Urban Super Soldier King
Chapter 1940 - 2041: Unstable Elements
"Leader, you have to be careful." Wu Meng said before he attacked Xiang Yu.
Xiang Yu quickly jumped back. He didn’t dare to be careless and could tell that Wu Meng was also trained in combat.
Seeing Xiang Yu retreat, Wu Meng stepped in closer and kicked towards Xiang Yu.
Xiang Yu dodged again, Wu Meng attacked again, Xiang Yu dodged again. This cycle continued for five rounds, and Wu Meng never even touched Xiang Yu.
"Leader, this isn’t looking good, the brothers are all watching." Wu Meng said with some contempt.
Xiang Yu was the leader of Sun City, but Wu Meng came from outside and had no connection with him.
Although he had heard of Xiang Yu’s excellent skills before, he had never experienced them first-hand, and he was not convinced.
"Fight, make a move!"
People around shouted, and some of the new recruits jeered and clamored.
The veterans of Sun City frowned; they didn’t want Xiang Yu to lose.
Xiang Yu smiled calmly, "I’m going to make a move. You better be ready."
"I’ve been ready, come at me with full force." Wu Meng shouted.
Xiang Yu snorted coldly, then suddenly kicked at Wu Meng. He hadn’t attacked earlier, wanting to observe Wu Meng’s moves.
Now, Xiang Yu had a clear understanding of Wu Meng’s routine and didn’t want to waste more time.
Xiang Yu’s speed was quick, directly kicking Wu Meng in the neck.
Wu Meng grunted, trying to withstand it, but Xiang Yu had used full force, and the strength was immense.
Wu Meng couldn’t withstand it and kneeled right there; the scene suddenly fell silent.
In one move, Xiang Yu had defeated Wu Meng.
"Do you concede?" Xiang Yu asked with a calm smile.
"No!" Wu Meng shouted, struggling to stand up and kicked at Xiang Yu again.
Xiang Yu spun around and kicked Wu Meng in the chest.
Though Wu Meng was sturdy, he was still sent flying by Xiang Yu’s kick.
"Good!" The team leaders reacted, applauding. Xiang Yu was their leader, and today’s performance did not disappoint them.
"Anyone else want to try?" Xiang Yu shouted, looking around.
"Anyone else unconvinced, come down quickly," the team leaders also shouted.
They now had full confidence in Xiang Yu.
"I’m not convinced."
Just then, Wu Meng suddenly stood up and charged at Xiang Yu, a gleaming dagger in his hand.
"Watch out." Tie Zhuzi, watching closely from a distance, ran quickly in their direction, but it was already too late.
Eck, from a distance, broke out in a cold sweat. The situation had gone beyond his imagination.
The surroundings descended into chaos, some people preparing to shoot Wu Meng, but because of Xiang Yu’s proximity, they feared hitting him.
Xiang Yu had been on guard since he first laid eyes on Wu Meng, knowing he wasn’t someone good.
Seeing the opponent stab at him, Xiang Yu quickly sidestepped, then kicked directly at Wu Meng’s leg.
Wu Meng lost his balance and fell forward while Xiang Yu chopped down on his back.
This chop, Xiang Yu held back his strength; using full force might have cost Wu Meng his life.
Tie Zhuzi rushed over at this point, kicking at Wu Meng’s head.
Xiang Yu quickly pulled him away.
"Brother Yu, he dared to attack you, I’ll kill him," Tie Zhuzi said, glaring with wide eyes.
People surrounded them, relieved to see Xiang Yu unharmed.
"Leave this to Eck to resolve." Xiang Yu said with a faint smile to Tie Zhuzi.
Eck also rushed over, face full of guilt as he said, "Leader..."
"I’m okay, no need for words. He’s your man, so you handle it." Leaving these words, Xiang Yu walked outside.
The crowd quickly made way, standing straight to see Xiang Yu and them leave.
"Arrest him!" Eck shouted in anger.
Xiang Yu didn’t pay attention to how Wu Meng was handled; instead, he casually walked down the street with Tie Zhuzi.
"Brother Yu, I think there are unstable elements in the militia," Tie Zhuzi said, frowning.
"Don’t speak recklessly, we’re all brothers." Xiang Yu smiled.
Many people on the street greeted Xiang Yu, and he smiled back at them.
"But today..." Tie Zhuzi was a bit agitated, wanting to voice his doubts.
Xiang Yu quickly stopped him, "I’m aware, don’t talk nonsense."
Seeing Xiang Yu’s serious expression, Tie Zhuzi nodded, understanding Xiang Yu’s intent. They were on the street now; walls have ears, so he shouldn’t speak carelessly.
As the two walked down the street, a lively young man came running towards them; it was Jieke, Xi’er’s younger brother.
"Brother Yu, long time no see." Jieke said cheerfully.
He’s always admired Xiang Yu and wished for his sister to marry him, but since Long Wu arrived, he gave up on that idea.
"What have you been up to lately?" Xiang Yu patted his shoulder.
"Sister wants me to learn farming techniques; I’m learning from a German expert now." Jieke said excitedly.
"Have you learned anything?" Xiang Yu asked as he strolled ahead.
"Farming is easy, you learn it quickly." Jieke replied cheerfully.
The three of them walked and chatted, and finally Xiang Yu said, "Do you have any ambitions in life?"
"Ambitions?" Jieke thought for a moment and shook his head, "Personally, I have no big ambitions. If anything, I want to contribute to the city and see it develop quickly."
"Good kid, that’s a big ambition." Tie Zhuzi laughed heartily.
"What about you, Brother Zhuzi, what’s your ambition?" Jieke asked, looking at Tie Zhuzi.
"My ambition is to sleep with women from all over the world." Tie Zhuzi said boldly.
Many people around hearing this couldn’t help but laugh.
"Zhuzi, don’t talk nonsense, Jieke is still underage." Xiang Yu scolded, giving Tie Zhuzi a look.
"Right, he hasn’t even grown all his hair yet." Tie Zhuzi laughed.
Jieke, a bit flustered, said, "Who said I’m not fully grown, I have plenty."
Xiang Yu, Tie Zhuzi: "..."
"From tomorrow, tell your sister not to study farming techniques anymore, report to the City Guard Army base." Xiang Yu said with a smile.
"Me? Really?" Jieke asked in surprise.
He knew entering the City Guard Army meant starting in the militia first, and only by performing well could one join the City Guard Army.
"If Brother Yu says you can, then you can. Report there tomorrow, I want to train you well." Tie Zhuzi added.
"Awesome! Then you need to issue me a gun first." Jieke said excitedly.
"No problem, we’ve got plenty of guns; use whatever you want." Tie Zhuzi said generously.
"I’ll go tell my sister now." With these words, Jieke ran into the distance.
Watching him leave, Tie Zhuzi put away his smile, then looked at Xiang Yu, "Brother Yu, he’s a good seed."
Xiang Yu just smiled faintly, saying nothing more, and continued walking ahead...
