Chapter 769: Brutality [GT Ranking Bonus Chapter]

"Brother Asher, who are these three ugly people?"

As these words left Rachael’s lips, Hilton, Maximus, and Hilton’s lapdog were stunned. They were both Nobles; they were anything but ugly.

Hilton’s lapdog, named David, immediately acted without wasting a single moment. To him, this was simply crossing the line, so he moved to teach Asher and the girl on his shoulder a lesson.

He blurred forward, his hand streaking toward Rachael’s left cheek as he aimed to slap her, regardless of her age. But before his hand could even connect with Rachael’s face, David felt a titanic force slam into his own jaw. Like a bullet, his body shot sideways, crashing into tables and drinks that had been arranged by maids and butlers for the gala.

Plates clattered to the ground and shattered, food and drinks spilled over David, before his body slammed into the wall behind him. The moment he hit the wall, his body jolted in pain. But it wasn’t only that; his entire head seemed to scream in agony as his jaw had been dislocated.

He couldn’t even follow the attack. He hadn’t sensed it, all he felt was the impact.

At this point, the noise of things being destroyed had already drawn everyone’s attention.

Before David could even blink, Asher was already upon him. If David had attacked him, Asher might have simply ended it with a single attack, but the fool had crossed the line by attacking Rachael.

Asher immediately grabbed him by the face. With Rachael still sitting on his shoulder, Asher pulled him forward and then slammed David’s skull into the wall with immense force. Enough force to feel pain, enough force to scream, enough force to crack the skull, but not enough to kill.

"AAAHHHHHH!!!"

David immediately screamed at the top of his lungs, but Asher simply struck his throat with his knuckles, immediately erasing every sound. Without delay, Asher pulled him forward again and slammed him into the wall with even greater intensity this time.

David felt his brain rattle. He felt as though his consciousness was about to flicker out. His eyes were filled with fear as he stared into Asher’s purple ones.

And it was at this point that he knew; he fucked up.

Asher held his jaw, locking David’s head in his left hand, then with his right hand, he began pulling out each of David’s teeth one by one, his motions slow and deliberate as though he had all the time in the world to carry out his punishment. David could only twitch. He wanted to scream, but he couldn’t. He grabbed Asher’s left hand, which was locked around his jaw, as he tried to pry it open and free himself, but it was simply a futile attempt. Blood flowed from his mouth as his gums tore apart.

David immediately took out a small device from his space ring and implanted it onto Asher’s back. The next moment, Asher felt a jolt of electricity tear through his body. But with Asher’s physique, such an attack was simply useless. Asher immediately clamped down on the hand that David had used to implant the device onto his back, then tore the arm off at the shoulder with ease, as though David wasn’t made of flesh and bone but of wet paper instead.

Blood splattered onto the floor. David trembled and then lost consciousness as he could no longer endure the pain.

Asher threw him to the floor as though he were a discarded rag. If the brain ever shut down, all one had to do was wake it up, and as someone who had read medical books, Asher understood that one method of doing so was through extreme pain.

With that, Asher lifted a foot and slammed it down upon David’s kneecap. The sickening sound of bone being crushed echoed through the air as David was immediately jolted awake. He wanted to scream, but he couldn’t. He could only stare into Asher’s eyes with fear, his body spasming. He turned and began crawling across the ground with one hand as he desperately tried to get as far away from Asher as possible.

But Asher simply crushed his second leg, then grabbed him by the skull and slammed his face into the ground with brutal force that shattered his nose and forehead.

Asher rose, his body turning toward Maximus and Hilton, his purple eyes meeting theirs with nothing but pure coldness and hostility.

The entire hall was drenched in silence. Nobody dared make a sound as they stared at Asher displaying brutality of the highest order right in front of their very eyes. Many eyes turned toward David, who was no different from a half-dead man. They could only feel pity for him. They could only imagine the trauma he must have gained from the brutality he had just experienced.

Maximus took a step back as he felt Asher’s gaze settle upon him, his body shaking as fear crept into his heart. As for Hilton, he didn’t shake in fear, but his face had twisted into a frown. He hadn’t expected David to make a move, and not only that, he hadn’t expected Asher to handle David so easily. After all, David was ranked within the top thirty of their Heavenly Academy.

It was at this moment that he came to realize that Asher must have come from a Noble Household from either the Zarethorne Empire or the Vandross Empire. But Hilton knew he couldn’t simply step back now. If he retreated, he would be admitting defeat and further tarnishing the Zarik Family’s name.

Asher walked toward him, the sound of his feet meeting the ground the only thing echoing throughout the hall at this moment.

The moment Asher arrived before Hilton, Maximus was immediately blown backward by an unseen attack, his body turning into a blur as he crashed into the floor, the spectators dodging so that Maximus wouldn’t slam into them.

He coughed up blood as he slammed into the floor, bones shattering upon impact. The attack had been fast, far too fast for Hilton to even follow, and brutal as Maximus felt every organ within his body twist before he finally fell unconscious.

Hilton immediately moved, his weapon appearing in his hand, but before he could even attack Asher, Hilton saw only a blur, and the next moment, his own weapon was plunged into his stomach. He immediately coughed up blood, unable to believe his eyes. But Asher didn’t answer any of his unspoken questions. He simply slammed his palm into Hilton’s jaw.

Hilton’s head immediately snapped upward, his teeth shattering against one another as his body shot upward like a kite. His head crashed into a chandelier with sickening force as glass burst in every direction. Then his head slammed into the ceiling, which cracked as he lodged himself into it. His body hung there, dangling from above, with only his shoulders and below remaining visible as those on the upper level of the gala could now see only Hilton’s head.

Hilton had already fallen unconscious.

Asher stood in silence, his purple eyes shifting toward all three of them. Then, without a word, he took out a handkerchief from his breast pocket, cleaned his hand, and tossed it away. With that, he turned and walked off as though what had happened had absolutely nothing to do with him.

Nobody dared block his path. They simply stepped out of the way as they realized he wasn’t someone to be messed with.

As for Rachael, who had a first-class seat to the entire event, instead of fearing the blood and brutality she had just witnessed, her eyes merely sparkled and twinkled like stars at the scene.
