Villainess X Villain: They are obsessed with each other!-Chapter 54 -: 53 The villain’s first apearence.
Rosalina slid out from behind the desk, brushing her hands together like she’d just finished building something unbreakable.
"Memorize the theorem and practice it," she said firmly.
"I’ve already created the link. The moment you activate it, it will connect automatically."
Julius nodded, eyes glued to the paper in his hands.
He traced the wild loops of equations with his finger, still half in disbelief.
’No matter how much I think about it... you’re insane, Rose,’ he thought.
’These formulas? This structure? Nobody should expect something this advanced from a fifteen-year-old girl.’
He let out a quiet mental snort.
’Hamh. If that trash didn’t have his stupid overpowered system...’
He stopped mid-thought. A memory clicked into place like a missing puzzle piece.
’Come to think of it... he never actually beat me. Or Rose.’
’After the long, bloody war with the Zlycons ended, that guy suddenly became the new patriarch of the Thorne family.’
’Right at that moment, when everyone thought the dust had finally settled, Rosalina had stepped forward.’
She’d waited years for the chance.
Revenge. The Thornes had killed her mother.
So she declared war.
And she almost ’won’.
She was a walking storm back then, cold, precise, unstoppable. The Thorne family was crumbling under her alone.
Until ’he’ showed up.
’The dragon that trash had killed during the Zlycon war, impressed by what it called his "pure heart", chose ’him’ instead.’
’Gave him its power. Combined with that ridiculous system and the endless country-sized harem cheering him on... he somehow turned the tide.’
Rosalina was defeated.
Broken. Bleeding. Surrounded.
’And right before the final blow, she looked up at him with pure contempt... and smiled.’
Julius’s face softened as the scene replayed in his head. His expression turned almost dreamy, ecstatic.
He stole a quick glance at the real Rosalina standing a few steps away, arms crossed, eyebrow raised.
"What?" she snapped. "Why are you staring at me like that?"
Julius blinked, then broke into a soft, innocent smile.
"Nothing, honey."
But inside his mind the memory kept running like a favorite movie scene he’d watched a thousand times.
"Give up if you don’t want to die, Rosalina Valentina."
That trash stood over her, voice cold, looking down like she was already finished.
Rosalina was panting, blood streaking her face, using a cracked boulder to keep herself upright. But her eyes burned with defiance.
She laughed, low, bitter, and beautiful.
"Hahaha... I didn’t think I would be defeated by the likes of you."
Everyone thought she was finally giving up.
That trash reached his hand out, smug.
"You can come with me."
Julius remembered how badly he’d wanted to jump through the page and punch that smirk off his face.
’Did he really think my Rose was like one of those sl*ts in his country-sized harem?’
But she didn’t hesitate.
She slapped his hand away so hard the sound echoed.
"Keep your dirty hands off me, you peasant!"
"You—!!"
The entire country-sized harem gasped in outrage.
Rosalina just laughed again, louder this time, wilder.
"I thought I could handle this trash myself... that’s why I told you not to interfere. But it seems you didn’t believe me, did you?"
She spoke to the empty air... but everyone who knew the story understood exactly who she was talking to.
She lifted her chin, blood dripping from her lip, eyes shining.
"If you’re already here... then come and lend me a hand.....hubby."
Julius’s thoughts drifted deeper into that favorite scene, the one he replayed like a victory highlight reel.
’And that’s the moment when my parents’ hard-earned money came into the picture,’ he thought with a private grin.
’Because right then, the most fearsome villain in the entire TST was finally introduced.’
Julius Augustus Hayes.
A character literally inspired by ’him’.
He could still picture it perfectly: the battlefield frozen in shock as he stepped onto the scene like some untouchable god.
Everyone, soldiers, that trash protagonist, even the wind itself, went dead silent.
Then they dropped. To their knees. Gasping. Trembling.
He didn’t even have to say a word.
He just walked straight to her.
Rosalina, bleeding, bruised, but still burning with that unbreakable fire, saw him and instantly threw herself into his arms.
She hugged him so tight it felt like she’d been waiting centuries.
Her lips crashed against his again and again, desperate, needy, like she was trying to make up for every lost second.
"I missed you so much," she whispered between kisses.
"Where were you for so long?"
He held her gently, like she was made of glass.
"Got a little busy," he murmured back, already carrying her away from the chaos toward somewhere safe.
’And then... the best part.’
Julius’s inner smile turned downright wicked as he remembered.
’He turned around, looked that smug trash protagonist dead in the eyes... and started with the harem.’
One by one.
The so-called "country-sized" collection of girls who thought they were untouchable?
Gone. Massacred right in front of him. No mercy. No speeches. Just clean, satisfying work.
Then finally, ’him’.
That trash went down too.
’Of course... it didn’t stick.’
Because of that stupidly overpowered system. He went back in time, like none of it ever happened.
Julius let out a quiet mental sigh.
’Sigh... if it wasn’t for that cheat, everything would’ve been perfect.’
"Hey?"
Rosalina’s voice snapped him back to the present.
He blinked. She was standing right in front of him now, arms crossed, head tilted, studying his face like he’d grown a second head.
"What are you thinking about?" she asked.
"You’ve been smiling to yourself like an idiot for a solid minute."
"Ah..." Julius scratched the back of his neck, cheeks going a little pink. "You noticed, babe?"
"No... I mean yes." She huffed. "You zoned out completely. What’s with that goofy look?"
For a split second she wondered: ’Does he also get those annoying mini-visions of himself like I do? The ones with different personalities that won’t shut up?’
Julius chuckled awkwardly.
"Haha... well... I was just imagining our wedding, that’s all."
Rosalina’s eyes widened. For one tiny, shining heartbeat they started to sparkle, bright, hopeful, happy.
"Really...?"
But then she caught herself.
"Hamh!!" She jerked her chin up, cheeks flaming. "Don’t get ahead of yourself! I’m not marrying you!"
Inside her head, though?
A completely different voice was screaming at full volume:
*I’M MARRYING YOU!! I’M MARRYING YOU RIGHT NOW!!*
