Alexander Gray, a fifteen-year-old teenager on the verge of his awakening and subsequent entry into the Hunters Academy is one day taken away in a cosmic mana wave that passes through Earth’s solar system during a school trip from Earth to Mars. Even with his awakened talents and the benefits he received from the ’accident’ that should have killed him, he now finds himself stuck and unable to level up as mana does not work on him like everyone else. People from a technologically advanced society are thrown into a world where they can't maintain their tech. They are forced to rely on what the world provides where they have to make do with the limited resources they have and what little of their old technology is still working. Their gene manipulation allows them to have something akin to superpowers, but that doesn't help much against the monsters of their new world. Not sure yet whether sufficiently advanced technology will be discovered later on to count as magic.It turns more political between the various clans later on.

Jay was merely a butcher, living in a small village on the outskirts of a magical world. When humans came of age, they would receive their class from a mana conduit, and begin their lives as adventurers.

Through plotting, secrecy, and sometimes by sheer carnage, he can only attempt to survive in this hostile world.
