They found the absolute perfect design.

The drawing showed a stunning, complex gown which had a ridiculous amount of layers on the skirt. It was packed with an insane amount of folds and heavy frills. Plus, there were tons of lace patterns covering the edges.

And if a normal tailor actually sat down to sew this gown by hand, they would be stuck holding a needle for months. Because bringing a dress this crazy to life was just an absolute nightmare of a job.

It was primarily a pitch black dress but the red accents were placed perfectly. The dark crimson highlights traced the edges of the frills and the bodice. It was a minimal use of red, but it made the whole outfit pop.

Adrian absolutely loved it.

The carriage stopped in front of the mansion and they all got down before Adrian handed the remaining stacks of paper back to the girls.

"Take these." Adrian told Claire, Serena, and Celeste. "Pick whichever designs you want for your own dresses. Give the final choices to me by the end of the day."

He looked at Celeste. "And pick a nice suit design for your brother too. Pick one for me while you are at it."

"As you wish, Lord Adrian." Celeste bowed politely.

"Okay." Claire nodded.

Serena just offered a quiet nod, holding her stack of papers tightly.

Adrian was about to leave, but then he paused for a second before he looked back at them.

"Pick one for Cassius, Burke and Thorne too." he said and left them in the courtyard and walked straight into the mansion. He headed up the stairs and locked himself inside his bedroom.

He called out to the system and sent the selected dress design into the dungeon.

’System.’ Adrian commanded. ’Make me this exact dress. The main fabric needs to be pitch black, but the red sections need to have a very slight reflective effect. Make it shine just a little bit using those different methods we have.’

[Affirmative. Processing design.]

Adrian waited.

Just a few seconds later, a perfectly crafted dress materialized inside the dungeon before he brought it out.

Adrian ran his hand over the fabric. It was incredibly smooth and to his surprise, felt softer than almost every kind of fabrics he had seen in this world.

And because of the insane amount of layers on the skirt, the dress was wonderfully fluffy. But when Adrian picked it up, it wasn’t too heavy.

He was incredibly happy with the final product.

It suddenly hit him. Tailors using flimsy measuring tapes would make tiny mistakes most of the time.

A dress could end up a fraction of an inch too tight orr maybe a little too loose. Sure, a normal person wouldn’t even notice something so small but Adrian wanted absolute perfection.

’Why didn’t I just use the dungeon to scan her exact measurements?’ he thought as he clicked his tongue.

He tossed the finished dress right onto his mattress and walked out into the hall. He headed straight for Aria’s bedroom and pushed the door open.

But the room was totally empty.

So he marched outside and went to the training fields behind the mansion.

He spotted Aria running laps alongside the soldiers. He waved her over and grabbed her small hand before he took her straight to the dungeon.

They stepped right into the main gacha room, and Adrian didn’t say a single word as he mentally ordered the system to run a full body scan on her. Because he needed the absolute perfect measurements for her new dress.

The dungeon did its job instantly. It recorded her exact shoulder width, waist size, arm length and everything else perfectly and once that was done, Adrian just turned right around.

He walked back out through the dungeon exit. Aria followed him out and looked up with total confusion written all over her face.

"Papa? Why did you even bring me here?" Aria asked.

Adrian just rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Well." Adrian laughed. "I actually forgot why I brought you here. I am sorry."

Aria puffed her cheeks out, swung her fist and punched him right in the leg. It was not a real punch though. It was just a playful hit and that was it.

"Papa," Aria demanded. "Let’s go eat!" 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

"Okay, fine." Adrian smiled.

He took her to the town square and they headed straight for the burrito shop that all the construction workers loved.

Adrian bought the most expensive, premium beef and cheese roll on the menu.

He only bought one because he knew exactly how much his daughter could actually eat.

Aria held the massive burrito with both hands. She took huge bites, getting the thing all over lips. But halfway through the roll, she stopped.

She handed the half eaten burrito up to Adrian.

He took it and finished the rest of the food without a single second of hesitation. He just casually ate her leftovers while they walked back to the estate.

Once they got back inside, Aria broke off and headed upstairs. She did not return to the training grounds.

She walked into her bedroom and pushed the heavy wooden door shut.

The moment the latch clicked, her happy, childish expression vanished. Her expression fell and she looked incredibly sad.

She let out a long, heavy sigh.

’I should just be happy with what I have.’ Aria thought to herself. ’This life is so much better than my previous life. I should not expect a birthday party... I shouldn’t have had the expectations that he would remember... I’m already happy so why do I feel so bad? Maybe I should just remind him about it.’

But then a sudden realization hit her hard.

She remembered that Adrian had never celebrated his own birthday either.

And she had not even thought about his birthday once. She literally did not even know what month he was born in.

That thought just made her feel a hundred times worse and the guilt settled right in her chest.

’What kind of daughter am I?’ Aria thought miserably. ’I should be remembering his special day. I should be making his birthday perfect and here I am complaining to myself because he forgot mine. While I don’t even know his.’
