Without hesitation, Li Yu stepped up to the [Mouth of Truth]. The statue had opened its mouth again, and the severed hand inside had disappeared.

Only the bloodstains on the statue reminded everyone of what had just happened.

Li Yu placed his right hand into the statue's mouth and vowed before the five directors, "I swear to remain loyal to the company, the board, and my fellow humans.

"I am prepared to become humanity's Savior and lead twenty million survivors to another dimension to continue and rebuild human civilization there."

"How do you plan to deal with the indigenous people of that dimension?" Mr. Qin asked.

"I will kill them, first making them followers of the Double Rest Sect, then offering their bodies to the Double Rest Sect."

"Won't doing so trouble you?" Bernard stared into Li Yu's eyes.

"Yes, but I must make difficult choices for my people to survive."

"Admirable," Windsor praised, pausing before adding, "We're forcing you to make such choices; do you hate us for it?"

This time, Li Yu was silent for a while before replying, "I hate you, but that doesn't stop me from carrying out your orders to save my people."
