PS. Today's second update, thank you all for your patience.

Inside the Charon Forest, a green-skinned army of about two thousand is moving slowly.

The scene is chaotic. Green skins have never been an orderly race; the only purpose of their existence is battle. Usually, the green skins hold a "Big Chaos" to select a green-skinned warlord, or what is known as a warboss. This warboss will become the leader of the tribe. However, this leadership position is unstable and temporary. The green-skinned warlord constantly faces challenges from subordinates. If unable to effectively suppress these challenges and continually satisfy the green skins' thirst for battle, the warlord will be overthrown and replaced.

The green skin tribe within the Charon Forest is not particularly strong. The main composition of this green skin tribe is a large group of dark night goblins. Dark night goblins are relatively strong in combat but do not particularly like to move. They prefer to hide in subterranean tunnels, mining and bickering.

The Green Skin Tribe didn't originally lack orcs, but when the heads of the first to the eighth warbosses became part of Angerong's collection, the goblins overthrew the orcs' rule and slaughtered them completely. Then, they became the tribe's masters, which posed a problem for Angerong. Angerong can wield his axe and slay from one side of the green skin tribe to the other, but he clearly cannot delve into the subterranean tunnels to play hide and seek with the dark night goblins. Hence, this expedition includes Angerong's suggestion.

He desires a handy weapon too much.

Unlike the clueless, headstrong orcs, the goblins possess some ability in weapon crafting, production, and mining, especially as midnight goblins boast powerful mushroom cultivation technology.

"The scouts reported that the Dark Night Goblin Tribe somehow got hold of a large piece of vibranium. Our goal is to steal it," Angerong cautiously peeked out from the shadows in the forest. He pointed at the goblin army, numbering two thousand, "Of course, eliminating as many goblins as possible is also important. The more we kill, the safer the forest becomes. The more we kill, the more spoils we acquire. Goblins, unlike those orcs, know how to distinguish between shiny things, which are useless stones, and which are valuable gemstones, gold, and silver. They know in their hearts."

"There's no need for you to say much, Lord Angerong. We know. Our Dwarf Clan, the Angland Clan, has fought with them for thousands of years," Dugen the Ironman, a dwarf engineer, interjected, "If permissible, I think I can introduce these dark night goblins to you."

"Of course, we need enough intelligence," said the Holy Grail Knight Armand.

"First, at the forefront are the fanatics among the midnight goblins," Dugen the Ironman pointed at the advancing goblin army in the distance, "These scoundrels are the elite among goblins. They wield heavy flails. Under no circumstances should they be allowed near our infantry units. These goblin fanatics will recklessly spin their flails in place, causing massive casualties to both us and them."

"In the middle, there are hordes of goblin rabble, no need to consider their combat power."

"Hanging at the rear, riding those red ball-like creatures are the Squig Riders. Squigs are a bloodline of the Green Skin Tribe. Their incomplete evolution makes them appear half-creature, half-fungus. These Squig Riders are responsible for charging into enemy lines to create chaos. Some goblins will use the strong bodies of squigs to create opportunities for themselves."

A few Kingdom Knights instinctively realized these matters are tricky, whispering among themselves about how to initiate the attack.

"Dwarf brother, do you have any good suggestions?" Angerong asked with interest.

"Dark night goblins fear light, especially terrified of strong light, and we..." Dugen the Ironman turned his gaze to Veronica.

"No problem, but I need time," Veronica nodded.

"That's okay, we need time too," Armand turned his gaze into the forest, where a few mules were dragging a massive dwarf cannon.

"Then I have a plan," Angerong grinned, raising his war axe, "Follow me."

......

In the stillness of midnight, the dark night goblins were diligently moving. They had recently broken into a village of the Bastogne Duchy, connecting a basement where a dwarf treasure was hidden, acquiring a piece of vibranium. The not-so-cunning heads of the dark night goblins knew this was a valuable treasure, so they hurriedly retreated to their stronghold with their juniors.

They planned to use the vibranium to build a boom boom cart, a very sturdy one.

The goblins, carrying a large amount of loot, staggered forward. These cowardly creatures are always known for their poor leadership and low combat effectiveness. The only thing these creatures can rely on is numbers. Whenever they go to war, the hills and valleys would attempt to overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers. These creatures possess a terrifying reproductive ability. From mushroom spores landing to growing into a mushroom, it takes orcs three months, but goblins need only a little more than ten days.

"The boss said we're tired, we need to take a break!" the dark night goblin leader shouted.

"Then let's take a break!" the goblins loudly echoed their boss's words.

"The boss said we must reach the fortress before dawn, so no rest!" the leader of the Dark Night Goblins shouted along.

