But now? He looked like a armored berserker. His tall build still persisted but unlike before he was now extremely thick and rounder. He frankly looked like a obese knight.

Yet the while he looked comical, the presence he command was anything but. Standing on space the absolutely massive white and gold Weapon roared so loud it made the very space quake.

"THE TIME TO DEFEND HAS PASSED! NOW WE ATTACK!" Woody commanded with a might shout, "PREPARE TO OPEN A PATH!!"

Each individual knight in the 2nd Legion had their armor plates open up. It was reminiscent of armaments Elian used at the beginning of his journey. His most powerful weapon prior to getting crushed by Woody.

"Blockbuster?! Each person is armed with Blockbusters?" Elian gasped in surprise.

Before his shock could come down, the wizards all began to melt into dust and transformed into hurricanes. Except the colossal bodies of wind manifested chainsaws and rifle barrels.

The thousands of steel hurricanes looked small in the vastness of space but that couldn't have been farther from the truth. Like a taunt bow waiting for release, the entire 2nd Legion assumed an attack formation.

And as if an homage to him, their patriarch, they all wielded armaments he personally used in his journey. Gamma and Blooms then knelt subserviently beside Elian and Bianca.

"Tyrant, we would be honored if you gave the command," Blooms asked in reverence.

Elian could only marvel at the vast battlefield and felt his blood burned in excitement.

"ATTACK!" he shouted curtly.

At that moment all hell broke loose.

Each of the white knights, detonated their Blockbuster's unleashing a hailstorm of dense pellets. Woody's pellets far larger than any other were like small mountains.

The projectiles ripped through all the Weapons of the End like paper and torn a path forward.

Twelve hurricanes darted forward and swept up all their opposition. Like cataclysms the bodies of white wind sawed everything within their reach in half and sniped those that weren't.

Yet despite the destruction the 2nd Legion unleashed, the black sea in front of them only parted a tiny bit. The magnitude of their attack was overwhelming, but still the 2nd Legion failed to clear a path.

"No way…"

It began as a quiet murmur, yet soon, thousands of voices echoed the same sentiments. Their source? The humans who joined Elian from Earth. If earlier, they all radiated bravado now they all began to taste despair.

Elian could feel it spreading through the fleet. The silence. The unease. The creeping realization that the enemy before them was not something reason could overcome.

Unlike the Weapons who had fought this nightmare for millennia, humanity had yet to learn what it meant to battle the impossible.

Seeing the immense blockade in front, Elian was about to join the battle until he heard a planet shattering howl.

AWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Then out of a portal to their left. A gigantic wolf far larger than even Woody emerged.

"BASTION COMMANDER OF THE 1ST LEGION JOINS THE BATTLE! BEOWOLVES! RIP THEM ALL APART!"
