Chapter 1515: Officially, A Student

After his domineering entrance, Klaus and Eiko made their way toward the administration building, leaving everyone who had witnessed his dominance or seen him pass by wondering just what that Leviathan was.

They saw that it had no cultivation, like how most beasts do.

Despite being gradeless, everyone who saw it could tell it was a threat to their lives.

What they didn’t know was that while most elements grow based on their owner’s understanding, Klaus’s forbidden elements had a second growth path.

Aside from growing stronger thanks to the elemental comprehension of their owner, as Klaus grew stronger, so did they. In fact, now that Klaus had become a monster in human clothing, they could also be measured to be on his level.

This meant that, aside from Klaus himself, the chances of anyone defeating them were next to none.

What was even more alarming was that his elementals were all sentient. All of his elemental affinities were intelligent, having formed elemental spirits.

While nobody knows they belonged to him, the universe had already witnessed the power of his flame elements. He had made that element his Criminal Incarnation’s elemental affinity.

Those four elements are humanoid in nature.

Because of that, he chose to keep his other elements in their beast forms for now.

Paragon had already taken the darkness element and one aspect of his lightning element, while Klaus got to keep the other.

He did this so that people would not try to connect him to the Paragon again. If they both had elementals that could transform into humanoids like his four flame elements, people would start talking.

So he kept them in their beast forms to make things simple for himself and everyone else.

Klaus wasn’t the only one with sentient elemental affinities.

There are numerous others out there with such intelligent elements. Once a warrior’s understanding of their element reached the Perfect Harmony Stage, some could form elemental spirits and gain sentience.

However, unless they have Klaus’s unique cultivation method, those spirit flames would be much weaker than his own elements.

Klaus is the only wielder of forbidden elements since the forbidden universe is no more. And because his elements had gained sentience, he wasn’t really scared to show them. Nobody would sense their forbidden nature, not even the heavens.

Now, as they flew toward the administration building, a trail of ice following in their wake, every disciple could only suck in a cold breath.

Klaus deliberately used the [Abyssal Ice] to send a very powerful message. If his ice element alone was this powerful, then what about the man himself?

"Eiko, what would be required of me at the administration?" Klaus asked, turning to Eiko, who was in a daze.

Hearing Klaus’s question, she snapped back to her senses and answered, "They just need your name and signature. Since you have been referred by someone ranking high in the academy, you wouldn’t have to undergo any tests."

"Oh, that is cool, I guess. However, I learned there is a way to determine if I am the Paragon or not."

Klaus had, in the past, fallen into many traps set by the Heavens Court, so he wanted to know if there was such a thing here.

In the past, his identity as the Paragon was always revealed after he fell into traps he never knew existed. Had it not been for that, he would have lived some semblance of a peaceful life.

Not that he was worried.

The current him had no Paragon power, even though he was the main body of the Paragon. He could use Paragon powers, but he could not be detected as the Paragon because his bloodline had yet to awaken.

No trap would ever catch him, even if he were here as the Criminal Incarnation. With multiple bodies, he could move his Paragon power around to evade detection.

Eiko nodded at Klaus’s question. "That is indeed true. However, since you haven’t died yet for being on this planet, you can rest assured that no other test would yield any results."

"Oh, so this planet is the test, huh?" Klaus was a bit taken aback.

"Indeed. If the Paragon were to come here, he would be struck down by a power even a Supreme cannot defend against."

"Damn, that is solid, I suppose." Klaus smiled, making sure his happiness didn’t show on his face. Inwardly, however, he beamed with joy.

’That is one step closer to figuring out what they are hiding.’

With that in mind, they soon approached the administration building. Eiko led him inside, and in less than 10 minutes, he was done registering himself.

The process was rather simple. Klaus just registered his name, signed some documents, and provided his bank details for what the school claimed would be used to credit his account.

After that, he was provided a uniform.

Klaus learned that uniforms came in different colors, each signifying an individual’s rank.

The lowest-ranking students had blue uniforms, while the highest-ranking had black uniforms with white stripes. Eiko, who had a green uniform, showed that she ranked in the hundreds of thousands.

One could say she was a low-ranker, given that after blue came brown and then green. However, if the entire academy population were taken into consideration, someone ranking 897,400 would seem to be a decent student. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Klaus was given a black uniform with red stripes, a clear indication that he was a Unique Disciple, so he wasn’t required to wear the same uniform as everyone else.

After he became an official disciple, Klaus’s next objective was to go to the Engineering College to register, as well as to see Supreme Engineer Winnie.

He had 14 more months before the mission he was assigned by the Mission Hall expired. Klaus planned to head there in two months’ time since the longer he waited, the more people would be put in danger.

Already, his Criminal Incarnation, Rhazor, was two weeks away from the Devil’s Maw, so he had to make sure he settled in well before leaving for the mission.

But aside from that, he wanted to establish himself in the academy. The two months he had set for himself sounded like the perfect amount of time to do that.

What Klaus never expected was that, right after he and Eiko came out of the administration building, three Supremes, one of whom he recognized, would be blocking their way.

He recognized Supreme Engineer Winnie since they had met during his duel with Rouni.

The second Supreme, a man with flowing blue hair and feminine features, smiled at Klaus, his eyes sparkling for some reason.

Klaus sensed some form of danger coming from him, not because he was a powerful warrior, but more because Klaus feared for his innocence, considering the kind of aura coming from the man.

’How can a man have such a lustful aura around him?’ Klaus screamed inwardly, averting his gaze from the man.

Seeing this, Supreme Healer Gideon covered his lips with a fan and giggled, a sound Klaus would never forget even if he wanted to.

The last Supreme, also a woman, Klaus didn’t recognize her, but he knew one thing... if 100 Supremes faced her in battle, she would cut them down in less than ten seconds.

As someone who had fought powerful foes in the past, Klaus had a good read on people. When he looked at his wife, Queenie, he saw a deadly sword, one forged in the blood of her fallen foes.

Now, as he gazed at this woman, he saw a deadly sword, one sharp enough to cut the void and sever the lines of fate.

Klaus swallowed and locked gazes with the lady.

"You are terrifying," he muttered, a smile appearing on his face. "I like terrifying people."

He added, to the shock of Supreme Engineer Winnie and Supreme Healer Gideon.
