Chapter 759: Chapter 760 – Forgotten Wheat Field.

A massive volume of crows rained down from above, bombarding the area as their corpse hit the ground and exploded, unleashing a deadly gasses which straight up melted everything they had touched.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAH!" – and in the middle of this bombardment stood a creature made out of wood and feathers.

A towering creature with long limbs, wielding a farming scythe and extremely long and inhuman claws made out of countless crow feathers.

[Forgotten Scarecrow]

The bag wearing monster swung its scythe and claws around... However, both were just grabbed and held in place.

"Okay. That is enough data." – said Blueberry in her massive dragon form has completely locked the massive monster in place, while the explosive crows just bombarded the massive cyborg dragon... Who just stood in place, taking on the attacks which straight up not bothered her one bit.

Blueberry pulled closer the massive scarecrow towards her, before moments later unleashing her breath attack in a form of a beam, which just straight up vaporized the top half of the creature.

The limbs of the creature just fell down the ground, before moments later the flock of crows which flew above just all began dropping dead and falling down.... Before then hitting the ground and exploding last more time.

"Oh... So, a one last trick thing?" – said Blueberry as she was completely unbothered by the creatures’ explosive deaths as the dragoness just pulled out a [Draconic Barrier], forming an egg like barrier around herself, which somewhat made the annoying explosions and smoke.

(Let’s see.... [Scythe Of Rouge Experiment]... Legendary.) – thought Blueberry as she casually was checking the drop items.

(Unique. Unique... Epic. Epic.... [Weirdly Large Crow Feather]... Unknown rarity.)

(That is pretty much it.) – thought Blueberry as she then took on her humanoid form and took out a notebook.

-Undead monsters named [Worked And Forgotten] are present. An undead monster which are fusion of scarecrows and human bodies. Different variants, some warrior types, some mages type, ratio 50/50.

-Dungeon size – Massive – A labyrinth type where you have to find a hole to descend down.

-Boss monster – Forgotten Scarecrow – A towering monster which was more than 10 meters high – Uses scythe or a massive arm claw made out of crow feathers – Posses army of crows which it can use to do a suicidal attacks, the crows blow up on contact and spread poison type effect in form of a mist, it doesn’t last long but the longer you are under the effect of poison, the more damage you will receive, each time you get hit with the mist, the timer resets and it also increases.]

(The level.... Well, it was definitely not something weak.... But something extremely powerful that was on my level.) – thought Blueberry as she was writing on her notebook.

(Info or lore.... Non.... I wasn’t able to get any.) – thought Blueberry as the poisonous smoke finally started disappearing.

(So far what I could see, this is nothing more than wheat farm.)

(Like, regular wheat.)

(The boss area is the only spot where the weed isn’t present thought. It all looks pretty much dead. Rotten and melted.) – thought Blueberry as the mist of poison disappeared, fallowed up with the dragon taking off into the sky and quickly flying around, trying to spot anything out of ordinally... But not finding anything.

"I guess no luck this time."

(Still... Isn’t this bit odd?) – thought Blueberry.

(I mean, the first dungeon, the Forgotten Toy Workshop had monsters that were made out of flesh and toy parts.)

(The second on, there were monsters made out of human parts and insect parts.)

(And now monsters made out of scarecrow and human parts.)

(Technically speaking, if the info that they had provided was correct, then this "flesh" was from a human... And that means they were also part human, part toy monsters.)

(Huh... 3 times in a row in our continent we found Forgotten Fragments that share one characteristic?)

(... But the Forgotten Execution Grounds had a decapitate people, monsters and what not...)

(But then again, these 3 dungeon must had spawned during the wave....)

(Welp... For now, let’s return back to the surface, since my job here is done.) – thought Blueberry as she started flying out of the dungeon, traversing the now empty field of wheat.

(Still... What the hell are we supposed to do with THAT method?)

(So far, we had encountered beings that are feral, mad or broken... Nobody who can we hold a proper conversation with.)

(I mean, we DO know that there was a reason why Sloth gave us this information, not only to repair the Caliburn, but to do something else with it.)

(The other thing we thought of was the "benefactor" using that method to revive the Forgotten Beings.... But is that really it? Don’t they also needs the dungeons and what not? But from what WE had seen, he just ran with them.)

(So that means he cannot do the whole resurrection thing.) – thought Blueberry as she managed to pretty much traverse the entire dungeon with ease, quickly finding herself entrance of the dungeon where her knights alongside their golems were waiting.

"You are back your majesty!" – said the female vampire knight named Miwa.

"Yes. The Forgotten Fragment has been dealt with." – replied Blueberry.

"What about it?"

"No sights my lady." – replied Miwa.

"Tch.... Ahhhh.... Annoying... But still, great work." – said Blueberry as she headed towards one of the golems, which then suddenly opened up, revealing a hidden pilot cabin, which Blueberry flew into in her humanoid form.

"Let’s go back."

"Yes, your majesty!" – replied the vampire knight as the golem closed the cockpit and the group of knights started to leave the dungeon.

"..."

(So, he didn’t took the bait.) – thought annoyed Blueberry as the group left the dungeon.... And nothing at all was happening, which straight up disappointed Blueberry on the spot.

(I intentional made it look like there were minimal forces protecting the dungeon... In order to bait somebody into attacking this place.)

(Heck. Nobody should knew I was even here.)

(And nobody should know that the outside the dungeon, my own hidden forces were present.)

(I’ve made a perfect bait for the "benefactor" to show up and exterminate the people here.)

(Yet again, no sights.)

(It has been months, and we couldn’t find any traces of him within our empire.... However, because how big our nation is, there is obviously a lot of spot you can hide in to avoid our gazes.)

"Hey. Is the information even correct in the first place?" – asked LM as GreyHunt team was traversing through the deep forest, while ridding a bunch of monsters, including demonic horses.

"Well... Considering the commotion that was happening.... There is no way that this ain’t real... Not only that, I’ve made the contact with the desert queen, Arrianhi Umil." – replied GreyHunt.

"The entire incident is real and it already slowly getting out of hand."

"in the middle of the peaceful oasis, a Forgotten Fragment was discovered."

"The whole oasis was a completely safe place for anybody, be it for a wild beats or traverses, it was a place of peace.... However, the moment THAT dungeon popped up in there, the whole situation has changed."

"We will keep being hidden and we already gotten green lights from the queen. If anything, she wants us to deal with that annoying dungeon as soon as possible, before the whole thing turns into a huge disaster."

(Still... It is quiet opportunity for us... And problem.) – thought annoyed GreyHunt.
