Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster
Chapter 1014: Megatron?
The thought genuinely intrigued him. Did it work like that? Could it work like that? Rael had so many questions, and coincidentally, he was a being who could answer them all.
So for starters, Rael went ahead and manifested a simple construct. Except this time, due to him being in a pretty much invincible form, a new pop-up had appeared — a pop-up he didn’t expect in the slightest.
<Select how much of your power would you like to bestow to your construct.>
<...>
"Hmm... A lot?"
<Ding!>
<A lot = 20%>
<Description: With 20% of your power as a pure mortal, the construct would inherit the strength of a Grade 15.>
<Notice: Would you like to switch from Mortal → Ruler of Reality?>
There was a lot of shit he needed to unpack here, and for one, he knew that if he were to tick the box for Ruler of Reality, he might create a construct that could accidentally wipe out the entire multiverse with one sneeze.
That much, Rael could do currently in just his full-power mortal form. He could only imagine how much chaos he could cause in his current form. Was there even a scale he could set? Probably not, considering he could wipe out all of reality with the snap of a finger.
On that note, Rael decided to get a little creative.
"Give the construct double Gaia’s power. That should be enough," he said.
And of course, the system soon reacted, displaying something impressive.
<Ding!>
<Double Gaia’s Power = 188%>
Hmm?
Rael blinked once, then twice, making sure he was seeing it right.
Gaia’s full strength was 94% of his full strength as a mortal? The same strength that had managed to pierce through an entire cardinal direction with not more than a headache. She could match that? Really?
Well shit. I guess I really underestimated her.
Rael chuckled, then decided to move on to the more pressing matter.
<Notice: Would you like to switch from Mortal → Ruler of Reality?>
<Altered!>
<Would you like to use your Ruler of Reality powers to compensate for the lacking power to create this construct? Yes / No>
And that was all it took for Rael to finish the construct.
<Ding!>
<You’ve given birth to the first ever Construct in the universe to contain a trace of a Ruler of Reality.>
<The Construct’s power far surpasses anything in existence.>
<...>
<Reality bestows upon it the name: Cosmos.>
"Cosmos? Yeah, no." Rael sighed, and without hesitation, changed its name by force.
<You’ve denied reality.>
<You’ve named the Construct: Megatron.>
In the next instant, a pitch-black construct manifested. It had no face or form. If anything, it resembled the Ambassadors of Reality — the same people who would mercilessly turn a world into shit just for their own entertainment and sense of balance.
In that regard, this being was similar. It was tall, roughly two meters. Its body was slim, and it had not a single bit of muscle on it. On the flip side, though, Rael added some crimson eyes to it, as well as a mouth, which it could use to freely express itself.
Maybe?
"Where am I?" Megatron muttered, its eyes hazy and full of confusion.
Rael raised a brow. "You seem far different from all the other constructs I’ve created. Do you have some special traits, maybe?"
He would check the construct’s stats and such, but he felt like that was a hassle. He knew it was strong already, and that was all that counted.
"Traits? Ah... You’ve given me free will?" Megatron glanced at its hands. "Though a form such as this... It seems a mockery of my greatness."
Rael raised his brow once more. "Did I program you to have a massive-ass ego, or did you inherit it from one of the memories I’ve absorbed? That one guy with the messed-up beard had quite the bitchy attitude."
"..."
Megatron paused for a moment, contemplating Rael’s words.
"I’m sorry for my foolishness."
A lie.
"I don’t mean to disrespect my creator."
Another lie.
"And I—"
"Lie one more time and I’m going to stuff you back into the chocolate factory, bud. Be honest, or you’re useless to me. Now speak," Rael said. His smile was wide, yet menacing, and Megatron could obviously feel it.
So of course, he chose to no longer lie, since while he was powerful, he wasn’t so powerful as to be invincible.
"I apologize. I’ve inherited some personality traits that might not be the greatest, but I promise I won’t let it get in the way of what I need to do," Megatron said, then lowered his head slightly.
"So, Master. What is it that you want me to do? What is my purpose, Master?"
He was strangely obedient for someone so arrogant. Still, Rael appreciated the honesty at least, and so he gave Megatron one simple task.
"I’ll infuse a few memories into you. I want you to find this guy. He’s probably stronger than you, but I just want you to confirm his rough location so I can get rid of him," Rael said, and without a single bit of hesitation, he went ahead and gave Megatron a few memories relating to the incident as well as his purpose.
It took a few hours to infuse all of it and make sure the orders were clear enough. Though once he was finished, Megatron reopened his eyes. This time, they were far clearer, and even his powers seemed far greater, since alongside the memories also came a fair bit of experience.
And that experience was not only in fighting but in everything related to life and mortality. So now, even though his power was already astronomical, he had the experience to back it up.
Therefore, after taking everything into account, Megatron said:
"Very well. I need your skill that allows for sleep, since you forgot to include that feature when creating me. Sloth, I think it’s called? Give it to me, and I’ll be able to enter the Dream Realm and find what — and who — you’re looking for."
