Chapter 410: Chapter 395: It’s Andrew!

Before breaking through the Illusion Realm, Andrew had disguised himself.

After nearly being exposed by the First Saint Son Liek and having the information almost passed on to higher authorities, Andrew naturally took this issue more seriously.

Unlike the "pyramid-shaped" Earth Fire Magic, the Water Magic in the Water God Mark is distributed like a "tree".

Simply put, the higher the Magic Tier, the more numerous the spells.

There is no recording of any Divine Level Water Magic within the Water God Mark.

But the sheer number of various Magic Guide Level Water Magic nearly overwhelmed Andrew after breaking through to the Magic Guide Realm!

For instance, the "Mirror of the Sky" Andrew used not long ago to trap the Desolate Beast.

And the Magic Guide Level Water Magic Andrew used to disguise his identity—

Deep Blue Mask.

The so-called Deep Blue Mask is, as the name suggests, a mask created by magic power to hide one’s true appearance, modify one’s body shape, voice, temperament, and even soul aura, achieving the purpose of disguising identity.

The mask constructed by this magic for disguise has one characteristic: it’s extremely thin.

However, if outsiders attempt to break through this nearly negligible thin mask disguise, they must overcome countless layers of illusions!

The seemingly thin layer of the mask contains countless layers in reality.

Each layer, like the deep sea, can trap and confound the power of those who attempt to break it.

It is a very rare type of disguise magic with an inherent "defensive counterattack" attribute!

Andrew was initially confident in this "Deep Blue Mask," thinking that as long as Silver and others didn’t let anything slip, this time he wouldn’t be exposed again no matter what.

However, in the very first encounter, half of his mask was shattered, even slightly damaging some of his facial skin!

"Impressive! This giant crab." At this moment, Andrew looked down at the blood-stained mask shards shattered by the Desolate Beast’s power in his hand.

The small wound on his face healed almost instantly under the naturally strong self-healing power of Water Magic, yet Andrew’s heart was deeply shaken.

You see, breaking through from Tier Six to the illustrious Realm of Magic in such a short time was enough to inflate Andrew’s ego to some extent.

It’s quite normal—as if getting rich overnight—it’s completely abnormal not to feel inflated!

Until the moment the mask shattered, like a bucket of cold water poured over his head, drenching him thoroughly, cooling Andrew’s somewhat overheated mind back to calm.

"This is troublesome, this giant crab just said ’it’s you’, so he recognized me?" Andrew raised his eyes and looked again at the Desolate Beast across from him, then paused.

He saw those enormous compound eyes of the Desolate Beast staring directly at him.

What Andrew didn’t know was that it wasn’t only his own heart that was impacted, but the Desolate Beast across from him was equally unsettled inside!

Initially, the Desolate Beast’s breath after breaking through the Illusion Realm was not merely a probe, nor was it only to tear away Andrew’s mask disguise.

The Desolate Beast originally intended to catch Andrew off guard, to come in heavy-handed and kill if possible!

What was the result?

The Desolate Beast did tear Andrew’s mask, true, but his own consciousness and will almost got trapped in the unfathomable deep blue contained within the mask!

Fighting someone else’s face, nearly losing his own consciousness! This was an experience the Desolate Beast had never had when clashing with the war class Lidzmat.

If only that were all.

The most crucial part was what was beneath the half-shattered mask.

The Desolate Beast recognized Andrew.

Not long ago, when summoned back to the Flame Realm by the three Earth Fire Scholars, he had heard: One of the triggers of the Second Twin Flame War was the Magic Guild’s failure in the Royal Court negotiation.

And a major reason for that failure was the presence of Andrew, this unpredictable factor.

"Andrew..." The Desolate Beast clearly remembered asking at that time, "The Andrew from Wildfire Territory?"

"Yes."

"Where is this person now?"

"After the Royal Court negotiation, he was kidnapped and taken away by Catherine, and the two have been missing since."

"..."

The Desolate Beast didn’t ask more but kept it in mind.

He knew Andrew came from Wildfire Territory.

This was because he had heard the name "Wildfire Lord Andrew" even earlier and had read detailed information related to Andrew.

That was during the First Twin Flame War.

Although the Desolate Beast was mainly responsible for the battle on the Outer Battlefield, he would regularly receive reports on the latest situation in the Flame Realm.

There had been a piece of intelligence that seemed unremarkable to others but caught the Desolate Beast’s attention greatly: Wildfire Lord Andrew "exorcised" almost all of the Desolate Beasts in the Inner Sea Desert, exposing the truth that "Desolate Beasts are transformations of Flame Warriors," leading to a collective mutiny within the Magic Guild’s Flame Warrior group.

Yes, even back then, the Desolate Beast had heard of Andrew, knowing of Andrew’s existence as a "Desolate Beast Exorcist."

The Desolate Beast himself was a Flame Warrior.

Moreover, he had been practicing the new Dragon Transformation Combat Technique, which delayed but ultimately resulted in a more thorough Desolate Beast Transformation.

Suddenly hearing of a young unknown boy who could restore uncontrollable Desolate Beasts back into Flame Warriors, how could the Desolate Beast’s heart remain unruffled?!

