Seeing this, Huo Sining’s heart was immediately gripped. From the man’s questioning earlier, it seemed that this woman was related to Ouyang Jun and might even know his whereabouts.

Gu Xu seemed to have noticed the issue too and hurriedly stopped Huo Sining from taking the next step.

After a brief inspection and some manipulation with tools on the woman’s body, the doctor turned pale, trembling as he informed the suited man:

"Sir, this gun wound is quite severe, along with many other injuries. If untreated, she won’t last the day..."

Hearing this, the burly man’s expression shifted drastically, while the suited man became fierce, cursing "fuck" and then glared angrily at the doctor, shouting:

"This person cannot die before being brought to Tranleva. Find a way to keep her alive. If she dies, you’ll accompany her in the grave!"

With this, the suited man surprisingly took out a handgun and fired several shots near the doctor’s feet.

With the sound of a few bangs, the doctor stared in shock, only coming to his senses after the gunshots ceased, fear filling his eyes, causing him to collapse in terror, his face pale, trembling all over.

Standing not far, Huo Sining and Gu Xu were also taken aback, having initially perceived the suited man’s sophisticated appearance, yet now witnessing his sudden resort to gunfire, realizing this hooked-nosed Mexican man’s unpredictable temperament, making him fit the role of a drug ring leader.

Overcome by fear, the doctor, still wanting to live, controlled his emotions despite trembling, injected anesthesia into the woman, then sliced open her abdomen with a scalpel and extracted the bullet lodged in her abdomen.

With a clink, the bullet was tossed into the tray.

The doctor quickly sutured the woman’s wound, pushed a handful of tablets into her mouth, and after completing these tasks, finally wiped the sweat from his brow, evidently scared.

Just as he was about to inform the suited man the woman was stable, another gunshot rang out, causing the doctor to roll his eyes in fright, passing out.
