Chapter 1170: Chapter 1165: Watching a "Movie" Together

The towel wrapped below Evander Lancaster’s abdomen, leaving his toned chest fully exposed to the air. Not overly exaggerated pectoral muscles, evenly toned chocolate abs, and a silhouette of the Apollo’s belt that stretched down into the towel, leading further below to that intriguing area; though still lying dormant, the bulge was indisputably noteworthy.

Feeling a bit parched, Sophia Hamilton picked up a Coke, took a sip, and kept her eyes glued to the TV, appearing completely focused and unfazed.

Evander Lancaster seemed unfazed by his attire, holding a towel in one hand, drying his short hair as he walked over. After sitting down beside Sophia Hamilton, he casually tossed the towel on the coffee table and grabbed a packet of beef jerky, opening it as he asked, "Why aren’t you eating? I heard Sophie really likes it."

"Who’s Sophie?" Perhaps all females are sensitive to their own kind. Upon hearing the name Sophie, Sophia Hamilton immediately turned around.

Noticing the tension in Sophia Hamilton’s eyes, Evander Lancaster chuckled as he explained, "Sophie is my elder brother’s wife, none other than Beatrice Hargrave, the contestant with the loudest cheers from the recent talent show."

When Sophia Hamilton turned back, she pursed her lips disdainfully, took another sip of Coke, and said nothing.

"What, are you jealous?" Evander Lancaster looked at her with a smile, holding a piece of beef jerky between his slender fingers.

"Of course not. You’re not my anything, so why would I be jealous!" Sophia Hamilton said, clearly contradicting herself. Evander Lancaster placed the beef jerky back into the bag, put it on the coffee table, and, lifting her cheek with his hand, asked playfully, "Really not jealous?"

"No," Sophia Hamilton refused to admit, causing Evander Lancaster to chuckle softly, resigning with a hint of affection, "You little one, saying the opposite of what you mean."

Facing Evander Lancaster so closely, Sophia Hamilton could clearly see the contours of his chest muscles and the heat from his water-damp skin, seemingly wanting to press against her chest. Her face flushed as her heartbeat quickened subconsciously. Wishing to hide her embarrassment from him, Sophia Hamilton turned her head, avoiding Evander Lancaster’s fingers, and feigned impatience, "I thought you said we could watch movies at home too. Do you have a cinema here?"

"No cinema, but the TV works just as well," Evander Lancaster said, eyes mischievously sparkling, but Sophia Hamilton was too fixated on the TV to notice.

For prey almost at hand, Evander Lancaster didn’t seem in a hurry, deliberately shifting his body with one hand on the sofa’s backrest and the other on the coffee table in front of him.

This posture effectively boxed Sophia Hamilton into the sofa, leaning in slightly, and teasingly asked, "Why, are you anxious?" 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Though it seemed like an ordinary question, Sophia Hamilton couldn’t help but catch an undertone of ambiguity.

Taking another sip of Coke, she tried to appear calm as she said to the TV, "Nonsense, hurry up and play it so I can go home after watching!"

Evander Lancaster’s lips curled casually upward, and he raised his eyebrows discreetly, "Alright, I’ll go get it."

He finished speaking and went into the bedroom. Shortly after, he returned with a laptop, sat on the tiled floor, connected it to the TV, tapped on the keyboard briefly with his slender fingers, and then returned to the sofa, wrapping an arm around Sophia Hamilton’s shoulder.

Seeing English letters appear on the TV, Sophia Hamilton pouted unsatisfactorily, "Didn’t you say no American blockbusters? Why are you playing it?"

"Relax, it’s European and has no violent scenes," Evander Lancaster responded, visibly excited while watching the show.

"Still the same!" Sophia Hamilton complained unhappily. But as the opening scene unfolded, she forgot to drink her Coke, her mouth slightly agape, eyes widened in shock as she stared at the TV. Upon realizing they were unclothed, Sophia Hamilton immediately knew what kind of film she was watching. Yet despite not wanting to watch, her eyes seemed glued to the screen, unable to look away.

Beside her, Evander Lancaster turned his handsome face to observe her reaction. Seeing her astonished expression, his eyes gleamed with undisguised smugness.

When Sophia Hamilton saw the male lead’s prominent physique on the TV, she quickly averted her gaze, stuffing her mouth with popcorn. However, feeling awkward again, she put down the Coke, muttered to herself, "I’m going home, watch it yourself," as she began to rise.

"Come back, little one, where are you going?" Just as Sophia Hamilton got up, Evander Lancaster pulled her back into his embrace with a gritted low curse.

After planning for several days, how could he let her escape so easily?

"I want to go home," faced with Evander Lancaster’s deep-set eyes, Sophia Hamilton felt wronged and pouted.

"Now, now, don’t be shy. It’s just the two of us; no one else will see..." Evander Lancaster lifted a thumb to her lips, gently caressing. Because of the earlier tugging, the towel wrapped around his waist had already slipped open. As of now, Sophia Hamilton was sitting on his lap, thus avoiding seeing what she shouldn’t, but still feeling compelled to leave, not wishing to stay any longer.

"Please, let me go home," the anxious feeling in her heart wasn’t purely from shyness, but also due to the unfamiliar emotions brewing in the man’s eyes before her.

Like ink-stained black, brewing with storms, it was a sense that she could be swept in and unable to escape with just a single misstep. It frightened her.

"Don’t worry, stay with me until it’s over, okay?" Evander Lancaster’s lips moved close to Sophia Hamilton’s ear, gently kissing, making her even more anxious.

She was completely enveloped in Evander Lancaster’s embrace, shoulders hunched, wearing a miserable face. Feeling like crying yet unable to shed tears, wishing to flee, her situation seemed even more hopeless.

Evander’s warm lips and tongue roved around her ear and neck, tenderly, seemingly with skill. His large fingers tilted Sophia Hamilton’s chin towards the TV, coercing her to watch the scenes playing out.

Separated by just a screen, the actions of the two men almost synchronized; whatever the on-screen man did, Evander Lancaster mirrored. However, he went a step further than the movie lead. Not only did he act, but he also used words to enchant.
