Villainess X Villain: They are obsessed with each other!-Chapter 91 -: 90 Even if the world is empty, I can fill the wolrd for you.[3]
Julius looked at her gently and kept talking.
"All of this wasn’t just for show," he said.
"I started planning everything four months ago, the day you said yes to our first date."
Rosalina blinked, surprised.
"First, I learned how to drive a horse cart. It took me a long time, but Alfred helped me a lot."
" Then I learned how to grow vegetables, which plants in the wild are safe to eat, and how to use natural things for seasoning."
"After that, I learned how to cook. That was the hardest part. For the last two months, after my classes at the academy, I worked right here in this restaurant."
He gave a small, shy smile.
"And yesterday... I spent a hundred million gold coins to make sure the whole city stayed empty today."
"The money came from my mother. She gave me full access to her account... and I used it all."
Julius laughed softly. "When she finds out I spent everything on one date, it’s going to be quite a scene."
He looked straight into her eyes.
"I wanted to show you one thing, Rose. Even if the whole world is empty... I can fill it for you."
Rosalina sat there, completely quiet. She couldn’t find any words.
Ever since Julius had suddenly proposed to her, she had worried he might be joking.
But then he told her all his plans, every little detail.
That was the moment she finally believed he was serious, that he loved her just as much as she loved him.
But this... this was way more than she had ever imagined.
Her nose turned red at the tip. Her eyes started to get watery.
She tried to hold her lips together in a pout, but her eyebrows dropped.
She looked like she was about to cry.
No one had ever cared about her this much.
Not since her mom passed away. This warm feeling inside her chest was completely new.
"I... I need to go to the bathroom," she said quickly and stood up.
Julius stood up too. He walked over and opened the door for her like a gentleman.
Rosalina stepped out.
The second she was outside the room, she broke into a run toward the bathroom.
Julius didn’t even have time to show her the way before she disappeared around the corner.
Rosalina couldn’t hold it in anymore.
"Sob~sob~sob."
She started crying like a baby even before she reached the bathroom.
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she pushed open the door and sank to her knees on the floor.
"Hic~ sniff~" She hiccuped between sobs.
"No one... hic... no one has ever loved me this much..."
She rubbed her eyes with her hands, making them even redder.
"I thought... sniff... no one would love me because I’m bad... hic... but he loves me for who I am."
Her heart felt so full. She was really touched.
For the first time, she felt truly grateful.
Her family had always treated her with cold interest, and that made her push everyone away.
She even hated them more than she loved them.
But now, this warm, tingly feeling in her chest made her feel like she had stepped out of a dark shell and seen the real world for the first time.
And it was beautiful. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
After crying for a while, she pulled out her handkerchief and wiped her face.
She stood up slowly and looked in the mirror.
Her eyes were puffy and red, and the tip of her nose was bright red too.
"Oh no..." she whispered.
She quickly took out her makeup kit and started fixing her face.
She patted on powders and gently covered the redness.
When she was done, she stared at herself in the mirror.
"Today will be the last day I hide my feelings," she said softly to her reflection.
She took a deep breath and murmured, "From tomorrow... we will be a couple."
With that, she put everything back in her bag.
She took one more look in the mirror and brought back her usual cold expression on her face.
This would be her last day of acting cold toward Julius.
After fixing her makeup, Rosalina opened the bathroom door and started walking back toward the private room.
On the way, she kept practicing in her head what she should say next.
Should she apologize for acting so cold?
Or should she run straight to him and give him a big hug?
Maybe it would be better if they went to a quiet lake where the moon reflected on the water.
That would feel so romantic.
Or what if she held his hand and told him she had loved him since she was eight years old? Wouldn’t that be even sweeter?
She thought about it again and again, trying to decide the best way.
Just then...
"Feeling okay?" Julius’s voice suddenly rang out.
He was walking toward her from the front, his brows pulled together in a worried frown.
"Hmm!" Rosalina answered shortly and kept walking toward the room.
Julius looked closely at her face. Her nose and eyes were still a little red. Was she sick?
"If you’re not feeling well, should I take you..."
Before he could finish, Rosalina snapped,
"No!"
"I mean... I’m okay," Rosalina said quickly.
Her words came out a little shaky, but she tried to hide it by lifting her chin high.
’No matter what, I must surprise him,’ she thought.
She started walking back toward the room.
But before she went inside, she stopped and turned to him.
"By the way... what’s the last destination?" she asked.
Julius was following right behind her. He suddenly stopped.
"Well... it might sound old-fashioned," he said, scratching the back of his head. He looked a bit embarrassed.
"This is my first real date in my life, so I wasn’t sure what was best."
He had read many articles from love experts, but most of them just said to book a hotel room.
’They probably think love is only about... that,’ he thought.
He smiled softly and continued, "So... I booked the lake at the town square instead."
His voice came out a little shy.
Rosalina didn’t say anything right away.
She just gave him a small, warm smile and walked back into the room.
