Chapter 163: [163] : Atlas’s Stash, The Drive Home

Declan walked away from the jagged spatial tear.

The black rift snapped shut behind him, sealing the border between Sector 6 and Sector 7 perfectly.

The hissing wall of gray television static returned, completely cutting off the ruined staging ground of the corporate army.

He didn’t look back.

He didn’t care about the fleeing members of Titan Heavy Industries.

He had just crushed their Level 75 Guild Master into a bloody digital cube with a single gravity enhanced swing!

That was all the message they needed to understand who owned the server now.

He casually tossed the two heavy loot drives he had picked up into the air and caught them. They clinked together in his palm.

Morgan and Nova were standing exactly where he had left them on the dry cracked clay of the Shattered Expanse.

They were staring at him in complete and utter silence.

They had just watched a guy tear a physical hole in the server code and step into an unreleased military zone!

Not to mention he one shot a heavily armored Siege Commander and walked back out like he had just gone across the street to pick up a coffee!

"What are you two staring at?" Declan asked smoothly.

He walked past the elite corporate assassin and the top tier hacker.

He headed straight for the massive pitch black Abyssal Behemoth Rover hovering quietly over the ruined dirt.

"You just deleted the Guild Master of Titan Heavy Industries." Morgan finally managed to say.

She hurried to catch up with him, her boots crunching loudly on the dry clay.

"Declan, Atlas was one of the highest rated armor builds on the entire global server. People literally called him the Walking Bunker. He had millions of hit points in pure defense stats."

"His bunker got squished." Declan replied.

He didn’t even sound proud of it. He sounded entirely bored.

He placed his hand on the glowing purple interface panel on the side of the massive hover tank.

The heavy armored doors hissed open instantly, recognizing his unique administrative signature.

"Get in," Declan ordered as he gestured to the sleek leather interior.

"We have less than twenty four hours before the server merge drops that static wall permanently. I want to be sitting on my comfortable couch when the neighborhood goes to hell."

Nova didn’t argue.

She climbed into the back seat and strapped the heavy leather safety harness over her new silver tactical suit.

Morgan slid into the passenger side, keeping her hand resting casually near her combat knife out of pure professional habit.

Declan got into the driver’s seat.

He didn’t grab a steering wheel. There were no pedals.

He just connected his Sovereign Neural Interface directly to the vehicle’s core code!

The four blue anti gravity thrusters flared with intense light.

The massive machine shot forward like a railgun slug. It hit Mach 1 in less than three seconds!

The ruined wastelands of the Shattered Expanse blurred past the reinforced windows.

The +30 Rover possessed the Void Glider trait. It completely ignored terrain friction and all environmental hazards.

Declan didn’t even bother dodging the massive magma rivers or the jagged rock formations blocking the highway.

He just drove the heavy tank straight through them!

The dark matter hull phased through the physical obstacles effortlessly, treating solid rock like thin air.

"This vehicle is mathematically impossible." Nova muttered from the back seat.

She was staring down at her wrist terminal, watching the data streams go crazy.

"The inertia dampeners on this thing are rewriting the local physics engine in real time. We are moving at the speed of sound and my screen isn’t even vibrating. It feels like we are sitting perfectly still in a moving room."

"I have a very good mechanic." Declan smiled.

He didn’t need to keep his eyes on the road. The vehicle practically drove itself through his neural link.

He leaned back in his seat, pulled up his system interface, and placed the two heavy loot drives he had taken from Atlas onto his lap.

He wanted to see what a Level 75 Siege Commander carried in his pockets.

"System. Decrypt the drives." Declan commanded in his mind.

A thin blue scanning laser shot out from his eyes and swept over the two silver rectangles.

The high level corporate encryption locks shattered instantly under his Abyssal Sovereign authority!

[Item Recognized: Blueprint Titan Plasma Howitzer]

[Tier: Epic]

[Description: A massive base defense artillery cannon. Fires concentrated plasma shells that deal heavy area of effect elemental damage. Requires a Level 40 Artificer to construct. Requires raw iron and mana crystals for ammunition.]

"A plasma howitzer." Declan noted, reading the text floating in the cabin.

"Not bad. But Epic tier is basically vendor trash to me now. It won’t put a dent in a Level 100 boss."