"Then we won't rest!" the goblins echoed in agreement, their wrinkled, ugly faces filled with fawning smiles: "No rest, let's go, let's go!"

And so the goblins began moving again.

"Toot~ toot~" At this moment, a heavy horn sounded from the depths of the forest.

"Enemy, it's the enemy, battle!" the Dark Night Goblin leader immediately shouted, and more than two thousand goblins adjusted their formation. The short goblins wielded short swords and bows, with only the most elite Goblin Fanatics using flails. They struggled to arrange their formation, with chaos overtaking their army. Their lineup was a mess, many goblins jostling and shoving each other, while Squig Beasts took the opportunity to feast on the weaker goblins among their ranks and even on the weaker flatus sprites, turning the entire goblin army into a chaotic mess.

"Ah! You damned, pesky bugs! Obey!" the leader of the Dark Night Goblins shouted in frustration, as the elite Goblin Fanatics had to come out and maintain order.

By the time this army was ready to face the enemy, there were no enemies to be found. The goblins checked the place where the horn's sound came from, but it was empty. The leader of the Dark Night Goblins cursed as he decided to set out again. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

The army was forced to reorganize its ranks. To get these ragtag troops back into position, the goblin leader expended a lot of effort; that's what goblins were like.

Their chaos gave Veronica enough time. In the frozen swamp between the woods, a dozen witch apprentices were jointly casting a spell.

Seventh-Ring Magic, Light of Exile.

A bright white light appeared among the Dark Night Goblin ranks, and a blinding orb descended from the sky, making it hard for anyone to open their eyes. Almost all the Dark Night Goblins simultaneously emitted mournful screams, crying out in pain, and tried to completely cover themselves with their robes. But the light was so dazzling that all the Dark Night Goblins temporarily lost their sight.

"Fire! Fire! Shoot those goblins riding the red beasts and those wielding flails!" Almost simultaneously, Armand shouted. Hundreds of crossbowmen quickly loaded their weapons, and the Woodland Guards drew their longbows, firing a rain of arrows from all directions onto the goblins caught unawares. The unsuspecting goblin army was met with a fierce attack, and the Dark Night Goblin leader quickly shouted: "It's the enemy! It's the enemy! For Brother Mao!"

"FNNDP! Brother Gao is the strongest!" To the astonishment of the Alliance Army, an iron ball flew out of nowhere and struck the leader's head directly, causing brains to splatter, along with a strange phrase in greenskin language.

There's an inside traitor! It must be a Goblin Fanatic who took the opportunity to attack the leader!

"Brother Mao is the strongest!" A Dark Night Goblin within the alliance instinctively grabbed a flail and smashed the head of a nearby goblin.

"Brother Gao is the strongest!" A small goblin used a short sword to stab this Goblin Fanatic through the chest from behind.

"Waaagh!"

"Waaaagh!"

Right in front of the Alliance Army, the goblin army experienced severe internal conflict. As the crossbowmen and Woodland Guards continued to reap goblin lives, the goblin army suffered a brutal civil war internally. Many Squig riders slaughtered one another, falling into pools of blood. Despite their efforts to maintain order, the Goblin Fanatics were too few.

The Dwarf Musketeers would not give them the opportunity. Dwarf Engineer Dugen the Ironman picked up a Long Fire Cannon, leading more than thirty Dwarf Thunder Gunners in a volley that took the lives of over twenty Goblin Fanatics. Bertrand, with his longbowmen from the bowman battalion, performed their archery skills with great expertise, while hundreds of soldiers and Peasant Knight Corps members attacked goblin soldiers that attempted to approach the alliance's battle lines.

"Advance!!!" Kingdom Knight Hex carefully observed the situation on the battlefield. With Veronica and the witch apprentices' joint spell, the entire battlefield was as bright as daylight. Confirming that the number of Goblin Fanatics had significantly reduced, he was the first to raise a shield and sharp sword: "Charge! For the Lady!"

"For the Lady!" Over a hundred knights and Knight's Squires roared as they charged down the hill, completely crushing the goblin army.

"The situation is settled, Angerong," Armand said under a pine tree not far away, speaking to Angerong standing on the tree: "I have to say... Lord Angerong, your method is indeed... unique. How did you come up with it? How did you determine that the greenskins would have internal conflicts?"

"When I was dealing with greenskins, you weren't even anybody, Armand." Angerong held a large iron ball in his hand. The ball and his big bald head reflected light under the spell, shining so brightly it was hard to look at: "The goblins have collapsed, go clean up the battlefield quickly."

"I can't wait to get my hands on that Vibranium."
