PS. Recently there aren't many comments on this chapter. Today I'm adding an extra chapter, let's get excited everyone!

Huge tomb evil ghosts gathered protectively in the middle of the burning camp, using their own lives to shield the siege vehicles engulfed in flames.

Inside the camp, screams and wails were endless, and the workers laboring for the vampires fell in large numbers under the flames. The mercenaries scattered in all directions. Estelle and Des repeatedly bent their bows and loosed arrows, striking down many mercenaries with shots to the forehead, causing them to fall dead on the spot.

"Fireball Technique!" Flames flickered at Veronica's fingertips, as a sphere emitting heavy fire elemental energy flew directly towards the siege vehicle, the blaze burning in the air.

The Vampire Lord in charge of the siege machinery was named Herman, Herman von Castain. Watching the fireball fly directly at the siege vehicle, this Lord roared in fury, "No!!!"

At his command, a tomb evil ghost bellowed and positioned itself between the Fireball Technique and the siege vehicle, its body being shattered by the explosion.

"Ice Arrow!" Teresa's spell arrived just in time, and another tomb evil ghost rushed forward to block the spell with its body.

The sacrifices of the two tomb evil ghosts saved two siege vehicles. Groups of desolate tomb guards charged at Laine and others under the command of the Vampire Lord. Laine and the others raised their weapons, shouting angrily as they charged into battle.

"Fourth Ring Divine Skill, Holy Consecration!" Alfred unleashed a divine art, with golden holy light illuminating the nearby desolate tomb guards. Those struck by the light had their bodies blister, melt, and corrode as if scalded by boiling water.

"For the Lady!" Jerald's sharp sword pierced through a desolate tomb guard's chest. He pulled out the longsword and kicked the body away. The fatally wounded desolate tomb guard lost control, collapsing into a skeleton on the ground.

"Teresa! Cover us! We must destroy the siege vehicles!" Laine swung his warhammer, knocking several desolate tomb guards flying. The Holy Grail Knight was unstoppable; the long halberds of the desolate tomb guards merely sparked against his masterwork power armor, without affecting his movements. Laine grabbed a long halberd with his hand and crushed it directly.

Within the burning camp, the mercenaries had already scattered, and from all directions, numerous vampire guards were closing in. They were skeleton guards unafraid of fire and a few vampires. Charging forward en masse, Laine and his companions struck out in all directions, trying to

"Alright!" Seeing the situation, the female sorcerer began chanting another spell: "Ice Barrier!"

A pale blue light formed a barrier, blocking reinforcements from two directions. Veronica unleashed another Fireball Technique in another attempt to destroy the siege vehicle. At the Vampire Lord's command, another tomb evil ghost charged forward with its massive body, meeting the fireball in mutual destruction.

The powerful tomb evil ghosts were being used as mere sandbags and meat shields.

"Can you summon another meteor, Veronica?" Laine held off the attacks from over a dozen desolate tomb guards by himself. He raised his hand, "Spiritual Storm!"

Pale blue lightning filled the narrow passage. The vortex of the spiritual storm trapped dozens of desolate tomb guards within, their armor electrocuted to a char, their decayed and shriveled bodies torn apart.

"No, I don't have enough magic power." Veronica, dressed in a fiery red leather outfit, held a Dwarf Masterwork Longsword. Terrifying flames burned along the sword's blade, a result of the Rune Flame Weapon spell. Though Veronica's melee combat skills were not highly proficient, she was not defenseless. The witch shouted loudly, "I need at least three more minutes to cast Meteorite Technique again."

"Then clear a path for me," Laine roared, single-handedly holding off several desolate tomb guards. In the distance, the Red Duke was approaching on a zombie dragon.

"Uwaahhh!" The Vampire Lord Herman wielded a longsword embedded with dark red crystals, engaging in battle with Jerald.

The strength of this Vampire Lord was not exceptional. He was being heavily suppressed by Jerald, who wielded a sharp sword blessed by the Lake God Prophet. The sword light ceaselessly surrounded Herman's head as he struggled to defend against Jerald's attacks.

Among those present were six Legendary Tier powerhouses, and a paladin specifically adept at countering the undead. The desolate tomb guards defending the camp were beginning to show signs of exhaustion. Teresa's spells were suppressing the Vampire Lord.

Second Ring Magic, Mind Shock!

The Vampire Lord casting spells with sword in hand was hit by a Mind Shock, becoming dizzy and disoriented. Then Jerald beheaded him: "In the name of the Lady!"

"Flaming Skull!" Veronica's spell came into play. The Jialan Witch exerted all her might to summon a small Flaming Skull once again, using its powerful spell to clear a path for Laine, leaving behind only puddles of molten iron.

Laine hurriedly rushed through, bringing his warhammer down, completely destroying two siege vehicles in the process. The flames on the warhammer reduced the siege vehicle remnants to ash. A tomb evil ghost charged in from the side, and Laine smashed its head with a single swing. The Holy Grail Knight was about to order everyone to retreat.

"Roar~~~" The roar of the zombie dragon was very close, and its gigantic claws grabbed Laine's body, lifting him high into the sky. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

"You're always against me, always against me, Laine Macado, can't you just... go die already!!!" The Blood Red Duke on the zombie dragon's back shouted maniacally. The zombie dragon's claws pressed Laine's body into the burning camp below, its body pressing him onto piles of flaming construction materials, lifting him again and pressing him onto another pile, repeating this process until finally tossing him down from the sky.
