Villain's transmigration: Breaking every heroine into a Yandere-Chapter 93: Staying in an inn
Leaving the crowd, wondering where the rest of the supposed students were, Noah and his group went ahead to look for an inn to stay for today.
The sun was almost about to set; by this time, everyone who came before them would most likely be getting to their inn to better prepare for tomorrow.
As they entered the inner area of the island, more and more places with large boards printed with shining letters appeared, all of which were written "Inn". That’s all.
There were other things too. This place lacked nothing. Beside the inn, there were casinos, currency exchange merchants, auction houses and even challenge arenas too.
"Whoa ~ is this really just an island?" Noelle gasped with excitement.
Noah knew of them already, so he wasn’t that excited, but this was the first time, Noelle ever set foot outside like this.
Her whole life was spent with noble banquets and training with her master or in the arena.
Noah did not say anything, and let her enjoy this moment.
He was wondering where to stay, even though he had a place in mind.
He won’t stay in a lowly place as a noble for sure.
But at the same time, he was wondering where his MC would be staying. And also his fiancée.
’That was so long ago, I don’t even remember the name of the hotel they were staying in.’
He wanted to meet or at least have some knowledge of their whereabouts, but alas, a small detail he had written down 3 years ago... he did not have a photographic memory to remember it.
Well, he will meet them tomorrow anyway, so a few hours... he can wait till then.
Though he did have an idea of where he could find his mc.
A poor commoner like him will obviously be in the fighting arena to earn something.
’He must be in the arena right now... should I go and destroy him there?’
Noah thought for a second, even planning to go there for real, but he stopped.
’Nah... let him enjoy for a while. I can at least do that much for my dear protagonist.’
He wasn’t so heartless that he would go and ruin the little money his protagonist had earned from his hard work.
Looking around more, he was searching for a specific inn "The Noble’s Accord".
The most expensive and the best inn on this island.
As the name says, it was solely made for nobles and someone who can pay without thinking too much about their wallet.
This island, which was actually like a city in itself naturally had many inns suitable for everyone.
There are not just students here, but merchants as well.
So they need some place to stay here.
Arcania Academy allows anything in here, you can start a business and even provide work, but that is only for the merchants.
No noble can set foot here and try to monopolise everything using their influence.
They can start a business too, but if they start claiming this place as one of their territory, then they will forever be exempt from setting foot here.
This was a free place and will remain like one.
That’s why people love it here where there is no politics or geographical warfare.
In short, this was a fair place for anyone to shine.
"Where are we heading?"
After walking for a long time, Noelle asked. She couldn’t understand why they had been walking for more than 10 minutes now.
"A good place. You will love it there." Noah said without thinking much.
He then pointed his finger at the tallest building they had seen till now and said,
"Right there."
It was a huge hotel. Even though a world of fantasy, he had given it a very modern twist.
He was a modern guy so it was easier for him to write that way. It was one of the reasons why people of this era use some modern keywords, and don’t speak like those medieval period people.
All of this was because of him alone.
"The Noble’s Accord? That’s... so small." Noelle blurted out after giving a quick look at the hotel.
But nobody said anything to her. Rose did not mind too much, she was well aware of how Noelle had lived her life.
Milim thought the same too, but she knew the world outside.
For Noah, it was all the same. A guy who can live inside a dark room for years with only cup noodles and bear... anything is good for him.
"Not everything will be like a castle, sis. That’s already the best we can get here."
Compared to a castle or even the palace of their dukedom, this seemingly big hotel for others was actually very small to Noelle.
She also did not say anything after that. She knew that not everyone was like them, but she did get her hopes up when Noah said she would love it.
But anything was fine if she could stay like this with her brother.
The outside of the Inn was surrounded by people, most of whom were commoners who were there to glance upon the glorious life of someone rich. But they were all plenty far away from the hotel.
Four giant guards were stationed outside to keep any poor person from even getting close to the hotel.
As Noah and the rest went near them, no one dared to object at all.
Just their aura and their clothes were enough to tell who they were.
They entered the inn without any issue, and as they went further in, the receptionist greeted them with a deep bow and polite smile.
"Welcome, my lord and ladies, to ’The Noble’s Accord’. How may I help you?"
She was calm and composed, as if it were her everyday task to communicate with nobles.
Noah was pleased with this, cause he clearly remembers how he wrote the incident at the other inn with his protagonist there.
It wasn’t hard to guess what happened there. Anywhere the protagonist goes, trouble follows.
He was mocked for being a commoner by some baron’s child, and Niva was also trashed for being a fallen noble.
One thing to be noted was that hardly anyone knew about Niva and her identity, but a random Baron’s child knew of that.
No wonder his work failed. It was doomed from the beginning.
The rest was quite simple, the receptionist sided with the noble obviously, but then the old armour kicked in, MC beat them all, which was witnessed by one of the protectors of the academy, who soon stepped forward and calmed things down.
The result...
They all apologised to the almighty plot armour wielder.
Gladly none of that happened here.
"We would like to get 3 rooms for tonight. The best ones you have."
When he said that, Noelle instinctively tightened her grip on his shoulder.
She knew that the smaller room wasn’t for her, but for Rose.
A tuck came in her heart when she imagined that. She had already held back for so long, but not anymore.
Milim, on the other hand, couldn’t understand why he would say such a thing.
She even wondered if he was only asking for the three beside her.
She was about to say one more for her too, but then she realised something.
Noelle was his sister, but Rose? She was his maid, and she did remember some rumours she heard when she was looking for information on Noah.
A soft blush appeared on her face when she realised that.
Even though she had heard of a few things, she never thought she would come across one like this.
It was a very strange and unbelievable feeling.
As for Noah, his thoughts lingered on one thing.
Why spend more when one isn’t needed anyway?
After being spoiled by Eleanor every night, he can’t sleep alone anymore.
The receptionist maintained her exposure and said, "On it, my lord."
And then walked ahead, signalling them to follow her.
At the same time, they were heading for their room.
A few more people came out of the portal.
They were the people who were knocked out by Noah.
Among them was Lucian too.
He was the last one to wake up and the one who was the most affected by Noah’s spiritual pressure.
Just a moment ago, he was showing off his high cultivation base and the next second...
’He only placed his hand on me?’
He doesn’t remember what happened after that point.
What he saw after Noah placed his hand on his shoulder was two middle-aged dudes waking him up.
He gritted his teeth, clenching his fist till veins popped up on it.
It was humiliating.
Even though no one said a word to him, some things can be understood even without uttering a single word.
The respect and admiration they held in their eyes when he landed here and the shift in the way they see him now were completely different.
Along with confusion, they held no admiration for him anymore.
Just fear for Noah.
This developed an even greater hatred inside his heart for him.
’Noah... Just you wait. I will crush you in the test tomorrow. This humiliation... I won’t forget that ever.’
