Working as a police officer in Mexico-Chapter 446 - 307: Black Hawk Down!
"According to CIA intelligence, the target Victor is hiding in a town called Aumada," find him, kill him! Once the mission is over, as originally planned, Seabird and Seahawk will enter from the Northern low altitude, and Apache will provide fire support. We don’t want to get bogged down in battle. After a successful decapitation, the Humvee convoy from La Coahuila State will escort us out. I brought you here, and I’ll bring you all back!" Lieutenant Colonel Tom Mattis looked at them with a sharp gaze.
Whether SEAL Team Six or the Rangers, they all nodded.
"Gentlemen, I’m heading back to camp for breakfast!" A black Major shouted with his hand raised, and this confident statement made the U.S. soldiers cheer and leap for joy.
As if...
It was a piece of cake.
The United States never took Mexico seriously.
As the helicopter formation flew over the crest of a hill, they failed to notice a squad of the Northern Army lying on the slope below, wrapped in camouflage and faces painted in camo. You couldn’t even see them clearly in broad daylight, let alone at night.
Buzz buzz buzz—
The planes flew over their heads toward Aumada Town.
The Northern Army on the hilltop gripped their walkie-talkie, "The prey has arrived."
Eight U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawks infiltrated from both sides. One group, led by Commander Lieutenant Colonel Tom Mattis, was responsible for ground infiltration. The other was setting up perimeter security, waiting for the Humvee convoy to arrive.
"We’ve found it!" the pilot shouted. Tom Mattis came over and saw a car parked next to a house with a large "X" painted on the roof, a sign set up by an informer.
"Land! Land!" he patted the pilot on the shoulder.
At 2:47 pm, the first Black Hawk had just set down 10 Special Combat Team members and was about to take off again when suddenly, they saw a beam of intense light coming toward them.
Piercing through the windshield, it shot straight into their eyes!
The pilot’s pupils contracted instinctively. After a few seconds, as he adjusted, he suddenly spotted a twin-barreled 14.5mm anti-aircraft ZPU-2 machine gun concealed on a building of the same height!
Level it!
He could even see the gleeful look in the eyes of the man operating it.
"NO!!!!" The pilot screamed in terror, frantically pulling up the control stick trying to take off, but he completely forgot that not everyone was off the helicopter yet. One Ranger was especially unlucky; his leg hadn’t quite jumped clear when the helicopter began to ascend, hooking his pant leg and lifting him over a meter off the ground before he crumpled headfirst to the earth.
His face caved in!
Lying on the ground, blood seeped from his head…
"Die!"
Tatatat...
The anti-aircraft gun sprayed bullets at the Black Hawk in mid-air!
A rate of fire of a hundred rounds a minute at such close range—and even if the Black Hawk’s windows were bulletproof, it wouldn’t withstand this. Discover exclusive tales on novelbuddy
After being shattered, the pilot inside was torn to pieces!
The seat behind him was turned into "confetti."
Bang—

A loud explosion turned it into a fireball mid-air.
The other three Black Hawks didn’t have it easy either. One had its rotor blades blown apart and ground to a hard landing like a butterfly with its wings broken, scraping along the ground for a distance.
The other two, realizing the situation was dire, fled fast, scattering to both sides, encircling and opening fire with their machine guns toward the rooftop!
Bullets flew everywhere for a while.
"F***ing hell!" Lieutenant Colonel Tom Mattis cursed, pulling out his radio to call the Humvee team, but the signal was intermittent, barely audible. He cursed again and led his team to rescue their fallen comrades.
Pulling a SEAL team member covered in blood from the inside, he slapped his face but got no response.
Just as he was about to pull out the second.
"RPG! Get down, get down!!"
One team member screamed, waving his hands frantically at him.
Tom Mattis turned around just in time to see a member of the Northern Army in a shop firing a rocket launcher at them!
He felt the tail fin of the rocket graze his cheek, the burning pain hadn’t yet reached his brain when the massive shockwave behind him threw him into the air. The RPG hitting the Black Hawk’s debris in midair sliced through his neck.
"Captain, Captain..."
A teammate ran over in panic, digging gauze out of his shirt pocket and pressing it against his neck, but the bandage was soaked red immediately...
Tom Mattis grabbed his comrade’s shoulder patch fiercely, "Get... home..."
He managed only a few words before he died.
This soldier, who had been decorated for his service in the Vietnam War and the Panama conflict, was now a casualty.
Special Forces...
Are not gods.
If they didn’t die after being blown up, that would actually be the joke.
Everyone is just a bullet away from death.
In a private room at The Pentagon, the atmosphere suddenly turned silent.
The images transmitted from the scene left the Defense Minister Richard Bruce Cheney, U.S. Army Chief of Staff General Carl Vorno, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff LeBron Andre speechless.
Well, there goes the frontline commander, KIA.
"Our intelligence has been leaked!" Admiral Carl Vorno suddenly looked up and exclaimed loudly.
LeBron Andre’s face was stern, never in his wildest dreams had he imagined the situation turning out like this. Looking at Richard Bruce Cheney, "Mission over. This was a trap set for the U.S. Military. Immediately order aerial support to assist the ground forces in reaching the firefight ASAP. If... if they’re all KIA..."
He didn’t finish his sentence, but they all understood—if the operation was a failure and they all died, the three of them might as well go man the gates!
