Wrong Love, Final Goodbye: She'll Never Look Back-Chapter 307: Declan Pierce Comes Knocking
’Bang——’ Vincent Hawthorne slammed the half-drunk glass of wine against the opposite wall.
The glass shattered into pieces, like blood.
The room was so silent that only the sound of his heavy breathing could be heard.
He saw it.
The man who escorted Caden upstairs was Declan Pierce.
If, at the beginning, Vincent had some luck, until just now, he saw with his own eyes Declan Pierce passionately kissing Tanya in a secluded place!
Tanya’s shy demeanor used to belong only to him!
She had really fallen in love with another man and decisively abandoned him without looking back!
Vincent’s eyes were bloodshot, an unprecedented jealousy seems to grip his heart and throw it into a furnace; he frowned, placing a hand over his vaguely aching stomach.
Declan Pierce...
The way he looked at Tanya was always impure!
He had always overlooked this!
He had thought that Julian Poole was the main concern, but he never expected Declan, that bastard, to really take advantage of the opportunity!
’Ding dong, ding dong——’
The doorbell rang at this moment.
Vincent, feeling a bit annoyed, had just bought this apartment yesterday, and the only person who knew was his assistant, Jonah Rivers, who handled the paperwork for him.
It should be Jonah bringing him something.
Vincent walked over, directly opened the door, but upon seeing the person standing outside, his expression changed drastically.
"How did you know I was here?"
Uninvited at the door was Declan Pierce.
"Aren’t you going to invite me in for a chat, Mr. Hawthorne?" Declan posed a question instead of answering.
Though his tone was calm, the pressure between his brows and eyes was intimidating, with a strong presence.
Vincent furrowed his brow tightly, stared at Declan for a few seconds, and eventually let him in.
Declan glanced at the broken glass and wine stains on the floor, then sat on the sofa casually. Despite his casual posture, he exuded a dominating aura.
Vincent had met many notable people, but very few could match the presence of the man before him.
"Since you could find out where I am living, you should be aware of my intentions." Vincent began bluntly with Declan, "Tanya and I have been entangled for half a lifetime and have two children. You should know better than anyone how much she loves me."
Vincent smiled reminiscently, "During university, I heard Tanya mention you. She said you were the person she disliked the most in class. You must have liked Tanya since then, right? Ha, who would’ve thought that Second Young Master Pierce is such a romantic."
"But you might be disappointed. Tanya and I had some misunderstandings which led to the divorce." Vincent poured Declan a cup of water, smiling, "Tanya has loved me for so many years, after the divorce, she might have acted on impulse to find someone to relieve her loneliness. You’re just her comfort, my temporary replacement, that’s all."
Vincent had already guessed the story between Declan and Tanya.
Nothing more than his long-time secret love for Tanya, and now, coincidentally finding them divorced, the poor boy transformed into the illegitimate child of The Pierce Family, thus becoming interested in spending money and time to please a lonely, divorced woman.
Vincent smirked without humor, "Declan, Tanya and I are inseparable for a lifetime. She loves me the most, and we even have two children together. She’s angry at me now, but when her anger subsides, she’ll naturally see her heart! Her heart, from beginning to end, has only ever had me, Vincent Hawthorne!"
Remembering the scene of Declan and Tanya kissing earlier, Vincent secretly tightened his grip on the glass in his hand, suddenly letting out an ambiguously low laugh, boasting, "Of course, not only is her heart mine, but she herself, from head to toe, belongs completely to me."
It’s just a kiss!
What he had with Tanya was much more!
He wanted Declan to know that he, Vincent Hawthorne, was Tanya Sinclair’s first man, the only one to fully have Tanya!
Vincent stared intently at Declan, darkly hoping to see a look of jealousy on Declan’s face.
But Declan merely looked at him coldly as if watching a clown.
He chuckled, "I thought you could at least offer some proof that you and Tanya were really in love. But besides what’s inside your pants, do you have anything else to say?" Declan sneered, "A man like you, being loved by Tanya Sinclair, is your three lifetimes’ fortune and your ancestors’ virtue."
"Declan!" Vincent clenched his fist tightly.
Declan leisurely stood up, and with his rising stature, an invisible pressure followed.
He said coldly, word by word, "Vincent Hawthorne, if I see you entangling Tanya Sinclair again, I’ll destroy you!"
