Apocalypse Lord
Chapter 226 - 158: Ark Triumphs!
Northern Border of the Island.
The frost wind rampages over the sea.
The Empire’s sea waves are incredibly fierce, turning an Alliance battleship into a bizarrely shaped iceberg.
Despair is etched on the faces of the Alliance soldiers on the deck, they turn into ice sculptures in the freezing air, only to be mercilessly beheaded by the ruthless Imperial soldiers.
The ice spreads forward under the feet of the Imperial soldiers, while the oblivious mechanical soldiers tread on the sea as if it’s flat ground, endlessly crawling up onto the main ship of the Graythorn Legion.
Commander Ralph, clad in magic-guided battle armor, pants heavily, his heart burning with rage.
He got screwed by that bastard Horn, if he hadn’t voluntarily dispersed the troops, the Graythorn Legion would never be in such a precarious situation!
Just then, the distant sea surface ripples slightly, and finally, two warships sent out by Chief of Staff Nico have returned!
The bad news is, the Ark’s war chariot has also arrived in the skies above the Northern Border.
Centurion Colin grips the Ash Soil Giant Sword tightly, focusing intently on the sudden clash between the Alliance battleship and the Empire’s submarine.
Lord Ed has already given clear instructions: as long as the Sun Legion hasn’t completely dealt with the Silver Wing Legion, the warriors of the Northern Border and Eastern Border just need to defend and protect the civilians.
"Chief of Staff Nico, aim at the Empire warship’s direction, and unleash all the ammunition!!"
Commander Ralph roars, chopping down an Imperial soldier in front of him with a larger magic-guided sword.
He decisively abandons the battleship turned ice sculpture, and the legion’s main ship begins to forcefully break through towards the entrance of the sea route.
At the same time, the Shattered Star ship unhesitatingly targets the legion’s main ship with black tactics.
The magic-guided shield flickers violently under the light cannon, dims, and the sharp ice immediately carves ghastly wounds into the Alliance’s battleship.
But the Graythorn main ship still disregards all as it charges towards the Empire warship.
Shells fall like raindrops, facing the Alliance warship’s virtually suicidal desperate struggle, the Black Dream submarine ultimately chooses to yield the way, avoiding its fierce front.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, three Alliance battleships crash straight into the Fog Strait behind the submarine, disappearing from sight.
Osguta watches the screen coldly.
"The magic-guided shield of the Alliance warship can’t hold anymore."
He asks respectfully the young man beside him, "Count, should we take this opportunity to pursue them?"
"There’s no need."
The Imperial Count, completely composed of bionic mechanical parts, shakes his head slightly. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"A Gold Level Legion Commander isn’t like a wild rabbit on the roadside; it can’t be killed just because we want to. Ralph surely has other means."
Elio says indifferently, "We’ve already completed Lord Frost Falcon’s order, successfully showing our stance to Lord Lin Lan."
The Imperial Count gazes at the Ark war chariot floating above the port ruins, lost in thought.
The Graythorn Legion rushed to escape, even abandoning a valuable Alliance warship, which clearly means Commander Ralph no longer expects support from another Alliance Legion...
Lord Lin Lan is likely to have successfully annihilated the Silver Wing Legion attacking Seagull City...
"What a frightening guy..."
Elio murmurs.
He once briefly confronted Commander Horn, that Demon person firmly upheld his greedy beliefs, quite difficult to deal with.
"Let’s leave as well, and bring back Lord Lin Lan’s thoughts and conditions to the Empire. We urgently need the Ark Kingdom’s means to counter Celestial Calamity."
Elio gestures, "Lord Frost Falcon will arrange everything."
"Yes, Count." Osguta responds respectfully.
"Oh, and take our spoils too, the magic-guided materials from the Alliance are valuable,"
Elio points to the screen showing the Alliance battleship frozen into an iceberg, saying in annoyance, "Since Lord Lin Lan is so cold, there’s no need for us to be polite."
He snorts, "Take it back and dismantle it, the soldiers thus manufactured can be sent to the Extreme North Ice Abyss to fill the line."
Nearby, Centurion Colin closes his eyes, his awareness ascends to the Golden Realm.
·
Seagull Port has quieted down.
The sea surface is covered with bright golden flames and rolling thick smoke, Flower-Wave Sea has turned into bright firewood, and the half body of the shattered main ship has sunk into the sea surface.
Ever since the Ark Leader stepped onto that monstrous ship, everyone’s heart has been held up.
The captured Alliance soldiers fall into silence, anxiously waiting for an outcome that seems unlikely.
Until a plain sounding gunshot abruptly rings out.
Though the sound isn’t loud, the soldiers sway, the gunshot is like a heavy drum pounding viciously on their hearts.
In their extremely terrified gaze, the contract engraved deep within their souls emerges and turns into pale ashes.
Above all, Governor, this group of bumpkins... this terrifying group of Ark People are serious! They actually made Commander Horn pay with his life!
That is the Silver Wing Commander who stands above millions!
Even on the White Oak Main Island where money rules all, someone of commander level is a figure countless tycoons desperately curry favor with.
How can such a big figure simply pass away in such a suffocating manner on a small island?!
The Alliance soldiers look ashen-faced, this indescribable fear completely destroys the last vestige of hope in their hearts.
Then, the Ark Leader strides leisurely out of the cabin, and Lin Lan stands on the raised bow of the ship.
Numerous eyes focus on the young figure, eagerly looking on.
