Hearing the alarm, Robbin showed no reaction.

He remained fully focused on the ongoing experiment in front of him, and seeing this, the other panicked staff around him gradually calmed down and returned to their workstations.

Although no one anticipated an attack on the building, the Tertiary Headquarters in Buzhou Mountain was equipped with an extremely advanced and comprehensive security system from its inception.

Laboratories No. 1 and No. 2 are the utmost priority within this security system.

Both of these labs lack windows, have independent ventilation systems, and are enclosed by thick granite and titanium alloy, even capable of withstanding nuclear attacks.

Moreover, Robbin had great confidence in the two rows of Terracotta Warriors in the corridor outside.

Even among the Tertiary's internal staff, few knew that those two rows of Terracotta Warriors were the true Guardians of the entire building.

Compared to them, that mythical creature in the mural on the first floor was no different from a small kitten.

Even if the attackers could evade the creature's attack, there was no way they could pass through the corridor outside the third layer.

Still, Robbin was somewhat curious about who would be so bold as to attack the Tertiary Headquarters.

So after the experiment reached a stopping point, Robbin dialed the security department.

The head of the security department, Brad, was also searching for the attacker's traces at the moment. He pulled up surveillance footage from the lobby, but oddly, the attacker was not found on it.

In the footage, the mythical creature seemed suddenly deranged, leaping out of the mural and rushing toward a researcher in the elevator.

However, after watching the footage twice, Brad noticed Li Yu's bizarre disappearance.

After listening to what Brad discovered in the footage, a glimmer of a different color flashed behind Robbin's glasses.

After a moment, he continued, "Look at where the Savior disappeared. Is there anything else?"

"Anything else?" Brad was puzzled. He came from CTU's counter-terrorism unit and had extensive experience dealing with terrorist attacks; however, he was an amateur in the supernatural field.

"Like some kind of small animal."

Following Dr. Robbin's suggestion, Brad instructed his staff analysts to review the footage again. This time, there was a new discovery; Brad enlarged the image and saw the gecko rapidly scurrying across the floor.

Brad then rewound the footage three seconds earlier, and the gecko disappeared again.

It was as if it appeared out of thin air in one frame and finally darted into the elevator, precisely where the mythical creature launched its attack.

"Transformation Technique," Robbin said, "is a powerful Divine Arts sequence. Can you pull the footage from inside the elevator?"

"No," Brad replied. "After that gecko went in, the elevator's surveillance stopped working. I initially thought it was damaged by that tiger-headed, human-faced monster. I'll have someone cut off the elevator's power right away."

"No need," Robbin countered, "He knows the Transformation Technique, which means even without an elevator, he can still climb up the shaft."

Brad added, "Then I'll rush to the third floor with my team immediately."

"No, you just need to guard the surveillance room. I've already ordered the doors of Labs 1 and 2 to be closed and had people wake up the Terracotta Warriors in the corridor.

"They're enough. Next, I'd like you to share the hallway video surveillance with me."

Though Brad was still somewhat skeptical about the Terracotta Warriors' effectiveness, he eventually complied with Robbin's order, as Dr. Robbin held the highest authority when the directors were not present.

Soon, the hallway surveillance of the third floor appeared on the monitor in front of Robbin.

Robbin could clearly see the current positions of the three elevators, and according to Brad, one had been stalled on the second floor for almost seven minutes.

The old man stared at that elevator and muttered to himself, "Come on, let's see how capable you are."

Robbin didn't know why Li Yu had suddenly betrayed the company, launching this attack, and even though he'd passed the [Mouth of Truth] test before, he turned away now...

These mysteries could only be unraveled once Li Yu was captured and interrogated.

From the old man's perspective, this seemed almost inevitable because Li Yu's abilities had never been a secret to the company.

Focusing purely from a researcher's viewpoint, no matter how those abilities were combined, the chance of breaking through the corridor's Terracotta Warriors was zero.

The only suspense was how long Li Yu could last, which was also what intrigued Robbin.

After about another 5 minutes, the elevator stalled on the second floor finally began ascending.

On the other end of the surveillance, security chief Brad involuntarily held his breath.

Robbin remained calm, although when the elevator doors opened, there was no sign of Li Yu.

Trying the same trick again?

When Robbin and Brad thought Li Yu had transformed into a gecko again, attempting to slip through unnoticed, a huge pile of things clattered out of the elevator compartment.

The items were bizarre, including ancient chimes, music boxes, plaster statues, leather jars, tablets, and even a humanoid stone coffin painted with the sky goddess Nut...

"What are these things?" Brad asked in confusion.

Robbin was equally puzzled at first, but soon the old man realized something, and his pupils suddenly contracted.

"Not good. No wonder the elevator was stalled on the second floor for so long; he took the time to go to the underground storage and bring these things up."

"The underground storage? Isn't that where dangerous items are kept?" Brad was equally shocked upon hearing this.

He then saw black smoke emerging from the shattered leather jar, and at the same time, the Terracotta Warriors on both sides of the corridor started moving, weapons in hand, toward the black smoke.

Just a few steps into the movement, the music box suddenly began to play. Luckily, its sound didn't affect the Terracotta Warriors, and it was soon crushed into pieces by one of them.

However, the crisis was not yet over. The real battle was just beginning. The black smoke enveloped one of the Terracotta Warriors, swirling around it furiously, with a faint green light emerging from it.

Brad had no idea what the green light was, but instinct told him never to let that thing get close, only an inanimate Divine Arts creation like the Terracotta Warriors could withstand the green light within the black smoke.

Robbin's wrinkled face no longer showed any hint of ease, especially when he saw the stone coffin open, revealing a Mummy that opened its mouth, releasing black insects.

Some of these insects were cut in half by the Terracotta Warriors, but some landed on them, and it wasn't long before they gnawed the warriors into riddled pits.
