The Lady of the Prestigious Family is a Big Boss
Chapter 179, why is your face so red (second update)
"Yisheng, here’s a chance for revenge," offered Ye Jiuliang, handing the brush to Jiang Yisheng with a wicked gleam in her eye.
"Don’t be shy, draw a turtle on each of their faces."
Jiang Yisheng looked down at the brush she forced into his hand, his eyes shining brightly.
Draw a turtle?
He liked this idea.
He turned his face, and Feng Yi, seeing the brush in his hand, pleaded without dignity, "Asheng, we’re brothers, have mercy."
Jiang Yisheng cracked a smile, his clear, gentle smile sending shivers down Ji Mingqian’s spine.
"Don’t worry, I’ll draw you a nice-looking turtle."
That comment made things worse for both Feng Yi and Ji Mingqian.
Sooner or later they couldn’t escape it, Feng Yi closed his eyes, "Just get it over with."
Jiang Yisheng took up the brush and swept it across the inkstone, the light fragrance of the ink filling the air.
His drawing skills were quite decent, and in just a few strokes, a lifelike turtle was outlined on Feng Yi’s face.
"Hahaha."
Ye Jiuliang couldn’t hold back her laughter and almost had a fit.
"Yisheng, beautifully drawn," she complimented.
Li Mochan, looking at the person in his arms who was laughing so hard she was cramping, caught a glimpse of the turtle on Feng Yi’s face with a corner of his eye, his thin lips curving into an enchanting arc.
This bastard...
Was indeed not bad.
The ink on his face hadn’t dried yet, it felt cool, and seeing the two people across from him laughing non-stop, Feng Yi felt like dying.
His image was ruined.
Rarely, Ji Mingqian didn’t laugh at him out loud.
Because he knew he was next in line for doom.
Jiang Yisheng stood up, walking towards him, and as the brush drew closer, Ji Mingqian leaned back, his whole body rejecting it.
Just as the brush was about to make its mark, Ji Mingqian raised his hand to catch Jiang Yisheng’s wrist, struggling desperately, "Could we, maybe, choose a different animal to draw?"
He really didn’t like... bastards.
Jiang Yisheng didn’t answer him but turned his head to look towards Ye Jiuliang, clearly letting her make the decision.
"Yisheng, draw whatever you like, just don’t forget he just slapped a piece of paper on your forehead," Ye Jiuliang said with a mischievous smile.
Ji Mingqian coughed up a mouthful of old blood and looked up into those clear green eyes; resigned, he let go of his hand.
"Go ahead, draw."
Suppressing his laughter, Jiang Yisheng leaned in slightly and, with the brush in hand, began to sketch on that excessively handsome face.
One minute...
Three minutes...
Five minutes...
Why was it taking so long?
Ji Mingqian opened his eyes to see the man’s water-colored lips curved in a reserved smile. He was momentarily dazed, and by the time he snapped back to reality, the man had moved back.
The faint fragrance also dissipated.
"Done," declared Jiang Yisheng, putting down the brush, his green eyes twinkling with satisfaction.
Before Ji Mingqian could grab his phone to check, the people opposite him burst into laughter, and he got an ominous feeling.
"Aqian, I must say, you and this big bear suit each other quite well," teased Ye Jiuliang.
Ji Mingqian turned to stone.
No wonder it took so long; it turned out he had drawn a big bear.
Seeing the big bear on Ji Mingqian’s face, Feng Yi suddenly felt much more emotionally balanced.
"Actually, I think I did a pretty good job," Jiang Yisheng said with crossed arms, surveying their faces adorned with his "masterpieces" with self-praise.
Upon hearing this, Ji Mingqian laughed darkly, "Feng, how good are your drawing skills?"
Everyone there was cunning, and Feng Yi smiled knowingly, "Not bad."
"What are we waiting for then?"
With those words, Ji Mingqian made his move.
Jiang Yisheng inwardly panicked and turned to run.
