Chapter 451: Removing the ban

A wave of gasps rippled through the courtroom.

Even the Sect Masters couldn't remain composed after hearing my revelation.

"Your Highness, I may be rude, but that is too absurd to be true," Titan spoke up in a polite tone.

"It would be quite inelegant if it were true," Tartaglia added, his face hidden behind a hand fan.

The others also voiced their concerns, with only Aurelion and Father remaining strangely silent, deeply contemplating my words.

"Taranis, you must have a solid foundation for this theory," Father said a moment later.

Well, I had just raised a question about our entire existence, so it was natural that they needed undeniable proof.

I didn't arrive at this conclusion immediately. First, the formation of a core in my body, something only non-humans possess, then the chains in my inner world, and finally the bizarre transformation with traits of some strange creature all led to this simple conclusion. Each transformation beginning from the forehead only further solidified my theory.

"To every Bane present in the courtroom, I ask you one question," I said in a louder tone. "How many shackles are present inside your Inner World?"

The members murmured among themselves, but all arrived at the same answer,

"Four."

Even the Sect Masters and Aurelion, who was a Demi-God, gave the same answer.

"I also used to have four," I revealed, my choice of words confusing everyone.

"You mean?" Father asked, his eyes narrowing.

"Two of my shackles, or to be more precise, two bans from my bloodline, have been lifted," I revealed, causing another shocked reaction in the courtroom. "Once all the shackles are removed, my true form will be revealed."

Most of those who had participated in the Second Ultimate War had witnessed my transformation into something else during the final battle. They could not deny my theory as strongly as before.

This time, Father and Aurelion showed the greatest shock. Upon reaching the Demi-God realm, they must have realized that they could temporarily suppress the shackles usign Divine Soulforce to access immense power. It was what Father did when he activated Soul Domain against Azhryx.

How much power could I access, having two shackles removed?

That must have been the question in their minds.

"When my second shackle was removed, I realized something," I continued before I could be bombarded with questions again. "But what I am about to share is extremely confidential. I request a private discussion with only the Eternal Sages present."

The members on the first floor did not like my proposal. I was about to reveal something about the Bloodline of Banes, and they had every right to learn of it. A protest was about to erupt, but before it could begin, Father ordered the courtroom to be emptied immediately.

"You must stay," I said as Nymeria was also about to leave.

"But I am not an Eternal Sage," she replied from the first floor, her voice carrying a hidden taunt.

"You are the Snow Goddess. That is more than enough reason for you to stay," I replied, my tone firm.

She gave me a sharp glare but eventually stayed. Her stare demanded to know whether I would have asked her to leave if she were not the Snow Goddess.

I was definitely in for a sulking session once I left the courtroom.

Within a few minutes, the courtroom was nearly empty, with only the three Beast Gods, the Sect Masters, both my parents and Nymeria's parents, and Master Robert remaining.

"What I was about to reveal is that I can now lift the ban from the bloodline of other Banes as well," I began and continued before anyone could interrupt. "Father, I think I can heal your dantian as well."

Everyone, including Father, remained with parted lips, their eyes wide with shock

"A-are you sure about this?" Father asked, his voice hesitant.

"Not completely," I shook my head. "But I at least want to try. It is similar to how I cured the Snow Goddess."

"Well, there is nothing to lose," Father replied, rising from the throne. The moment he did, all the Sect Masters also rose to their feet.

He descended the stairs and stopped before me.

"Similar to how he cured me," Nymeria murmured before blurting out,

"Taranis, there must be another way. You cannot kiss your father."

"…"

"…"

"..."

'This idiot,' I muttered inwardly, facepalming.

"Oy, what did you do with my daughter in the name of healing?" Aurelion demanded, appearing before me in the blink of an eye.

"Nymeria, that is not what I meant," I said, trying to resolve the immediate crisis. "I will use the mark on my forehead."

"Is that so?" She let out a sigh of relief before dropping another bomb. "Then why were you kissing me during healing—oh, I get it."

"…"

I lowered my gaze, a faint blush appearing on my face in embarrassment. Without even looking, I could feel the teasing smirks of everyone present in the courtroom.

"Y-you took advantage of her during—"

Aurelion was about to snap at me when his sleeve was tugged from behind.

"Do not create a scene in the courtroom. Behave yourself," Mother Lunaria said gently, a calm smile on her face.

Aurelion frowned as he looked at her. He then turned to Father, giving him a silent hint with his eyes.

"Lord Aurelion, return to your seat," Father ordered in a sharp tone.

Aurelion nodded before returning to his seat. This way, it would not appear that he backed down out of fear of Mother Lunaria. He was truly a piece of work.

Mother Lunaria turned to me and said with a wink, "Good job, son-in-law."

"H-haha," I chuckled awkwardly, now feeling even more embarrassed.

Once the chaos settled, I prepared myself to begin the treatment.

"You do not need to feel pressured," Father said with a gentle smile, tapping my shoulder. "It is alright if it does not work. I am already thinking of retiring."

I gave an awkward nod before standing face to face with him. By channeling a small amount of Soulforce into my heart, numerous colored veins emerged from the mark on my forehead and entered his body, as if they instinctively knew what to do.

After a few seconds, a blue aura began to emanate from Father's body. The Soulforce signature that had completely vanished after he lost his dantian reappeared.

A few more minutes passed, and a powerful surge of Soulforce pressure erupted, shaking the castle. The veins returned to my body, and the pressure slowly subsided.

"Incredible," Father murmured. "My dantian is healed, and two of my shackles are gone."

"Congratulations, Your Highness," the Sect Masters spoke in unison with a deep bow.

"Do not celebrate just yet," I said, turning to them. "I am going to remove the ban from all of you."
