X-ray Eyes Little Wild Doctor-Chapter 238 - 233: The Wang Family is in Mourning
Chapter 238: Chapter 233: The Wang Family is in Mourning
Xiao Feng’s upper half was suspended in mid-air, the winds at high altitudes howled relentlessly, blowing until his tears streamed down. The sensation of being upside down was too unbearable. He was both dizzy and scared, blurting out anything and everything, no longer daring to conceal the truth.
"It was all me, all my fault. I was the one who fired Gu Lei and the others. It’s all my fault, Captain Ye, oh no, Grandpa Ye, Ancestor Ye, please pull me up quickly. I have high blood pressure, I don’t want to die, boo hoo hoo..."
He knew Ye Tian’s abilities better than anyone else; this guy was the Unrivaled Demon King, someone he simply couldn’t afford to provoke. He had thought Ye Tian was dead, but who could have expected this guy to suddenly appear? He truly wanted to cry but had no tears. Had he known this would happen, he would never have dared to fire Gu Lei. The guy was Ye Tian’s good friend; even with the biggest guts, he wouldn’t have dared to mess around.
"At least you know what’s good for you!" Ye Tian gave a strong tug, and Xiao Feng’s plump body was pulled back into the room, falling to the floor like a pancake, a true acquaintance-maker.
Ye Tian sat in Xiao Feng’s boss chair, just in time to see the resignation letter in the drawer. He smashed it squarely on Xiao Feng’s face, cursing, "I’m giving you one day. However you drove them away, that’s how you’ll bring them back to me. If Gu Lei doesn’t return, heh heh, then you can stop working too, and go home to babysit."
"I’ll call them right now, notify them to come back immediately, rest assured." Xiao Feng scurried out of the office, asking the elders for Gu Lei’s phone number.
"So you do have some insight," Ye Tian snorted coldly.
Just as Xiao Feng had barely stepped out, that hot-headed youngster staggered in, yelling, "Uncle, did you fire that guy?"
All of a sudden, seeing the person sitting in the chair wasn’t his uncle but that annoying jerk, the hot-headed youngster instantly got mad and began to curse at Ye Tian.
"You bastard, rebelling against the heavens! Is this a place for you to sit?"
Ye Tian chuckled coldly, "It’s just a chair, so what if I sit here? What’s it to you?"
"Fuck, you even think you’re in the right!" The hot-headed youngster went to grab Ye Tian’s collar, but with a light flick on his wrist from Ye Tian, he was suddenly shaken and fell to the ground.
"Quite the temper you have there, learned a lesson yet?" Ye Tian looked at him with a smile that wasn’t quite a smile.
"You dare to hit me, do you know who I am? I’ll make you pay with your life!" The hot-headed youngster sprang up from the ground, fists swinging wildly without any technique, no different from a street thug.
Ye Tian chuckled coldly, easily dodging his fists. With a flick of his finger, he sent a cigarette butt flying, hitting the youngster right in the face, scalding him and making him cry out, nearly on the verge of tears.
Just then, a plump figure entered the door, panting and cautious, afraid to offend the fierce god in the office. Otherwise, he’d really be in big trouble.
Out of breath, Xiao Feng walked in to see his nephew in pain, cursing and snarling, then looked at the fierce god who didn’t seem bothered, the sides of his mouth adorned with a playful smile.
Being a seasoned office politician, he could immediately tell what had happened without having to ask. His nephew, who couldn’t see the bigger picture, had offended that fierce god. Of all people to offend, it had to be him, just asking for trouble. Xiao Feng’s face turned blue with anger.
The hot-headed youngster, still wanting to flare up, suddenly saw his uncle and immediately felt he had backup.
He hurried over to Xiao Feng and said, "Uncle, it’s this guy, he was late for work just now, now he dares to sit in your chair, and he even hit me. Fire him! Fire him now!"
"Shut up!" Xiao Feng turned a steely shade of blue.
He cursed inside that his nephew was utterly useless, adding chaos for him. If that man were to take advantage of the situation, it would be the end of him. Everybody in the company from top to bottom knew about Ye Tian’s relationship with the boss, firing him would be as easy as saying a word, let alone dealing with his worthless nephew.
With an indifferent smile, Ye Tian said, "Minister Xiao, you sure are something, aren’t you? Why don’t you try firing me?"
"No, no, no, just look at what you’re saying. Even if you lent me the guts, I wouldn’t dare."
Xiao Feng glared at his nephew, signaling him to get lost and stop causing trouble, then scuttled over to Ye Tian and said, "I’ve already called Gu Lei just now, he said he’ll return to work tomorrow. Captain Ye, does that work for you?" freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
"That’s passable," Ye Tian shrugged his shoulders, pulling out a cigarette from his pocket.
Xiao Feng promptly presented a lighter and respectfully lit Ye Tian’s cigarette, smiling from ear to ear, "Captain Ye, it was all my fault before, I’m not a man, I’m a beast. Please have mercy and don’t hold a grudge against me, okay?"
Seeing his uncle’s actions, the hot-headed youngster was dumbfounded, wondering what was going on. Wasn’t his uncle the Head of Security? Why was he groveling before this little security guard? Could it be, could it be that this guy was even more formidable than his uncle, that he had all along been pretending to be weak? This was definitely the case, and now he had made a huge mistake.