Two against one, the outcome was obvious even if one were to think with their toes. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
Feng Yi dragged Jiang Yisheng back and pinned him to the couch.
"Hey, you guys can’t be this unreasonable," he said, his usually pale cheeks flushing with a light red from the hurried run.
"Yi, is this how you treat your brother?"
Feng Yi smirked mischievously, "Who told you to draw a turtle on my face? We’re even."
A faint scent of ink approached, and as he looked up, a shadow loomed over him, the sharp and handsome features magnifying before his eyes.
Seeing the big bear drawn on the man’s face, Jiang Yisheng couldn’t even smile at this moment.
"That, um, I definitely didn’t draw you a turtle," he said, on the verge of tears, his long legs flailing about.
He shrieked at the top of his lungs, "Cousin, Jiuliang, save me!"
Ji Mingqian’s eyes narrowed dangerously. How was a big bear any better than a turtle?
He held the writing brush, pinning his jaw, preventing him from moving.
"Don’t worry, I’ll make you look very handsome."
"..."
Familiar dialogue, only this time he was the one in trouble.
Feng Yi, taking delight in the disaster, said, "Mingqian, draw a mouse too."
A mouse?
Jiang Yisheng’s green eyes widened. He had given up struggling, but hearing the word "mouse," he found strength from somewhere.
He broke free from Feng Yi’s grip, trying to escape.
"Asheng, you..."
Caught off guard, he bent his long legs, which tripped the two in front of him who were unprepared and both stumbled.
Their tall figures lost balance and crashed down together.
"Bang—"
Over 300 pounds weighed down on him, and before Jiang Yisheng could cry out in pain, a cool sensation touched his forehead, and his bright green eyes suddenly widened.
On the other side, Ye Jiuliang was enjoying the spectacle and didn’t expect such a turn of events, looking astonished.
The atmosphere was eerily silent.
On the couch, the three of them were stacked like a tower, with Feng Yi being the luckiest on top.
Coming to his senses, Feng Yi quickly got up and helped Ji Mingqian to his feet as well.
"Damn, my jaw is about to break," Ji Mingqian complained, rubbing his chin with pursed lips.
"Asheng, are you okay?" Seeing Jiang Yisheng’s dazed look, Feng Yi reached out to pull him up.
"Why’s your face so red? Did you get hurt just now?"
The two of them together were not light, had he suffered internal injuries from the impact?
Jiang Yisheng came back to his senses, realizing that no one had noticed the minor incident just before, and the redness on his face began to fade.
He cleared his throat softly, "I’m fine."
He glanced at Ji Mingqian, who was still rubbing his chin, "Are you okay? Do you want to rub some medicinal oil on it?"
At that, Ji Mingqian looked up, and just as he was about to make a jest about the bruise on Jiang Yisheng’s forehead, he changed his tune.
"You better worry about yourself first."
Jiang Yisheng was puzzled, "What?"
"Your forehead," he reminded him.
Jiang Yisheng belatedly felt his forehead, wincing when he touched the bruised area.
His skin was fair, and even a small bruise stood out conspicuously.
Being a frequent visitor, Feng Yi knew his way around and turned to find the first-aid kit, "Wait, I’ll get you some medicinal oil."
Ye Jiuliang asked curiously, "Yisheng, are you really afraid of mice?"
Just now, when Feng Yi mentioned a mouse, his expression looked as if he had seen a ghost.
Jiang Yisheng’s eyes flashed with embarrassment, "That’s... "
"He’s terrified of mice," Li Mochan answered for him.
At this, Ye Jiuliang and Ji Mingqian both burst out laughing.
Jiang Yisheng looked at Li Mochan irritably. Wasn’t he his cousin anymore?
Who doesn’t have something they’re afraid of?
"Here, for you." Feng Yi rummaged through the medicine box, found the medicinal oil, and handed it to Jiang Yisheng.
Jiang Yisheng took it, poured a bit into his palm, and rubbed it on his forehead, his gaze sweeping toward Ji Mingqian, "Do you need to apply some?"
