Lucious refused to leave the room. No one argued. Everyone else teleported out and avoided the movie room. They gathered in the living area instead.

"Please tell me she’s going to make it!" Julius screamed, tears flowing from his eyes. "I can’t lose someone else this close to me!"

Rissa gently kissed his forehead.

"Hey, look at me. She’s going to be just fine. It’s Sora, Brie and Celeste. Is there anyone else in any universe you’d rather have with her right now?"

"You’re right. Sora’s probably linked with her too. Thanks beautiful. Love you." Julius said as he wiped some tears from his face. I’m still worried though."

"Love you too and we’re all worried." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

"Sora are you ok?"

"Yes, I’m breathing. I’d be dead if she flatlined. Figure out the problem and we’ll work through it. Stay calm everyone. Brie, keep using your ability and let’s get the baby out of Sera’s womb." Sora said, despite breathing heavily and wincing in pain.

Sweat dropped from Brie’s forehead as she continued to use her vampiric control to assist the baby’s movements.

"Celeste, Sera needs blood. Put Elven type O in an IV for her. I know she is already running 3, but she needs it. My mouth tastes funny. I’ve never felt anything like it." Sora managed to mutter.

Celeste placed them carefully in her arms and Sera’s body responded immediately. Brie continued working on the baby and saw what was causing the last of the major complications.

"Lucious didn’t cut cleanly through the umbilical cord, it’s double wrapped. She’s been trying to wiggle out of that and can’t."

Someone teleported inside the room.

"Xander?! What are you doing here?"

"Saving Sera. Uncle Lucious made a boo-boo. It’s ok, he’s nervous." Xander said as he elongated his nail and cleanly cut through the umbilical cord.

Sora screamed in pain.

"Sorry dad," Xander said as he put his hand on his shoulder. All of Sera’s pain started leaving Sora’s body.

"Xander, stop!" Sora ordered.

Xander stopped but fell to his knees and tipped to the ground. He used too much healing on Sora with no regard for his own well being but remained conscious and aware.

Sera screamed in pain as Sora disengaged the link. Brie heard the baby’s cries and pulled her out of Sera’s belly. She quickly maneuvered to the makeshift nurse’s station and Luscious followed right behind her.

Sora pulled potions from his dimensional void and began drinking them rapidly. He linked with Xander and poured one in Xander’s mouth. Xander smiled, "Thanks dad. Sorry about that!"

"Thanks for helping out. You did great."

The heavy tension evaporated from the room.

"22 inches, 9 lbs. Moonveil blue eyes, black hair. What did you two decide to name her?" Brie asked excitedly.

"Iris Moonveil." Lucious said with a booming smile. "Undecided on her middle name."

Sera coughed heavily before speaking. "Iris Anna Moonveil. What do you think, my love?"

"I think that was the scariest hour of my life and I’m really glad we have such a great extended family! I absolutely love the name. How are you feeling? What do you need?"

"My little Iris. Brianna, bring me my baby please."

"So that’s where you got the middle name! My momma. Smart!" Xander bragged.

"You’re such a smart kid!" Sera smiled.

Brie finished cleaning Iris with Celeste’s help. Xander opened a portal to the living room to show everyone the baby was happy and healthy.

"Sera is fine and Iris Anna Moonveil was born at 4:02 AM on January 19th, 7043." Brie said proudly as she brought Iris, who was still crying, over to her mom and dad.

"Awwww, who’s my pretty little baby? Look at those beautiful blue eyes!" Sera said in baby talk.

Xander walked over and gave Lucious a hug.

"Congratulations uncle Lucious! You’re proud parents to the first Vampire/Demon hybrid in existence! I’ve opened portals to almost every planet now. I haven’t seen anything similar on any of them!" Xander boasted. "At least in our galaxy!"

"Really? That’s amazing! Thank you so much little buddy. Go get some rest, it’s really late."

"Daddy will tuck you in. We’ll let Momma relax with Sera, Celeste and Iris."

Xander ignored his dad and walked up to Sera and put his hands on her belly. All of the cuts, bruising, scarring and blood disappeared and her belly looked completely normal again.

"Does that feel better Auntie Sera?" Xander asked cheerfully.

"Xander, you never cease to amaze me. I don’t even look like I was pregnant, let alone just in labor! I feel brand new. What did you do?" Sera asked in awe.

"I used Lockheart and Ditey skills to create my own. I think ’Xander Unleashed, name a spell and use it. This time I combined Lockheart healing magic, blood manipulation and used Nana Ditey’s regenerative healing magic and focused the magical energy on your body’s cells. This way the blood starts circulating like it’s supposed to." Xander explained.

"Can someone explain to me how this child turns one next month and can already create his own magical abilities that use vampire and demon blood arts?" Celeste said while laughing. "Not to mention he speaks like he’s in his teenage years."

The room burst out into laughter, which made Xander sad.

"Xander, they’re not laughing at you, love." Brie said as she squatted down and hugged him.

"They’re laughing because they’ve never seen anyone do something so amazing! You helped save two lives and you haven’t had your first birthday. I love you, go back to sleep. You can have a day free of studies tomorrow." Brie said while giving him several kisses on the forehead.

"Sorry Xandy! We didn’t mean to make you sad! If anything, we’re laughing because no one else on any planet can do what you just did!" Lucious cheered.

"That’s not true. I found Helen and Eris. They’re on their sixth planet. They have new, really mean skills they use and if we’re not prepared, they could kill us. They’re very mad that I tracked them down," Xander said with a frown.

"What do you mean they’re mad you found them? How were they able to see you? Normally they can’t see your portals or they can’t walk through them." Sera said as Iris finally latched onto her nipple. She quickly unlatched and cried.

Brie walked over with a bottle full of Elven blood. As soon as the bottom hit the baby’s lips, she stopped crying.

Lucious crawled in the large hospital bed with them.

"I’ll stay the night with the three of you."

"That’s not necessary Celeste. I can do it. You do too much, please rest."

"Thank you Brie, you’re a doll. I love you girl. You did great today!" Celeste said before teleporting to her room.

Xander waited patiently and finally answered Sera’s question. "They’re a lot more powerful now and I can sense their energy has grown stronger than my parents. I’m worried they’re going to sneak attack us." he said as he started crying.

"Brie, go, I got this. I love you." Sora said as he picked up Xander and gave him a big hug.

"Don’t worry about any of that. I’ll always protect you."

Xander allowed his dad to wipe his tears away while he thought about it.

"I’ve never seen you in battle..."

"Well it’s one of the most remarkable things I’ve ever seen, and I use shadow magic," Lucious boasted.

Brie grabbed Xander, teleported to his room and they talked for a few minutes before finally falling asleep together.

Sora sat in the room as Lucious, Sera and Iris fell asleep on the large hospital bed together.

’If I came to this planet as a half-god with SSS abilities and became this powerful... How powerful is Xander going to be?!’

Sora finally drifted off to sleep and the mansion fell silent.

"Alert! Alert! Alert! Titans, demons and werewolves coming from the southwest of the mansion. Estimated time of arrival: 15 minutes."

Sora had a decision to make. Who was going to stay behind and watch Mindy, Sera, Lucious, Iris and Xander?

Xander opened a portal to quickly scout the enemy forces. He wished he didn’t.

"I need to get momma and daddy right away. This isn’t good."