Ye Tian gazed at the hot-headed youngster, commenting indifferently, "Heh, seems just now someone wanted to fire me if I’m not mistaken."
At that moment, Xiao Feng bellowed, "You uneducated deadbeat, get down and apologize to Captain Ye right now, or I’ll hit you!"
The greenhorn finally understood and hurriedly served Ye Tian tea, begging for his forgiveness.
Ye Tian snorted coldly, "That’s enough, I don’t think you’re cut out to be a security guard. Go do whatever you’re supposed to do. Yun Corporation does not welcome you. Seek employment elsewhere."
Hearing this, the greenhorn collapsed to the ground with a thud.
Xiao Feng sighed inwardly, he was powerless to help. The sudden arrival of Ye Tian had caught him completely off guard. What was more, he knew that Ye Tian had a deep connection with the president and the entire corporation was in his hands. Dismissing himself was a matter of a single word from Ye Tian, let alone berating himself, his wayward nephew.
"Xiaoyong, your uncle will find you another job later. You don’t need to come to work anymore," Xiao Feng told the greenhorn.
"So righteous in severing family ties, Director Xiao. Really impressive. Heh, alright, you continue talking. I’m leaving." As Ye Tian swaggered out the door, he added, "Oh right, the door’s broken. You get someone to fix it, just report the cost to finance."
Xiao Feng was a shrewd man and knew that Ye Tian had left him some dignity and had not fired him. That very day, he sent Xiaoyong and Erni back to their hometown. Both kids were used to being pampered and were indeed unsuitable for a security guard or receptionist. The next day, he called back Gu Lei and his people.
After sending the formidable Ye Tian away, Xiao Feng sat in his chair in a daze, sensing that without Yun Feng’s support, he could no longer maintain his position as a director. It was just a matter of time before he would be removed, so he might as well take the initiative.
Without hesitation, Xiao Feng immediately found Yun Xinyan and handed in his resignation letter.
"I know that the relationship between the president and Captain Ye is profound, and I’m also aware that I’m not very capable. The position of security director is ultimately meant for Captain Ye. A prolonged pain is worse than a short one, so I choose to resign," Xiao Feng said in front of Yun Xinyan.
Yun Xinyan’s expression remained unchanged, showing no surprise as she handed back his resignation letter, "I was actually about to look for you. Here is your appointment letter. I suggest you read this before deciding whether to leave the corporation or not."
With a nervous heart, Xiao Feng opened the appointment letter, which read: "Ye Tian to serve as the security director of the company, with Xiao Feng serving as the deputy director. Assist Ye Tian in strengthening the company’s security management."
"This..." Xiao Feng was stunned.
"You’re certainly not up to the task of director, as your abilities are limited. However, I believe you’re capable of being the deputy director. Don’t you agree, Deputy Director Xiao?" Yun Xinyan said with a smile.
Xiao Feng now understood he had misjudged Yun President’s intentions. The president had already made arrangements and had no intention of firing him but had other plans for reuse. The treatment for the deputy director and director was almost the same. Although he was stepping back from the front line, his job was still good.
"Thank you for your recognition, President Yun. I will definitely work hard and not mess around anymore."
"Then that’s settled. You may go now."
After Xiao Feng left, Ye Tian emerged from behind and patted Yun Xinyan on the shoulder, "My dear wife, you are truly formidable. Xiao Feng will surely be loyal and grateful from now on. You’re just like an old fox."
"So you’ve seen through it all. It seems you’re the old fox," Yun Xinyan said with a smile.
"This old fox just loves to eat such a fox spirit like you, heh heh. Let this fox give you a kiss." Chuckling, Ye Tian took Yun Xinyan’s face in his hands and gave it a firm bite, exclaiming, "Tsk tsk tsk, such a fox spirit, bewitchingly deadly."
"Stop messing around. This is the office, not our home. Can’t you act a bit more decorous?" Yun Xinyan pushed him away.
"What’s there to worry about? Everyone knows about our relationship anyway," Ye Tian lifted Yun Xinyan’s chin and smacked his lips," You still owe me a round from last night; you have to make up for it now."
"Ah! Don’t!"

As Ye Tian and Yun Xinyan engaged in their office skirmish, a Bentley slowly drove into the Wang Family’s estate in Jiang City.
If Ye Tian had seen the license plate of this Bentley, he would have been shocked to find that it was the very car that Wang Qian used to drive when he was alive. Ye Tian had ordered that the car be disposed of, but somehow, it had turned up at the entrance of the estate.
The costly Bentley quietly drove into the estate. Unlike usual, the car was adorned with large white flowers on all sides, and the word "Condolence" was placed prominently on the hood.
The Bentley stopped in front of a villa deep within the estate. The driver, dressed in black mourning clothes, respectfully got out and opened the car door. Six young men dressed in formal attire carefully carried a heavy brass coffin out of the car. Inside the coffin lay the young master of the Wang Family, Wang Qian.
It was said that Wang Qian’s body had been run over by a truck, rendering it a bloody, mangled mess. The Wang family had spent several hours piecing it together, though a finger was still missing, leaving the corpse incomplete.
