In the Prayer Room, Mogiana lay flat on the bed, her forehead covered in a sheen of sweat. The Lake God Witch's small hand clutched the sheet tightly, while her other hand grasped Laine's hand firmly.

The white long dress had been undone, revealing Mogiana's alabaster-like abdomen. On her skin, Laine's fingertips danced with the Power of Thunder, channeling Spiritual Energy into his fingertips as he gently inscribed a silver pattern.

Laine focused intently as he imprinted his Spiritual Energy onto Mogiana. The Lake God Witch bit her lip gently, gripping Laine's large hand, enduring the stinging pain of the imprint and a peculiar sensation.

After enduring for a while, the pain gradually faded, replaced by a warm and cozy comfort that made the Lake God Witch grip Laine's hand. This time, she didn't hide behind a pillow, her face flushed as she whispered to Laine: "Is... is it done?"

"A little longer, my princess." Laine began infusing the imprint with Spiritual Energy to activate the seal.

"Okay... okay." Mogiana gazed tenderly at Laine, whose forehead also had a slight sheen of sweat. She spoke softly: "It's fine... you don't have to rush; take your time."

Thus the process continued for over ten minutes. When Mogiana's slender foot arched for the second time, the seal was reforged.

The silver heart-shaped pattern spread its beautiful wings on either side, with the heart's center bearing a sword and shield emblem, glowing under Laine's activated Spiritual Energy.

Once it was completely finished, Mogiana's hand relaxed and released, the Lake God Witch gently panting, her face flushed with redness.

"Please rest well, my princess." Laine covered her with a blanket and was about to leave. He always felt odd staying in this Prayer Room, especially when he turned his back on the statue of the Lake Fairy; he always felt a mocking and teasing gaze on him. But it seemed like a delusion once he turned around.

Mogiana nodded gently, weakly saying: "Goodnight~ Laine~"

"Goodnight~"

......

Early the next day, Mogiana rode the Unicorn Hilphain and left. The Lake God Witch was returning to her Lake God Tower located in the Duchy of Kakasong.

Laine got up a bit later. The Baron dressed himself and gave Ollica, who looked well-nourished with a lustrous glow, a gentle kiss before heading outside the castle.

"Where are you going, dear?" Just as he was about to leave the castle, Laine was stopped by Veronica. The Jialan Witch had an enchanting blush on her face. The previous night, she had arranged a special time with the dark elf and was perfectly satisfied after everything was done. Now she was rubbing her waist as she headed to rest.

"I'm going to find my brother. There's something I need to discuss with him." Laine replied warmly.

"Since you're going to see Brother Angerong, I won't disturb you. I need to hurry with building my Wizard Tower, and it will probably take a year or two." Veronica nodded and walked briskly toward the site where the Wizard Tower was being constructed.

Following the Xinong River, he arrived at Red Fish Village north of it, then followed the newly built road into the depths of the Charon Forest.

Spring in Charon Forest was filled with birds and blooms. The Brittanian climate was mild and pleasant and with summer not yet arrived, Laine thought that the elves had every reason to settle colonially here on a large scale in the past.

About two hours later.

Deep within the forest, in an unobtrusive woodland canyon, a clear stream flowed out between the gorge. The path leading into the gorge was blocked by numerous stones; the canyon's owner did not welcome outsiders. At least, the heads of two green-skinned leaders and seven Beastman Beast Kings made that clear.

The canyon's vegetation was pristine, with dramatic cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and clear streams gurgling past. Ancient vines clung along the rocks, and fish swam in the brook.

"I like this place; I like its tranquility, its beauty; it allows me to find peace." By the creek, Laine and Angerong were roasting meat, with two Emperor's Guards flipping the grill. A huge wild boar was roasting on the spit.

Laine and Angerong each held a leg of the boar, with a large wooden cup in their other hand, and a massive beer keg beside them.

The Imperial Guard leader, "Big Guy," sat by the stream without his helmet, munching hungrily on the boar meat. Everyone listened to Laine as he recounted his battle against the Chaos Great Demon.

"A Great Nurgle Demon, huh?" Angerong spoke softly, tearing into a large chunk of golden brown roast pork: "As you know, I was once a Demon Prince of Khorne. Before that, I was the World-Devourer Primarch. The number of Great Demons that died by my hand is countless. Laine, my brother, you did well. You've succeeded in your first kill of a Chaos Great Demon. As Primarchs, who among us brothers hasn't slain a dozen or so Chaos Great Demons?"

Big Guy also nodded appreciatively: "Prince Laine, you're only twenty-six, and defeating a Chaos Great Demon is a remarkable achievement."

"It's not something worth bragging about," Laine said, taking a hefty bite of pork, his face not showing particular pride: "First of all, the Magic Winds at that time were very weak, limiting the Great Nurgle Demon Wound Master's power. Furthermore, the confrontations between the Lady of the Lake and the Evil God further weakened the demon's strength. With so many Holy Grail Knights and White Wolf Knights attacking together, and with the aid of the White Wolf Prince-Elector Saint Sword and Duke Lorne's help, it was only after paying such a significant price that I managed to barely banish the Great Nurgle Demon."