To be blunt, Andrew’s help to the Warm Fire Commerce Association in winning the Royal Court negotiation held no significance for the Desolate Beast.

What truly made him remember Andrew was the earlier act of exorcising Desolate Beasts in the Inner Sea Desert.

"So, is it this kid? This overly young whelp is the Andrew who exorcises Desolate Beasts?"

At this moment, Arstared fixedly at Andrew.

Then he spoke, asking, "Why are you here?"

This question Arstasked was extremely deep and slow.

Following closely were more questions: "Weren’t you kidnapped by Catherine of the Royal Court? Without the Guild’s Teleportation Gate, how did you enter this Outer Battlefield? Where is Catherine? And why... are you in... the Realm of Magic?"

With each question asked, Arst’s voice would rise a little, until at the last question, his voice completely thundered through the Water God Realm’s heavens and earth.

Why are you in the Realm of Magic?

By what right are you in the Realm of Magic?!

The limit tier for the younger generation is Tier Three peak.

The First Saintess Capella practiced a new version of the Dragon Transformation Combat Technique and reached Tier Four at a young age, a talent rarely seen in a century, truly a miracle.

What about Andrew?

Realm of Magic.

To Arst, this was no longer a phenomenon that concepts like "talent" or "miracle" could explain.

This completely exceeded his existing understanding of cultivation, the world, and the most fundamental immutable rules of the planes!!

Shock was far from enough to describe Arst’s feelings.

He only felt panic, extreme panic.

And then felt a threat!

A threat colossal and hard to assess in rank!

A threat that must be dealt with as a priority, in the most ruthless way, by any means necessary, immediately!!

"Andrew, be careful, he’s going to call for reinforcements!" Silver suddenly shouted.

Before the words fell, the Teleportation Gate that had already been controlled by Andrew on the beach began to vibrate violently, seeming to want to break free of Andrew’s power constraints.

The other side of this Teleportation Gate directly connects to the headquarters of the Magic Guild, the Scholar’s Fortress.

And the Scholar’s Fortress doesn’t only have the three Earth Fire Scholars who master the Dragon Stone Tower.

The western side of the Scholar’s Fortress is close to the Thebes Volcano range, deep within those mountains is the sleeping place of the Dragon of Greed, Lidzmat!

Silver reacted extremely quickly, discerning a lot of information from just a few words: "That Arst seemed to recognize Andrew. And judging from his reaction, Andrew seems to be quite a significant figure back in his homeland? This is clearly intending to regard Andrew as a massive threat and to eliminate him with thunderous means at the cradle!"

Andrew is already in the Realm of Magic, seemingly not in line with the "cradle" state.

However, conversely, at such a young age, with such a short cultivation time, he broke through to the Realm of Magic, so given time, to what extent will he progress?

It was because Arst felt that with Andrew’s cultivation speed, his current strength could very possibly still be in a "cradle" state, at least it was a possibility! He decided to contact the Earth Fire Scholars of the Flame Realm immediately and handle this matter together.

Otherwise, as a Magic Guide against a Magic Guide, he wouldn’t need to call for support so quickly and could completely engage one-on-one first.

The Teleportation Gate vibrated more fiercely.

The two Water Elemental Giants originally standing left and right at the gate were shaken and tottered, soon collapsing beyond recognition.

Andrew seemed completely unaware of this scene, even ignoring Silver’s shouted warning.

His hair silently turned a magical shade of blue.

Soon after, his eyebrows, eyes, also turned an incredibly deep blue.

The Teleportation Gate vibrated, the entire Water God Realm seemed to sway amidst the colossal echoes of Arst’s question on "why are you in the Realm of Magic, by what right are you in the Realm of Magic."

Amidst the turmoil, Andrew’s eyes were extremely calm, extremely awake, extremely steady!

Everything in sight was tinged with a faint layer of blue.

Then Andrew caught—

An utterly unremarkable fluctuation or signal, sprouting behind Arst, then silently shooting towards the sky.

Shooting towards... the direction of the Flame Realm!

This was Arst’s real purpose.

The loud questioning might have been, in part, a true expression of emotions, but the act of snatching the Teleportation Gate was completely a smokescreen, a blank shot.

Arst never truly intended to reclaim the Teleportation Gate.

Andrew was confident that it wouldn’t be so easily taken back by the opponent.

Arst’s real purpose was to use "seizing the Teleportation Gate" to draw Andrew’s attention, while utilizing the "Mini Teleportation Gate" he carried to send information back to the Flame Realm, to the three Earth Fire Scholars.

In that extremely concealed signal shooting into the sky was information that was very brief, yet a massive bombshell:

It is Andrew.

"You value me so highly? You make me feel somewhat flattered," Andrew also spoke, slowly saying.

His eyes remained firmly locked onto that signal.

Then, that invisible gaze quietly transformed, naturally, rightfully, as if this was nothing extraordinary, into tangible magic.

For a Magic Guide level of magic, if transforming from invisible to visible was all, indeed it’s nothing remarkable.

But at this moment, the magic evolved from Andrew’s gaze not only had form, it seemed to possess real... life.
