When Love is a Question Mark-Chapter 233: Captured Moments
Samuel adjusted his cufflinks, his usual composed demeanor intact, though his eyes lingered on Zinnia as she stepped out of the car. She wore a flowing pastel gown that caught the light just right, making her look ethereal.
"You look stunning," he said, his voice low but sincere.
Zinnia glanced at him, surprised by the compliment. "Thank you," she replied softly. "You clean up well yourself."
Samuel smirked, brushing imaginary dust off his tailored suit. "I do try."
The photographer approached, a cheerful woman with a keen eye for detail. "Ah, you must be Zinnia and Samuel. Welcome! You both look amazing. This is going to be a beautiful shoot."
"Let’s hope so," Samuel said, his tone polite but guarded.
Zinnia nodded, offering a small smile. "Thank you for making time for us."
The photographer clapped her hands together. "Alright, let’s get started! We’ll begin by the fountain. It’s the perfect spot to capture the romantic vibe."
As they walked toward the fountain, Samuel leaned closer to Zinnia. "Are you nervous?" he asked, noting the way she fiddled with the hem of her gown.
"A little," she admitted. "I’m not used to being in front of the camera like this."
He offered her his arm, a rare gesture of reassurance. "Don’t worry. Just follow my lead. But don’t you often do livestreams?"
"I usually show my paintings. I hardly ever make my face the focus of the camera," she replied.
"Don’t worry," he repeated with a small smile. "Just follow my lead."
The first set of shots focused on their natural chemistry. The photographer directed them to stand by the fountain, Samuel’s hand resting lightly on Zinnia’s waist while she gazed up at him.
"Perfect," the photographer said, snapping away. "Samuel, tilt your head slightly toward her. Zinnia, give me a soft smile. Beautiful!"
Zinnia felt her cheeks heat under Samuel’s intense gaze. Despite the staged setting, there was something intimate about the moment.
"You’re doing great," Samuel murmured, his voice just loud enough for her to hear.
"Thanks," she said, her smile becoming more genuine. "You’re not too bad yourself."
The next series of photos were more dynamic. The crew directed them to walk hand-in-hand down a cobblestone path lined with flowers.
"Samuel, look at her as if she’s the most important person in your world," the photographer instructed.
He chuckled softly, raising an eyebrow at Zinnia. "That shouldn’t be too hard."
Zinnia rolled her eyes, though her lips twitched in amusement. "Flatterer."
"Just following directions," he replied smoothly.
As the shoot progressed, the poses became more playful. They sat on a vintage swing, Samuel pushing it gently as Zinnia laughed, the sound light and infectious. Another shot had them leaning against the gazebo, Samuel tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear while Zinnia looked away, feigning shyness.
By the time they moved to the next location—a small wooden bridge over a reflective pond—the tension between them had eased considerably.
The photographer said, "I want something candid. Just talk to each other, maybe share a joke or a moment. Forget about the camera."
Samuel turned to Zinnia, his expression softening. "Do you remember the first time we met?"
She blinked, caught off guard by the question. "Of course. How could I forget?"
"You’re so awestruck by me," he said, a teasing lilt in his voice.
Zinnia laughed, shaking her head. "You are such a narcissist."
"Hey, you almost turned me down without even looking at me," he quipped, a rare grin lighting up his face.
Their laughter filled the air, and the photographer captured the genuine exchange with rapid clicks of her camera.
The photographer approached them, beaming. "You two were incredible. The photos are going to be stunning."
"Thank you," Zinnia said, her cheeks still flushed from the afternoon.
Samuel extended his hand to the photographer. "You’ve done a great job. We appreciate it."
As the golden hour began to descend, Zinnia and Samuel arrived at the beachside location for the next part of their prenup photos.
The gentle sound of waves crashing against the shore and the cool sea breeze set the perfect romantic atmosphere.
The setup was picturesque, with a rustic wooden arch decorated with soft white drapes and seashells, and a heart-shaped arrangement of candles waiting to be lit as the sun dipped below the horizon.
Before the shoot could begin, a familiar voice called out from behind. "Hey! Don’t start without us!"
Zinnia and Samuel turned to see Lily and Timmy hurrying toward them, a bit out of breath but clearly excited to join.
"Didn’t expect to see you two here," Samuel said, arching an eyebrow. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
Lily grinned as she adjusted her flowing summer dress. "We couldn’t resist. Thought we’d come and offer some moral support—and maybe sneak into a few photos."
Timmy gave an awkward chuckle, his tie slightly askew. "Lily insisted."
Zinnia smiled warmly at them. "The more, the merrier. It’ll be fun to have you here."
The photographer, noticing the new arrivals, clapped her hands. "Perfect timing! We’ll start with the couple, and then we can include your friends in a few shots later."
Samuel and Zinnia stepped onto the sand, their bare feet sinking into the cool grains. Zinnia’s dress flowed gracefully in the wind, while Samuel’s rolled-up trousers and crisp white shirt gave him a relaxed yet polished look.
"Alright, let’s start with something simple," the photographer instructed. "Zinnia, stand near the waterline, and Samuel, walk toward her like you’re seeing her for the first time."
Zinnia moved to her spot, her hair catching the golden light. Samuel began his approach, his gaze locking onto hers with an intensity that felt almost too real.
"Perfect," the photographer called out. "Now, Samuel, take her hand and spin her gently."
He reached for Zinnia’s hand, and as she twirled, the hem of her dress flared out like a blossoming flower. Her laughter filled the air, genuine and free, and Samuel couldn’t help but smile.
"You’re enjoying this more than I expected," she teased as they paused for a moment.
Samuel shrugged, a playful glint in his eye. "You make it easy."
