Wizard World:Struggles of dimensions-Chapter 161
161 Path of will
Layton found himself in a weird wide space covered with tumbling chaotic fog of grey colour, he immediately knew it was the same space he had viewed from Zeroโs memory, Layton did not have zeroโs spatial laws and so he couldnโt perceive the countless spatial domains scattered in this space but his perception allowed to notice something Zero hadnโt, the fog in the space seemed to possess a repulsive effect one that would only grow stronger the longer an individual stayed in it without an anchor of some sort, not only that Layton could feel that a battle in this space without an anchor would only dramatically speed up the expulsion process, judging from the situation of the space the anchor was naturally the domain to be constructed and hidden in the space. ฦ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐๐จv๐ฆl.๐o๐ฆ
The effect of the grey fog on Layton was basically nonexistent as he had just arrived and hadnโt fought a battle, if not for his perverted perception he wouldnโt have noticed its effects so it was no wonder the characteristics of the fog went unnoticed by Zero. ๐๐งee๐e๐๐๐จ๐๐๐น.c๐ผ๐
The appearance of Zero and Lilith who had followed Layton into the space shook him out of his thoughts, he spared them a quick glance and then began the process of imprinting his domain in the space, fully urging his strength the space appeared to shake as a spatial fragment flew out of a hidden layer of space and appeared in front of him, with its appearance the steps for the breakthrough was automatically sent to Laytonโs mind, looking at the irregular shaped shard a bright silver light shot out of his eyeballs, the short burst of light contained all his strength, mind and information, it was akin to his full-fledged attack, the light easily penetrated into the spatial shard and a marvelous change immediately began to take place, the irregularly shaped shard began to rapidly smoothen and expand forming a circular shaped domain while emitting a magnificent bright silver light if one observed carefully they would understand that the silver light was essentially the same as the one Layton had sent into the fragment earlier.
Although the change appeared simple it was far from so, it involved the rapid and complicated exchange between the planeโs laws and the nascent laws that made up the core of the domain that was being constructed , once the change started Laytonโs perception had been drawn into it, his mind seemed to be drawn into a familiar ocean of power and laws, Layton had been in a similar space before on other planes, he understood he was in a location close to the plane core, it seemed his identity as an outsider imprinting his domain in the plane providing the plane with foreign power, information and rules had warranted some special rewards, the perception of his mind rapidly strengthened as some foreign information was sent into it, the information contained the special gift from the plane will, one involving a glimpse of his future path.
Laytonโs had not yet created a unique practice for his will after becoming a legend he was still comprehending various laws and knowledge sublimating his spirit and tempering his rune making the integration between the two more close knit until they truly became two sides of the same coin and his will could truly be materialized propelling him to deity hood, but now thanks to the huge computing power of the plane and the unique perspective of various intertwine laws a new way had been proposed. One involving deepening his control of the material world, at present under the shroud of his will and domain he possessed huge if not total control over the cellular molecular and surface layer of his body and other creatures, while possessing some influence over the atomic layer, he possessed this ability by being able to interfere with the structure by the strength of his will and being able to manipulate some surface information that constituted its make up causing it to change, his will simply giving commands to the cells making them do his bidding, the strength of his will making reality change to his bidding and ensuring any contradiction between the desired change and reality was ignored for the time being his will was present he had used this when he broke through to legend as he optimized his body structure forcing himself to adapt and permanently evolve to a desired form, he could naturally perform this change on himself again as he saw fit or perform it on others, but performing this change on others would require his will to overpower theirs, influencing them in both body and mind essentially making them slaves or poorly constructed clones that would possess a short lifespan once they left the shroud of his domain.
The influence of his will was not only on living things but also on non-living things as he could easily change their molecular make up, of course the result of this mostly caused the objects to collapse when it left the shroud of his domain and will, the new practice path was related to this, its core lied in control of the influence and changes brought about by his will, as his control deepened so would his perception and naturally his knowledge, judging from the information that had been sent to his mind once he could fully control the atomic layer and make modifications at will modification which could still stably exist even outside the shroud of his domain he would naturally be promoted to deity hood, the only flaw with this at present was that there was no mention of the range of control of extraordinary energy particles or the spiritual layer, this path mainly focused on one part of reality, starting from the cells and molecules, to atoms and then to the proton, neutron and electrons etc.
it was obvious to Layton that the plane had basically made use of his knowledge and cognition to devise such a path and since the most complete part of his cognition was that of his previous life it was no surprise the cultivation path sourced possessed such a resemblance. Although such a path seemed incomplete it was a good enough start for Layton to tinker and change to fit his circumstances.
