I was beet red by the time the kissing session was finally over. What should I do now? Should I continue holding her like this? Or should I let go?

She seemed to find my expression amusing because she suddenly punched me on the shoulder. "Why do you look like that, big bro?"

I asked, "This is a one-time thing, right Beiming?"

"Mn. I promise I won’t make such an improper request anymore…" Beiming Xue said with cheeks as rosy as mine. "I’ll be your younger sister even after I become a granny, okay?"

Beiming Xue immediately humphed angrily. "Hmph! You’re worried that I’ll keep hounding you like a nuisance, don’t you?"

I curled my lips. "Of course not. I just… don’t want you to sink deeper than you already are."

Beiming Xue shot me a long look, bending down and kissing me beside the lips once more. She let out a giggle and said, "Don’t worry, big bro. Beiming will leave if you truly don’t want her around[1]."

I sighed on the inside as I watched her beautiful face. I couldn’t possibly do that, could I?

I shivered for an instant before turning her down decisively. "Absolutely not!"

While holding me tightly, she said, "Your bed is the warmest, big bro…"

I said exasperatedly, "Beiming, you promised me you wouldn’t do this. It’s bad enough that we kissed, but sleeping together on the same bed? Don’t you care about your reputation?"

I continued chanting the Three Character Classic with my eyes closed. If I shut off my visual sense and filled my head with noise, I should be able to survive the night just fine. You’re just sleeping with your sister, I told myself. You’ll be lesser than human if you can't endure even this level of temptation, so persevere!

For a short time, Beiming Xue too closed her eyes in an attempt to accumulate sleepiness. However, she soon opened them again and looked at me, asking, "Are you asleep, big bro?"

"Yep."

"Okay. I’ll listen to you, big brother. You must log out and keep me company for a bit everyday though…"

After I sent Xinran back to her room and helped her put on her gaming equipment, I returned to my room and drank half a glass of water. A new war was on the horizon, and our greatest enemies were clearly confident in their chances of winning. It was yet going to be another difficult war!
