Wedding Night! A Regretful Marriage to Her Disabled Rival!-Chapter 10
Oww, You’re Hurting Me!
The housekeeper was so busy talking about Gu Qingcheng that he didn’t notice Huo Sicheng’s dark expression.
When he mentioned Huo Sicheng and Gu Qingcheng getting a divorce, he reminded her meaningfully, “Young Master, don’t forget Miss Li …”
“Gu Qingcheng is now Mrs. Huo!” Huo Sicheng warned sternly, “Pay attention to your status, and don’t overstep your boundaries!”
Mr. Zhao was so scared that he shivered. His face was pale, and he didn’t dare to say anything. It wasn’t until he felt the sharp coldness on Huo Sicheng’s body gradually dissipate that he relaxed and left carefully.
The next day, the morning light shone over the entire Jiang City, bringing a drizzle with it.
Gu Qingcheng didn’t know when she had fallen asleep last night, but when she woke up, she found a moon-white, hand-embroidered dress with magnolias by her bed.
She liked moon white and magnolias. The one who knew her preference was definitely not Mr. Zhao but Huo Sicheng. It was obvious that he cared about her, which made her feel warm and touched.
After putting them on, she found that the clothes fit her well. She was surprised that Huo Sicheng knew her measurements.
There was no one in the large hall. She was about to ask someone where Huo Sicheng had gone when she saw the butler, Mr. Zhao.
When Mr. Zhao saw Gu Qingcheng, he instinctively turned to leave.
“Mr. Zhao…” Gu Qingcheng began.
Mr. Zhao’s eyes were filled with disgust, but when he turned to look at Gu Qingcheng, he smiled.
“Miss Gu, you’re up. The dining room is this way. I’ll bring you there for breakfast.”
Gu Qingcheng wasn’t surprised that Mr. Zhao hated her. After Old Master Huo and his wife passed away in a car accident, Mr. Zhao treated Huo Sicheng like his own son, but she didn’t treat him well. Even if she were his wife, he wouldn’t like her.
“Mr. Zhao, it’s my fault that I didn’t treat Sicheng well in the past. I will never mistreat him in the future.” She walked up to Mr. Zhao, gentle and apologetic. “Sicheng and I got married last night. This will be my home from now on. You are my elder. If I have done anything wrong, please remind, teach, and forgive me.”
Mr. Zhao didn’t expect the arrogant Gu Qingcheng to apologize to him. It didn’t seem like her at all.
However, he didn’t accept Gu Qingcheng’s apology just because she apologized. People like her couldn’t change their nature. He didn’t believe her nonsense.
He only hoped Young Master would divorce her as soon as possible to preserve the Huo family’s reputation. Otherwise, if outsiders found out that Young Master was married to the wicked Gu Qingcheng, her reputation would be ruined by the Huo family.
“Miss Gu, what are you talking about? I’m just a servant of the Huo family. You have a noble status. If you have anything to tell me, I’ll do it.” He smiled, his words clear as day.
Gu Qingcheng had just told Mr. Zhao that she was married to Huo Sicheng and was now the mistress of the Huo family. However, Mr. Jones still called her the eldest daughter of the Gu family and refused to acknowledge her as the young lady of the Huo family.
She should be angry, but Mr. Zhao was not an ordinary servant. If she offended him, he would definitely make things difficult for her in Wanmei Villa.
Therefore, she chose to tolerate it. After all, getting Mr. Zhao to accept her was not just a matter of words. She had to take action.
She smiled and changed the topic. “Where’s Little Xuanxuan?”
Mr. Zhao’s eyes flashed with surprise. He hadn’t expected that Gu Qingcheng wouldn’t be angry with him. Instead, she continued to talk to him in a friendly manner.
He knew that Gu Qingcheng was an evil woman. He had been beating around the bush and calling her a bad person, but she had endured it. It was apparent how scheming she was.
She must have some ulterior motive for Young Master Huo Sicheng. As long as he was around, not only would he not admit that she was the young mistress of the Huo family, but he would also not allow her to hurt Young Master!
