As she stood there on Liu Han’s face, I was able to get a better look at her.

She was a beautiful woman with bright red eyes, flaming red hair, and a fair complexion.

If she stood beside Liu Ao Xue, then she would have seemed like her sister rather than her mother.

But this was Liu Ao Xue’s mother, Murong Yan.

Murong Yan just stepped on it more as he laid there before looking at the other elders.

I couldn’t help being surprised by all of this since I had thought that her mother would be much stricter with how afraid everyone was of her. But it didn’t seem like she was that strict at all.

After hugging for a bit, Murong Yan looked at me and said, "So you’re the one?"

Liu Ao Xue was about to leave Murong Yan’s embrace and come to my side when she heard this, but Murong Yan wouldn’t let her go. So the only thing that she could do was look at me with a worried look.

But I wasn’t worried at all as I gave a firm nod in response.

Murong Yan looked at me in silence for a bit before suddenly giving a nod as well and then turning to ask Liu Ao Xue, "Xue’er, are you happy?"
