“Aside from the Engineer civilization, other interstellar civilizations probably aren’t faring well either,” Qin Muye returned to the Floating City, suspecting that this situation had likely already spread throughout the cosmic, with the Engineers being the first to suffer, and other civilizations probably facing the same fate.

“Wait, is there a possibility that it’s a problem with the Sealing?”

“Hell? Not Hell Power?” Qin Muye said, decisively picking up the data report to check.

“The Engineer civilization is done for.”

“If the Pioneer Empire has also had an incident, then the Arachnis Worm Race probably isn’t faring too well either.”

“If that’s truly the case, it’s no wonder the cosmos is so deserted; probably everyone is too busy coping with their own crises to spare any effort on attacking Earth Planet,” Qin Muye realized.

“God gives me the feeling of being an intangible will roaming throughout the entire universe, just like Chaos Chaos.”

“I hope this group of Pioneer aliens will… leave me some legacy at least.”

“If that’s the case, it really is true that all things originated from Earth. The God residing in Eden Garden is probably not so simple…”

“All I can do is wish Cronos good luck, and hope he doesn’t run headlong into the barrel of a gun.”

“But when things are abnormally out of the ordinary, there must be a demon involved… unless God is about to awaken?”

“I just hope the Pioneer Empire can pull through, not asking for them to survive, just to leave some legacy for me.”

“Master, we’ve arrived at the Mother Star of the Pioneer Empire, but there’s a big problem…” Black Hand said with an odd expression: “There seems to be a Hell on their planet.”

After all, on Earth, Hell, although it had demonstrated the power to easily destroy human civilization, was all limited by a single small Sealing, even if this Sealing came from God…

After all, this world is the Horror Universe, not a science fiction universe; it’s not the main character, and they have very little to do with horror. The real main character should be Hell.

Roughly, it’s about God descending in wrath, destroying the Nobles, and making them live anew within Eden Garden…

It’s not that there aren’t any remnants; he remembered that there are relics of the Engineers on some planet in Prometheus and Alien Covenant, as well as the existence of aliens, but the problem is he didn’t know the location of that planet.

The Sealing known as civilization; indeed, human civilization qualifies, but what if other extraterrestrial civilizations are also part of civilization?

Hell and Hell Power carry distinctly different meanings.

And then naturally, the choice was to go to the Pioneer Empire.

Otherwise, how would it be thrilling?

Communicating with the Divine King, relying on emotional manipulation isn’t much of a good thing, it has to be done through mutual exchange of interests, or else you might dig your own grave.

Jason, let alone slaughtering through the Iron Blood Civilization, even slaughtering through human civilization was tough, yet he somehow managed to do it.

In the Horror Universe, four major interstellar civilizations: one is dead, one is ruined, and the remaining two are not likely to fare any better.

Just like Jason slaughtering the Iron Blood Civilization, it’s in itself a rather strange occurrence.

Even if it’s one stab per person, it would still take a lot of time to slash down each one. Even with Instant Teleportation, wouldn’t the other Iron Blood Warriors have left? He really let him create a field littered with corpses.

What was seen was not a technologically advanced society, but a backward one to the extreme, with religious beliefs at its core, an artistic kind of world.

But in this Horror Universe, Qin Muye didn’t have this feeling, always sensing as if an invisible net was closing in on him.

Two days ago, he had drained all the Resources from the Iron-blooded Civilization’s Mother Star, then used the spatial coordinates to reach the Mother Star of the Engineer civilization.

The former represents a source, while the latter is a derivative, and they possess different levels of strength.

Qin Muye couldn’t help but think of the second-generation God King Cronos, who triumphantly advanced through Hell, defeating all of Hell until it was in disarray, and continually expanded his own Hell Divine System, even distributing authority to create a multitude of Divines.

Qin Muye’s expression turned sour. Other people’s insults he could return with a smile, after all, insults didn’t cost him a chunk of flesh; but witnessing the devout demeanor of these small white Giants dressed in sackcloth really set him off.

