Chapter 357: Chapter 86: Spreading the Void

Dragon Pool.

Atop two rows of stone pillars hundreds of meters high, sat numerous Black Dragon monsters with folded Dragon Wings, their entire bodies menacing and impenetrably dark. Their formidable Dragon Bodies were perfectly still, and their indifferent Dragon Eyes whirled about.

In total, there were fifty-one of these black muscular Dragon monsters, radiating an intense and terrifying aura from head to toe.

The weakest among them was at Level 15.

And the strongest had even reached the Nineteen-level Peak.

These were the Void Descendants that Udi had transformed using Void Power over the course of a year, essentially converting all the Master-level Followers in the Black Wing Nest into Void Descendants, except for some core followers and Legion Leaders.

For example, the Nineteen-level Peak Cloud Eagle that had joined the Black Wing Nest long ago.

Before it transformed into a Void Descendant, the Cloud Eagle’s prowess was still somewhat distant from being Pseudo-Legendary. But after the transformation, the Cloud Eagle’s physique received a minor boost, and additionally, it acquired a Tier One Talent of [Sharp Claws and Fangs], barely crossing into Pseudo-Legendary status, making it the most powerful among the fifty-one Void Descendants.

The talent [Sharp Claws and Fangs] originated from the Four-armed Blade Demon consumed by Udi, which made Dragon Claws, Dragon Teeth, and Dragon Horns even more razor-sharp and frightening.

This Mutated Talent is not exceedingly strong, but its effect is highly practical, especially since the Void Descendants’ greatest strength lies in their physical forms. Their Dragon Bodies, already significantly more robust than creatures of the same tier, combined with naturally sharp claws and fangs and this [Sharp Claws and Fangs] talent, elevate their close combat abilities to the peak.

The only regret Udi had was that out of all fifty-one... no, including the initially transformed Middle Level Void Descendant, totaling fifty-two, not a single Void Descendant gained two or more Mutated Talents; they all only gained one Mutated Talent each.

Udi initially believed that the Middle Level Void Descendant test subject was just an anomaly, perhaps due to poorer innate talent or low compatibility with his talents. However, after transforming dozens of Void Descendants, this hypothesis proved not to be the case.

Perhaps the cap on the number of talents gifted by Void Power to the Void Descendants was just one.

A bit disappointing, but not overly so, as Void Descendants with additional talents, combined with their learned skills, could rival White Dragons, even at their weakest in the same tier.

After all, even a Tier One Mutated Talent stems from the bloodline talents of Legendary Creatures, and though the bloodline of White Dragons is also considered top-tier, the chance of them advancing to Legendary is well known.

Besides these fifty-one Void Descendants at a minimum of Level 15, over the past year, Udi has roamed various areas in the Abyssal Lava Wilderness Plane, Ghost Race Plane, and Tal Plane Sea Area, dispersing a quantity of Void Power exceeding all of the past two decades combined.

Currently, the numbers of Void Demons in the Abyssal Lava Wasteland have increased from over three million to more than seven million.

On the Ghost Race Plane, leveraging the war between the Five Great Ghost Clans and the Black Smoke City Demons, roughly five million Void Ghosts were quietly disseminated.

Initially, there were over two million Void Followers on the Tal Plane, but under Udi’s diligent efforts, they have grown to over five million.

In total, the creatures affected by Void Power in these three places now amount to eighteen million.

This number is almost equivalent to the total population of two Human Duchies!

Yet this was just the first year Udi went out on ’business’ trips himself.

Afterwards, the task of ’business trips’ would be entrusted to the Void Descendants.

Udi painstakingly developed dozens of Level 15 Void Descendants, not purely to gain a group of powerful loyalists.

For now, their mission upon creation is to spread Void Power.

Under the protection of the fifty-one Void Descendants, the Black Dragon Lord awakened from the Banquet’s slumber.

It glanced at its current panel information.

[Udi: Biological Level Nineteen-Level High; Mage Level Eighteen-Level High] (Body Length 71.6m)

[Current Banquet Level: 323] (Cooldown Time: Thirty Days)

[Mutated Talents: Super-speed Recovery (Tier Three), Dark Demon’s Eye (Tier Three {Pseudo}), Plant Growth (Tier Two), Soul Absorption (Tier Two), Demon Flame (Tier Two), Black Water (Tier One), Highly Poisonous Spiritual Light (Tier One), Frost (Tier One), Sharp Claws and Fangs (Tier One), Purple Thunder (Tier One)]

[Spell-like Abilities: Transformation Technique..]

[Spell Rune: Eight-Ring: Enslaved Soul (Beginner 97%), Eight-Ring·Law Command Shock (Beginner 20%), Eight-Ring·Anti-Magic Field (Beginner 3%)]

[Spiritual Martial Techniques: Rolling Stone Strike (Beginner 81%), Instant Step (Beginner 15%), Hundred Split Fist (Beginner 3%)]

Though the Biological Tier remained at High-Level Nineteen, after stacking the Banquet’s effects multiple times over the year, Udi’s foundational strength has been elevated quite a bit.

There is still a considerable gap to reaching Legendary Tier Three, as each tier’s power difference is exponentially larger; it’s not something that can be crossed just by a year’s accumulation from the Banquet... unless every Banquet devoured Legendary Creatures within that year.

"However, if I were to face Victor again, and if he were careless, there might be an opportunity to take him down," Udi mumbled to himself.

The main issue was that Victor possessed a Teleportation Artifact and wielded a Legendary Greatsword, ’Red Blade·Bloodthirst’, which could save his life at critical moments. Unless Victor could be instantly slain or caught off guard critically to damage or destroy the Teleportation Artifact, capturing him would indeed be challenging.
