Document Two: To Lord Poison Dove of the Bounty Guild, please proceed to the cemetery district outside the city on the second Friday of September to conduct the transaction. We will provide the next deposit payment.

Received Divine Chosen Information: Mirabelle First Tier

Divine Artifact: The Silver Iris Brooch

Status: Pure

Measurements: Classified

Phield stared at the documents, scanning them again and again as cold sweat streamed down his back. Even though the surroundings were stiflingly hot, he felt as if he had fallen into an icy abyss.

"What is going on here... and this ’classified’ part is a bit too much."

Phield recalled the scene when he obtained The Silver Iris Brooch. It had been in the basement of the lumberyard, where several young girls had been brutally sacrificed. He had suspected countless factions at the time, but never imagined that he would find such documents inside a church.

"Damn it... don’t tell me the church itself did this."

"My lord, you’re sweating a lot." Tisiana looked confused. "Is it something... good?"

"It’s nothing."

Phield looked into Tisiana’s pure and spotless eyes, confirming she harbored no ill intent. He rubbed his temples. His instincts told him this matter was anything but simple, and not something he could get involved in.

"There’s some information recorded here, but we should leave it alone for now," Phield said seriously. "There’s nothing to gain and everything to lose."

"Alright." No one found it strange.

Nightfall Domain already held many secrets, such as the map of the Subterranean High Elves’ city, the strange compass obtained from Wind Orchid City, and the massive gate within the underground caverns.

After that, Phield led the group to scour the commercial district.

To his disappointment, there was little of value left. Food, equipment, and items in the potion shops had all been ruined.

The potion shops were the most regrettable. They had been smashed and looted.

When the gray fog arrived, panicked citizens had flooded into the shops, trying to find a cure for the corruption. Unfortunately, all they managed to do was shatter precious magical potions.

After searching for a long time, they only found scattered coins totaling around one thousand three hundred gold, along with a crate of fairly well-preserved iron farming tools.

"Phield, I don’t think the lord’s palace will have anything valuable either. It’s probably been emptied long ago."

Rosalia sighed and said apologetically, "My family’s assets were all transferred by my mother. Otherwise, we could have gained much more."

"It’s fine. The most important thing about a territory is this city itself. This fortress at the heart of the domain is the greatest prize. Everything else is just a bonus."

Phield quickly reassured her.

Looting someone’s home while they still had to thank him made him feel a bit awkward. "Let’s head to the wealthy district. I’m sure the rich won’t disappoint us."

With no powerful corrupted corpses blocking their way, the looting went smoothly.

By the afternoon, they had gathered a large chest filled with gold and silver jewelry, totaling fifteen thousand gold coins, along with three outdated First Tier spellbooks.

"Now this is more like it. Too bad there aren’t any high-tier weapons or equipment."

Phield snapped his fingers in satisfaction.

"Finally, let’s check the lord’s palace."

The so-called lord’s palace was actually just a city hall, with sleeping quarters on the second floor. It was nothing like a grand palace. Normally, a lord would only stay here during emergencies and would otherwise reside in their own manor or castle.

As they entered, just as Rosalia had said, the place was completely empty, not even a single silver item remained.

Phield looked at the vacant hall without much expectation and said, "Split up and search."

Everyone dispersed. Phield walked to the lord’s stone seat and examined it carefully, but found no mechanisms. He shook his head in disappointment.

"Figures. Not everyone is like my younger brother, hiding secret passages under their chair."

At that moment, Rosalia’s surprised voice came from the adjacent room.

"Huh? These stone golems weren’t taken away."

She ran over and called out excitedly, "Phield, come to the side hall. Looks like we didn’t come away empty-handed."

"For something to make you sound like that, it must be valuable."

He quickly stepped into the side hall. Six massive stone figures with granite textures stood on both sides, like silent guardians of the city.

Though covered in traces of corruption, they still exuded a powerful aura.

Even gold bars hadn’t excited Rosalia this much, yet the sight of these golems had her calling him immediately.

"These aren’t statues, they’re constructs. In that case, they must require magic cores to operate."

Even Phield was impressed.

"That’s right. Luckily my uncle didn’t have magic cores. If he had activated them to attack us, it would have taken quite some effort to deal with them. Their defense is extremely strong. Magic of the same tier is completely ineffective against them."

"They’re all Second Tier constructs."

Rosalia gracefully leapt onto one of the golems’ heads. Chains from the Greatsword of Gluttony extended out, clearing away the corruption clinging to them.

"These are called Magic Suppressing Stone Golems. They’re made by Divine Chosen from an empire west across the ocean called The Blue Dragon and the Magic Tower United Empire. They’re very rare. Each one originally cost twenty-eight thousand gold coins."

"That name is way too long." Ashina rubbed her forehead. "Human empires really have long names."

Phield chuckled and explained, "It’s actually just two major powers forming an alliance. One is the royal family that possesses the Blue Dragon, and the other is a mage organization. But that doesn’t matter to us."

"What matters is that anything made by Divine Chosen is top quality. These Second Tier stone golems will be very useful."

They were perfect for clearing out remaining corrupted corpses and transporting debris throughout the city, saving a tremendous amount of manpower.

"Good thing I brought magic cores."

Phield took out several Second Tier magic cores from his pouch.

He had seized an entire cart of them during the rebellion, but had never found a use for them.

After cleaning the corruption from the golems, he inserted the cores into their cores.

A low hum followed.

Like a device powering on, flames ignited in the golems’ eyes. When they saw Phield, the flames shifted from red to blue.

With the grinding sound of stone against stone, the golems slowly began to move. Small fragments of rock fell from their joints as they stirred, and in heavy, muffled voices, they asked, "Master, what are your orders?"
