Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 232 - 231: Sweetness (18)
The sky had already brightened, and the two of them finally climbed to the top of the mountain, treading on the dew.
Bella Acker turned around, finally choosing a spot facing the city to build a small grave mound for that child who they were destined never to meet.
Placing the last stone, Bella Acker squatted in front of the grave, unwilling to move.
"Baby, thank you for coming into my life and being a part of it. I hope in your next life you can be born into a good family and live a happy and fulfilled life." Bella Acker whispered, "Even though we parted before we had the chance to meet, Mom and Dad will always love you and remember you."
Plop! A teardrop fell onto the stone in front of her.
Bella Acker kept her head down, biting her lip to stop herself from sobbing aloud.
This child, who couldn’t be born successfully, would forever be a regret in her heart, no matter how many years pass, she would remember.
Damian Sinclair reached out to embrace her, feeling the loss of this child who died before birth just as much.
He was always emotionally reserved, even when feeling distressed, he showed little emotion on the surface.
"Damian..." Bella Acker buried her head into his chest, finally letting out sobs.
People who have never truly felt a child’s arrival into their life, only to lose them, find it hard to understand this pain. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
Bella Acker once didn’t understand either, never even imagining it. But now she felt this agony herself, finally understanding the subtle connection between child and mother.
"Don’t cry anymore." Damian Sinclair gently patted her back to comfort her, "You still have me."
"Mmhmm."
Bella Acker cried for quite a while in his arms, as if venting all the grievances accumulated over these days, and only then did she feel somewhat relieved.
Having cried for so long, her eyes and nose had turned red, and afterward, she felt a little embarrassed.
"Dam... Damain, let’s go down the mountain."
Damian Sinclair wiped away the tear stains on her face, asking, "Feeling better?"
"Still hurting." Bella Acker shook her head, "But I believe he will definitely be reborn into an especially wonderful family, living happily and healthily for his entire life. I believe he also hopes that I will be happy and joyful, not always crying."
"Silly." Damian Sinclair kissed her on the forehead.
"I’m not silly, I’m very smart." Bella Acker huffed, tilting her head and pointing to her lips, "Kiss me here again."
"Are you sure with the child watching?" Damian Sinclair’s eyebrow arched slightly.
Bella Acker pouted, "I just want the child to see that Mom and Dad have a great relationship and will always be happy, so he can rest assured."
Feeling a stir in his heart, Damian Sinclair gently pinched her chin and said softly, "As you wish."
Before the words were fully spoken, he had already kissed her lips.
The soft lips carried a trace of the mountain peak’s chill, and Damian Sinclair gently used his tongue tip to draw her into his domain, kissing deeply.
Bella Acker clung to his shoulder, standing on tiptoe to respond.
Their tongues entwined, breaths mingling. Bella Acker slightly parted her lips, allowing his tongue to enter and claim every inch within her mouth.
He knew all her sensitive spots, quickly making her legs weak and unstable.
Bella Acker clung to his shoulder, gasping slightly as she said, "No... not here."
Damian Sinclair’s eyes darkened, swiftly lifting her up and quickly striding off to another place.
