Chapter 1839: Section 1840 Three Glass Beads

After sending Dororo away with Hebdon, Angel also returned to his room.

At the doorway of the room, Angel saw Butler Good holding a tray.

"I don’t need breakfast, I need peace and quiet..." Angel was halfway through his sentence when he suddenly stopped.

A faint aroma entered his nostrils, not fragrant, but strangely soothing, as if easing the tension in his mind and body.

"The breakfast was prepared by Mr. Asaz. Lady Barbie said that the food made by Mr. Asaz would offset their accommodation fees on Illusion Demon Island." Butler Good said, "Young Master, do you still need the meal?"

Angel was silent for a moment, but in the end, gourmet food defeated his restraint. He mumbled, "Bring it in, please."

After opening the door, Butler Good followed, placing the food from the tray onto the table. After setting up the meal, Butler Good intended to leave, planning to return later to clean up the dishes.

At this moment, Angel called him back: "Butler Good, I need to rest for the next few days. If there’s no urgent matter, please don’t disturb me."

Butler Good nodded: "Understood."

"By the way, I’m curious how you recognized this look of mine at a glance before. Was it Greya who told you?"

"Lady Barbie didn’t say anything." Good replied, "Does the young master not remember the means of Illusion Demon Island? The young master holds the second authority of the Illusion Demon Island. When the young master returned, the whole island had already informed all the Shadow Servants."

Angel was taken aback, not expecting the answer to be the authority of the Illusion Demon Island.

Though being recognized is understandable, it still counts as his identity being seen through. Angel touched his cheek, realizing that using Shapeshifting Technique to hide one’s identity involves many considerations. Otherwise, some details might betray his identity.

Angel sighed. The pride that came from fooling a few people now needed to be reined in.

After finishing the meal, Butler Good came back in to clear the tray. Once Butler Good left again, Angel was alone in the room.

Angel sat at his desk, contemplating for a moment before snapping his fingers gently.

In front of him appeared an illusion composed of countless colors.

The scene presented in the illusion was the one Dororo had seen earlier—a ravaged land, a blood-stained sky, and the overlooking Heavenly Eye.

This image was reconstructed by Angel and he named it "Doomsday Eye."

Previously, Dororo had asked him: "Aren’t you worried?"

Angel had appeared calm, even comforting Dororo at the time, seemingly unconcerned.

But in his true heart, he wasn’t as unfazed as he appeared; he was somewhat worried.

The future isn’t set in stone, but Angel did not know how to change it. He didn’t even know where the place in the image was or what connection it had with him.

The unknown is the most terrifying.

Angel quietly observed the image, while several books on the geography of the Flourish Continent on his desk began flipping quickly, as Angel attempted to identify the location in the image through comparison.

However, it was to no avail. A few hours later, Angel reluctantly closed the books, unable to find any useful information.

"It seems I’ll have to consult professionals."

Angel pondered, then took out a Demon Bloodstone from his bracelet, a low-level one with many inferior impurities. Angel didn’t meddle with the main body of the Demon Bloodstone but separated the impurities.

Then, Angel controlled the Hand of Magic to incinerate these impurities with mundane fire. Before long, several transparent Glass Beads were forged.

These Glass Beads were mundane items, but through Angel’s Alchemy, they could carry a slight Transcendent trait. Angel directly embedded the "Doomsday Eye" image into the Glass Bead using an Illusion Node.

Once the illusion was fused in, the Glass Beads emitted a prismatic light.

"Mission accomplished." A small input of energy would allow the Glass Beads to project the "Doomsday Eye" image.

Angel held out the Glass Beads in his palm, ensuring no error, then casually took three of them, his lips moving slightly, seemingly communicating silently. After finishing, he tossed the Glass Beads directly into the void.

The three Glass Beads flew out of the window like they had grown wings, scattering in different directions with a faint glow.

The nearest Glass Bead landed directly in front of a Mana Hut near the central lake of Illusion Demon Island.

Greya opened the window, stretched out her hand, and the pale blue Glass Bead landed in her palm.

The other two Glass Beads, one fell into the hands of the Tree Spirit basking in the sun outside the Spirit Tree Hall; the other unknowingly dropped into the pocket of an Apprentice who was heading to the Pamiji Plateau. As he left the Mirror World, the Glass Bead flew out of the Apprentice’s pocket and, before he noticed, headed towards the Puppet Hospital in Windmill Town. Finally, the Glass Bead ended up in Sanders’ hands.

Greya, Tree Spirit, and Sanders were Angel’s confidants for advice.

Not long after the Glass Beads were dispatched, the Tree Spirit was the first to respond, though his message was brief: "I don’t know. Should I forward this to others for their input?"

Angel didn’t have the Tree Spirit circulate the Glass Beads, as he was eager to know about the scene, but it wasn’t time to widely publicize it yet.

Sanders was the second to reply, and his reply was even more succinct: "Don’t know."

It was Greya, who was closest to Angel, who hadn’t responded at all.

Angel’s eyes brightened. Was Greya’s delay in replying a sign she had a clue? Greya had been wandering across the world through Barbie Restaurant, even extending it to the Otherworld, so perhaps she did know something!

Hopeful and waiting, Angel received Greya’s response an hour later.

Greya didn’t convey through telecommunication but came directly to his room.

Upon hearing Greya’s first words, Angel was rendered speechless.

"I was bathing in the hot spring in the Dream Twin Fantasy Realm earlier and didn’t get to see it." Greya paused, "I also don’t know the location of the scene in the image."

After Greya finished, seeing Angel silent, she curiously asked, "Does this image mean anything?"

Angel had no reason to hide it from Greya, so he relayed Dororo’s words directly.

After hearing Angel’s account, Greya looked at Angel with some sympathy: "This image seems to contain some significant Transcendent life, with the earth cracking and chasms everywhere, it doesn’t seem easy to deal with."

Greya’s compassionate tone was evident to Angel. However, Angel wasn’t as unfortunate as Greya thought; after all, the image represented just one of countless future possibilities, who knows if it would truly come to pass.

Greya: "I don’t know where exactly the location in the image is, but I’ve found some hidden clues within it. I’m not sure if they’ll be of any use to you."
