"Okay." Chloe Gable turned sideways to unbuckle Joy’s seatbelt.

Adrian Lancaster helped out as well, "Mom, in a moment, I’ll introduce you to The Xavier Family."

"Adrian..." She was a bit worried and a bit scared because she couldn’t predict what would happen next, "Faye still doesn’t remember me."

"She’ll remember eventually." Adrian Lancaster was confident, "It’s alright, I’m here, don’t worry."

Could what Adrian Lancaster said ever be false?

When he finished speaking, he carried his daughter out, "Come, sweetheart, Daddy’s got you."

Joy was not even a year old yet. She came to a strange environment, her big eyes darting around curiously.

If it were in the past, she would have recognized her surroundings and cried in unfamiliar places.

It was as if she knew this was her grandma’s house, kicking her little legs in her dad’s arms, happily waving her arms and legs.

Soon, Nathan Xavier appeared at the door, "Adrian, my father has returned too. My parents just reunited with my sister, emotions are running high, and they haven’t gotten to say much yet."

The original plan with Adrian Lancaster was to hand over the appraisal report to his parents later in the evening because Simon Xavier had business at the company today.

"Alright." Adrian Lancaster understood, nodding. He felt genuinely happy for Faye. This was a wish he had finally fulfilled.

"Knowing you’re coming to pick her up, my father asked you to come in and sit for a while." Nathan Xavier sincerely gestured respectfully, "Please come inside."

When Nathan Xavier’s gaze fell on Chloe Gable, he thought she was the child’s nursemaid.

Looking at the child, Nathan Xavier was filled with joy. This was his sister’s flesh and blood! The Xavier family’s blood ran in her veins!

Adrian Lancaster didn’t introduce his mother-in-law’s identity at the door but carried the child, guiding Teacher Gable toward the imposing gates of The Xavier Estate.

He was eager to see Faye, couldn’t wait.

Chloe Gable, a commoner, dressed simply, with an ordinary demeanor.

Even though Adrian Lancaster held deep respect for her, she still felt a sense of oppression entering such a vast and unknown mansion, with its intersecting stone paths, pavilions, and towers that were easy to get lost in.

Here, the lush green hills and waters, the courtyard exuding profound historical and cultural essence, the rippling ponds, and the blooming rare flowers in the yard made even the air smell pleasing.

Teacher Gable thought to herself, Faye and Adrian were indeed a perfect match. The Xavier Family of Jadepoint with The Lancaster Family of Argent—that’s a perfect match.

In a grand hall, The Xavier Elders saw ahead the people brought by their son and hurried out to meet them.

First was Adrian Lancaster, actually, Nathan mentioned he was Shane’s husband.

Faye Turner stood dazed in the hall, watching her parents go out to meet them. Her gaze shifted not far away, closer and closer...

She saw the man’s face clearly once more. The strange feeling made her heartache.

They even had a daughter, so why... is the memory related to him lost?

"Dad! Mom!" Adrian Lancaster changed his address smoothly, directly saying, "This child is your granddaughter. Come, hold her!"

He handed the child over and didn’t even care about Teacher Gable behind him, speeding up his steps toward the beautiful girl in the hall!

"Faye!" He rushed in, joyfully stopping before her, couldn’t help but hold her hands, "How are you?" His gaze towards her was full of cherishment and love.

He reached out to wipe her tears, but Faye Turner withdrew her hand from his palm, then shrank back a step, feeling unfamiliar with him.