“Young Master went to the company early in the morning.” It was his responsibility as a housekeeper to answer Gu Qingcheng’s questions. “I’ve personally sent the young master to school.”
Gu Qingcheng understood. “I’m leaving in half an hour. I don’t need a driver. Just give me the car key.”
“Yes, Miss Gu.”
Gu Qingcheng checked the Jiang City news while she was eating. The news of her publicly dumping the eldest young master of the Qin family, Qin Jun, hadn’t been reported, so she knew that either Gu Tianhao or Qin Chong had suppressed the rejection of the marriage.
She sneered. They could suppress the news once but not the second time. There was still a long way to go, and the show had only started last night!
After breakfast, she drove a white Ferrari to the Gu Manor.
When the servants in the manor saw her, they ran away as if they had seen a ghost. She came back today to pack her things and move to Wanmei Villa. She didn’t care about anything else.
“Brother Jun, my sister looks pure on the outside, but she’s actually a sl*t on the inside. Why would she dare to kiss a crippled man like Huo Sicheng in front of everyone otherwise? So if such a shameless woman dumped you, then so be it. She’s not worthy of you getting angry for her.” Gu Mei’s coquettish voice sounded. “I’m yours today. I’ll cooperate with you no matter what you want me to do.”
Gu Qingcheng had to pass by Gu Mei’s bedroom on her way back to her room, so when she heard her voice, she stopped in her tracks and turned around to find that Gu Mei hadn’t even closed the door.
She was shocked because in her previous life after she and Qin Jun got engaged successfully, she had to rehearse that night and only returned the next morning. She had also passed Gu Mei’s room but did not see this happening.
This made her immediately understand that her rebirth, changing the engagement banquet into a wedding, had messed up the original timeline. However, it did not delay her from dealing with Gu Mei and Qin Jun, the cheating couple!
At that moment, Gu Mei took off Qin Jun’s clothes. When he heard Gu Mei mention Gu Qingcheng, he angrily pounced on her.
“Don’t mention that b*tch Gu Qingcheng in front of me!” He grabbed Gu Mei’s neck.
“Brother Jun, you’re hurting me!” Gu Mei’s face was filled with pain. She wanted to push Qin Jun away, but she lacked the strength to push him away. She could only wail in pain. “I’m not Gu Qingcheng. I’m your favorite Meimei…”
Gu Qingcheng knew about the things that happened between men and women, but she had never experienced it and had never seen such an intimate scene with her own eyes.
This scene made her blush. She quickly turned around and left, then stopped.
A thought flashed through her mind, and she took out her phone to record the scene before her.
In the living room, Chu He, who had just received the news that Gu Qingcheng was back, rushed to the living room. When she saw Gu Qingcheng, who had obviously packed her things and was about to leave with her suitcase, her eyes were filled with poison.
The lowly Gu Qingcheng dumped Qin Jun and ruined her husband Gu Tianhao’s plans. Gu Tianhao had used her as a tool to vent her anger last night, and her body was in excruciating pain today. She would not let Gu Qingcheng off the hook.
“Ah, Qingcheng, you’re back.” She pretended to be kind and quickly went forward. With a face full of heartache and gentleness, she said, “Are you leaving with your suitcase? Don’t. Your dad loves you the most. He said those words to you out of anger last night. It’ll be fine if I persuade him. Be good and put down the suitcase. We can have a good talk.”
The moment Chu He grabbed Gu Qingcheng’s wrist, her stomach churned with disgust.
She raised her hand to shake Chu He off and scolded, “Don’t touch me.”
There was no way Chu He would stop Gu Qingcheng from staying. She wanted nothing more than to tear that little b*tch apart.
Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of Gu Tianhao, who she had deliberately sent a servant to invite to the living room, and a vicious glint flashed across her eyes.
“Ah…” She let out a miserable shriek and deliberately fell back heavily onto the ground. Tears immediately fell down her face. “Qingcheng, although I’m your stepmother, I’ve always treated you like my own daughter and doted on you. I just wanted to persuade you to reconcile with your father. How could you call me a cheap mistress? You even hit me and pushed me!”