He didn’t toss it out the window though.

Blueprints were raw data. And Declan’s SSS Rank talent loved raw data!

He could mold concepts into whatever he wanted.

"System." Declan said silently. "Apply Boundless Enhancement to the blueprint. Push it to plus twenty. Ignore all the safety warnings."

He had over forty million Origin Points sitting in his Warlord treasury. He had entirely bankrupted the Neon Syndicate earlier that day.

Spending a few million points to upgrade a piece of paper meant absolutely nothing to him.

The system chimes hammered rapidly inside his head.

[System Enhancement Initiated. Calculating cost...]

[Warning: Blueprint parameters exceeding maximum safety thresholds. Data corruption imminent. Severe structural failure guaranteed.]

[Cost for +1 to +20: 3,500,000 Origin Points.]

"Take the points." Declan ordered.

Three and a half million points vanished from his bank instantly.

A blinding white light erupted from the digital parchment in his lap!

The light was so bright it completely illuminated the dark cabin of the Rover, forcing Morgan to shield her eyes.

His Boundless Enhancement talent surged forward like a digital sledgehammer.

It violently crushed the system’s safety protocols, forcing the game engine to rewrite the physical limitations of the item code!

The glaring red warning boxes in his vision shattered into blue dust.

[Blueprint +10... +15... +20.]

[Triggering Conceptual Mutation...]

The white light shifted into a deep vibrating purple. The digital parchment physically changed.

It thickened, turning into a heavy slab of dark metal covered in glowing silver runes that hummed with a heavy frequency.

[Item Mutated: Blueprint Sovereign Void Artillery]

[Tier: Divine Anomaly] 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

[Functionality: A fully automated physics breaking siege cannon. Fires localized gravitational singularities instead of plasma. Ammunition requirements removed. Turret passively draws from the Sanctum Core’s infinite mana grid. Deals 500% true damage to all physical structures and armored targets.]

Declan laughed. It was a dark and ruthless sound that filled the quiet cabin.

"What did you just do?" Morgan asked, looking over at him from the passenger seat.

She had seen the blinding light. She knew he was hacking something right in front of them.

"I just solved our home defense problem." Declan smiled.

He tossed the heavy metal slab into his digital inventory. It vanished into a swirl of blue pixels.

He looked at the second loot drive resting on his knee.

[Item Recognized: Titan Heavy Industries Vault Key]

[Tier: Epic]

[Functionality: Grants remote access to the guild’s secondary raw material storage.]

Atlas hadn’t been carrying his main guild bank on him. He was a smart commander.

He knew better than to risk everything on the front line.

But a secondary storage vault for a massive mining corporation was still an absolute goldmine!

Declan tapped the key. He linked it directly to his global administrative panel.

"System. Remote access. Drain the vault and transfer everything to the Iron Bastion treasury."

The system interface flashed a bright confirming green.

[Remote Access Granted.]

[Bypassing Corporate Firewalls...]

[Transferring Items...]

[Received: 50,000 pounds of Raw Iron Ore.]

[Received: 10,000 pounds of High Grade Copper.]

[Received: 500 pounds of Volatile Void Ore.]

Declan’s eyes lit up. Five hundred pounds of Void Ore!

Jax and his scavenger team had risked their lives in a canyon just to mine ten pounds of the stuff!

Void Ore was the only metal capable of bypassing Abyssal monster armor.

It was the exact material Bram needed to forge high tier automated defenses that could actually kill the endgame horrors.

Titan Heavy Industries had done all the heavy lifting for him.

They had mined it, refined it, and stored it neatly just for him to steal.

"I really love corporate supply chains." Declan said happily.

"We are five minutes away from Sector 7." Nova reported from the back seat.

She was tracking their coordinates on her data pad.

"The environment is shifting back to the toxic slums."

Declan looked out the windshield. The cracked red clay of the Shattered Expanse was fading.

It was replaced by the dark oily rain and the ruined concrete buildings of Sector 7.

Right in the middle of the dark and smog choked city, a massive pillar of glowing purple light shot up into the sky.

It was the Iron Bastion. His ten kilometer megacity.

"Home sweet home." Declan muttered.

He gripped the dashboard and pushed the Rover’s thrusters to maximum capacity. It was time to build some big guns.