Qin Muye now felt like grabbing the items and making a quick escape, as staying here was out of the question— even a fairy tale world was safer than the Horror Universe. There, although he had Zeus’s attention, at least he had Gaia, Hades, and others around, so he didn’t have to worry about being blindsided.

Qin Muye knew that Earth was dangerous, but the cosmos was even more so, and it had become dangerous because of Earth.

Human civilization is like a prison guard, ensuring that the Lord of Hell remains eternally trapped within his own Hell, while other extraterrestrial civilizations are part of this Sealing, becoming expendables, which is why they are allowed to evolve, providing the energy needed for the sealing.

That such a vast interstellar civilization had become nothing but a group that worships gods all day long, yet remaining undetected by other civilizations, caused Qin Muye’s heart to feel a chill.

Although Jason’s infinite resurrection and Instant Teleportation, fused with nano-technology into the X form, made him very powerful, comparable to Level 6, it’s not reason enough for him to singlehandedly cut through the entire Iron Blood Civilization.

So, once he finds the Pioneer Empire, Qin Muye has to grab what he can and make a run for it. At the very least, he needs to rest in the fairy tale world first.

Therefore, there is a significant logical problem here, not only with the Iron Blood Civilization but also the Engineer civilization.

He suspected it might be in one of the Hells, so he gave only a nod to Cronos, asking him to keep an eye out if he encountered it and promised a generous reward in return.

He could be sure that the transformation of the Engineer civilization was definitely related to Hell Power; the pyramids alone suggested an attempt to replicate the entrance to some Hell.

He also tried to ask the Lamp God to grant a wish for the coordinates of the planet left behind by the Engineer civilization’s spacecraft, but the Lamp God couldn’t achieve this, as if it wasn’t part of this world, but in some other world entirely.

He had asked what caused the Engineer civilization to become like this, and all he got were diversionary mythological stories.

He could never understand how Hell, though sealed, could still have such a far-reaching influence.

The Iron Blood Civilization also had pyramids, similar in kind but crafted more delicately, probably a result of technological influence.

Hearing the words Eden Garden, Qin Muye felt his face darken, perceiving that Hell was intentionally destroying other interstellar civilizations.

First, the Iron Blood Civilization had been wiped out by that bastard Jason, then the Engineer civilization’s technological level was completely reconstructed, now just a bunch of artists who worshiped gods all day, utterly valueless, with even their tech tree vanished.

To completely cut off technology and forcefully convert to a religious mythological civilization would require hundreds or even thousands of years; otherwise, the traces couldn’t be so cleanly erased.

Under real circumstances, other interstellar civilizations would have either domesticated them by now or would have persecuted them severely to uncover their technology.

One thing to know is, if there’s a real intention to suppress the development of extraterrestrial civilizations, there’s no need to wait until they are powerful before dealing with them. There would have been countless opportunities over tens of thousands of years to interrupt their civilization’s progression, rather than the current, more effort-consuming method.

From this, it can be deduced that Hell’s power, though sealed on Earth, spreads throughout the universe like a plague, pervading all civilizations.

Why not simply kill them if they have the power to destroy their technology? Instead, much effort is taken to erase all traces of technology, forcing them back into a religious feudal civilization with no room for technological existence, focusing solely on artistic development.

After spending three days in the Engineer civilization and searching for several more, Qin Muye found nothing of value.

It’s a top-tier civilization; there’s no way other civilizations wouldn’t be tempted.

This really gave Qin Muye a major headache.

All that remains of the Engineer civilization now are numerous reliefs, statues, pyramids, and paintings, which according to his aesthetic inherited from the Titan Divine Race, are all top-notch. However, as beautiful as they are, they hold no value for him.

Talk about being unscientific? Horror Universe has never been about science; Hell has always been an unscientific existence.

As for how or why the Engineer civilization fell, absolutely no one knows; it’s been updated and iterated for who knows how long.
