Wrong Love, Final Goodbye: She'll Never Look Back-Chapter 361: Old Master Sinclair Has Passed Away
After dropping off the two children at school, Tanya Sinclair was planning to return to the old house when she received a phone call from Uncle Vance at the nursing home.
Tanya Sinclair felt a surge of unease in her heart.
Uncle Vance had been staying at the nursing home to care for Grandpa. He wouldn’t call unless it was something urgent...
Tanya Sinclair picked up the phone: "Hello, Uncle Vance. What’s wrong?"
"Miss, please come to the nursing home. Old Master is awake and wants to see you..." Uncle Vance paused, his tone neither joyful nor excited, but carried a hint of suppressed sobbing, "Miss, you... should mentally prepare yourself."
Tanya Sinclair immediately understood.
Grandpa’s awakening was, in another sense, a fleeting return to consciousness before passing.
She opened her mouth, but no sound came out.
"Miss?" Uncle Vance couldn’t hear a response and sounded worried.
Tanya Sinclair gripped the steering wheel tightly, exhaling shakily: "I understand. I’m on my way now."
On the drive there, Tanya Sinclair kept her eyes fixed on the road ahead, her eyes faintly red as she fought back tears.
By the time she arrived at the nursing home, she felt surprisingly calm.
Uncle Vance was waiting for her at the door, his eyes somewhat swollen, as if he’d been through a round of tears. Seeing Tanya Sinclair get out of the car and walk over, Uncle Vance called out, "Miss."
Tanya Sinclair nodded slightly, patting Uncle Vance’s shoulder. The two walked together to Old Master Sinclair’s room.
Uncle Vance didn’t accompany Tanya Sinclair inside.
"Miss, Old Master only wants to see you alone. He said he has something to tell you in private. I’ll be outside, ensuring that there are no disturbances."
Tanya Sinclair pushed the door open and entered the room alone.
Grandpa Horace Sinclair was sitting up in bed, looking quite healthy. He was holding a photo album and flipping through it.
Tanya Sinclair walked over slowly and saw that Grandpa was looking at old photos, from when everyone was still there...
"Grandpa." Tanya Sinclair called out softly, sitting beside Horace Sinclair.
Horace Sinclair didn’t look up, he just gently brushed the photo of the young Tanya with his aged hands, then slowly raised his eyes to the grown-up granddaughter before him, tears welling up in his murky eyes. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Horace Sinclair: "Our little princess, you’ve grown up so quickly..."
Tanya Sinclair felt an intense ache in her nose.
"Grandpa..."
Horace Sinclair looked at her with eyes full of love, just like before.
"Tanya, I heard from Uncle Vance that you bought back the old house. So, you... you’ve seen your grandma, haven’t you?"
Tanya Sinclair’s eyes trembled, "Grandpa, I saw her. But Grandma, she..."
"Isn’t she beautiful?" Horace Sinclair smiled slightly, his eyes lighting up, emitting a glow of near-obsessive love, "Iris, she’s been gone for so long... I tried so hard to awaken her, but to no avail. I could only preserve her at her most beautiful..."
Tanya Sinclair felt her whole body’s blood boiling over, she clasped Horace Sinclair’s hand tightly with trembling fingers.
"Grandpa... tell me, how did you manage to preserve Grandma’s lifelike appearance..."
Horace Sinclair’s gaze slowly focused on Tanya Sinclair’s face.
His voice was aged and trembled slightly, "Declan achieved it... he brought you back. But I didn’t bring back my beloved..."
Tanya Sinclair’s pupils trembled hard.
"Grandpa, you knew all along, didn’t you?"
Horace Sinclair smiled weakly, "Tanya, that madman Declan... he loved you for two lifetimes."

Phoenix Court.
Declan Pierce lay on the blood-red sofa, his shockingly handsome face coupled with his overly pale skin made him look like an elegantly perfect vampire.
He lazily rested one hand to the side, allowing the solemn-faced Dr. Wells to draw his blood.
A small tube of fresh blood was carefully stored away in a case.
Dr. Wells looked at Declan Pierce, who was lazily lounging, eyes closed in feigned sleep, and frowned, "Mr. Pierce, I’ll stay around and once you’re done with your current tasks, I’ll take you back to prepare for the surgery!"
Declan Pierce’s lips twitched with a nonchalant smile, "OK. But I’m not picking up the tab for your personal wishes."
Dr. Wells frowned even tighter, "Mr. Pierce, I’m not joking with you. You’re my most special patient and I must be responsible for you..."
Declan Pierce slowly opened his eyes, raised his hand, and brought it up to his face.
Dr. Wells’s face changed slightly, "Mr. Pierce, your eyes..."
Declan Pierce responded blandly, "As long as I increase the dosage, I’ll still be able to maintain normal vision during this time, right?"
Dr. Wells spoke with a solemn expression, "But if you stop the medication, your vision will deteriorate even quicker! Moreover, the medication’s suppression wouldn’t last more than 28 days..."
Declan Pierce twitched his lips, "That’s enough."
Dr. Wells sighed helplessly, started to say something more, but Janne Hayes knocked and entered.
"President Pierce, something happened at the nursing home." Janne Hayes’s face was slightly pale, as she reported in a low voice, "Old Master Sinclair... he passed away."
Declan Pierce’s gaze dimmed a lot, his thin lips pressed tightly together, and after a moment, he asked, "Did she... get there?"
Janne Hayes understood whom this "she" referred to.
"Yes, Ms. Sinclair arrived half an hour ago. She was in the room alone with Old Master Sinclair before he passed, accompanying him in his final moments..."
