Wasting Money to Become an Immortal-Chapter 398: Succubus

Though I quickly said this, I could still feel the chill hitting me.

That chill that ran down my spine was like I had been frozen in ice.

At the same time, the lackeys who had been standing in front of the girls releasing this chill couldn’t help moving out of the way. They couldn’t stand in the way of the fury of these girls after all.

The unknown girl who was in bed with me seemed to have recovered, but she froze once more when the chill fell onto her as well.

Though most of that anger was directed at me.

As I just sat there in bed with a bitter smile on my face, I suddenly realized something.

I usually wore clothes when I went to bed, but now I found that I wasn’t wearing anything but my underwear. It was as if my clothes had disappeared all of a sudden after falling asleep.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I could see that my clothes were lying there on the floor in a crumpled pile. It was as if someone had hastily taken off my clothes and thrown them to the side like this.

I didn’t even need to guess to know who did this.

There was only one person that could have done this after all.

There had only been one person that had been in the room the whole time with him, so it could only be that one person.

Namely, the mysterious unknown half naked girl who was still in his bed.

After thinking about it, I grabbed the sheets and covered myself up even if that wasn’t much of a defense.

When she felt the sheets shifting under her, the unknown girl finally came back to her senses.

The first thing that she did was...turn to me.

After turning to me, she reached her arms out and went to dive towards me as if she wanted to grab me.

While diving at me, she said, "Darling, please save me from these brutes!"

There was this strange feeling that came from her as she said this, but I wasn’t really affected by it now that I had woken up. The only time that this might have worked was when I was asleep where my mental guard was down, but it wouldn’t work now that I was awake.

My cultivation had developed quite a bit, so my mind was quite strong.

But the fact that there was this strange feeling meant that she was trying to do something to me.

Based on how she was dressed and the way that she acted, as well as the horns and tail that she had, I could make a guess as to who this unknown girl was.

Though it was strange for her to be in a cultivation world since she was a creature that was more commonly found in a fantasy world.

She shouldn’t have been in this place...

Of course, I didn’t let her approach me even if I was a bit surprised by the fact that there was a succubus that was here. I just simply raised a finger and created a wall of electricity in between us.

The succubus wasn’t able to stop herself in time, meaning that she went face first into the wall of electricity. When she made contact with that wall of electricity, there was a shock that ran through her body before she quickly moved back.

However, since she moved back too quickly, she actually fell off the bed in the opposite direction.

After falling off the bed, she landed right in front of Liu Ao Xue and Mu Bao Bao who had stepped forward.

The two of them looked down at her before raising their hands.

Liu Ao Xue had a sword in her hand while Mu Bao Bao had a hand that was covered in pink flames raised.

The unknown girl knew that she was in danger, but there wasn’t anyone that she could hide behind.

So the only thing that she could do was get others to come to her rescue.

The best way to do that was...

"Please save me, I’m just a poor little girl..."

The one that she directed this to was Gao Fu Shuai who was standing behind Liu Ao Xue and Mu Bao Bao.

Unlike me who knew what to expect from her, Gao Fu Shuai didn’t have his guard up the same way. He was guarded against physical attacks, but he didn’t have his guard up against mental attacks.

Which was why when their gazes met, his eyes couldn’t help slowly blurring and it looked like he was about to fall under her control.

Before he could though, I suddenly raised my finger again and there was an electric net that appeared around Gao Fu Shuai. He was immediately zapped back to his senses and out of her control. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Though I did make sure to hold back a bit so he didn’t receive the same shock as the succubus had.

When the succubus saw this, she knew that her charm had failed, so she wanted to find a new target. But before she could find a new target, she suddenly found that there was another electric net that appeared around her.

The succubus finally had a look of worry appear on her face as she knew that it was dangerous for her to remain here.

If she didn’t do anything, then there was no doubt that she would be trapped and killed.

So the succubus did the only thing that she could do.

Before the electric net could make contact with her, she suddenly started to fade away.

It wasn’t that she was disappearing into thin air, it was that her body was slowly turning into smoke and she was disappearing through the holes in the net.

Even if I wanted to stop her, it was too late for me to do it as she had already slipped out the electric net. It wasn’t as if I could use the electricity to zap the smoke after all...

So in the end, the succubus disappeared without a trace.
