Villainess X Villain: They are obsessed with each other!-Chapter 12 -: 11 The Zlycons.
Julius stepped out of the academy’s main building with a big grin.
He had just sweet-talked Rosalina, and now he was heading straight to the club building next door.
As he walked across the campus, students were everywhere, laughing, chatting, rushing to class.
But not a single person looked at him. Not even a glance.
"It’s like I’m wearing an invisibility cloak," Julius muttered under his breath. 3
"If Rosalina walked this same path, the whole crowd would freeze, roll out a red carpet, and probably start throwing flowers. Me? Nothing. Zero stares."
He scratched his head. "We’re supposed to have the same reputation across all three continents... yet I’m basically a ghost."
"The author just shoved me into the story way too late. No wonder nobody cares!"
Still grumbling, he pushed open the door to the club building.
The walls were covered in colorful posters shouting about every club you could imagine.
Then one poster grabbed his attention:
*Dawn Club*
The picture showed a bunch of girls posing with perfect smiles, curvy figures, and sparkling eyes.
Bright colorful hair, pink, blue, purple, you name it. The kind of poster most guys would stop and drool over.
Julius? He just clicked his tongue in disgust.
"Ugh, there she is... Trash’s second harem girl," he said, glaring at the girl front and center.
"This is the one my Rose actually felt jealous of? Seriously?"
He leaned closer, eyebrows scrunched.
"Colorful hair and fancy eyes don’t automatically make you beautiful, idiot. Compared to my Rose? She’s a shiny diamond. This girl? She’s... well... a pile of—"
He stopped himself, snorted, and shook his head.
"Trash really thinks this counts as top-tier? Pathetic. My Rose wipes the floor with her without even trying."
Julius turned away from the poster, smirking to himself.
"Right. Time to find something actually worth my time in this club mess." 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
He cracked his knuckles and walked deeper into the building, already planning his next move.
"Almost every new novel has an academy arc these days, right?" he muttered. "And guess what? This story has one too. Classic."
He reached the landing and paused for a second, looking around the empty hallway.
"Normally the place is all peaceful and boring... until the main guy steps inside."
Then boom, hidden secrets, ancient evils, enemies of humanity, world-ending threats, the whole package."
He gave a low chuckle. "Well... I’m already here. And let’s be honest... I’m pretty evil myself, aren’t I?"
His smirk grew wider as he kept walking.
"But here’s the funny part," he said under his breath.
"I wasn’t even in the original draft. The author had another villain in mind."
He snorted. "The Zlycons."
"They’re the official villains for now, alongside me and my Rose, of course. Not the absolute top bosses, but definitely not pushovers either."
"Strong enough to cause real trouble. Dangerous enough to make people scared."
Julius cracked his neck and grinned like a kid who just found a new toy.
"So yeah... the academy thinks it’s safe and normal right now. Cute. Wait till they realize the real monsters have already checked in."
Julius kept walking down the hallway, still muttering to himself like he was narrating his own life.
"So the world is split in two," he said.
"Three huge floating continents up here where humans live like kings. And down below? Four giant stationary continents full of Zlycons."
He pictured them in his head.
"They look almost exactly like us, same faces, same bodies, but with pointy elf ears and a forehead that’s just a tiny bit wider."
"Cute little differences, right? Except they hate us."
He smirked. "In the story called The Severed Thread, the Zlycons want one thing. To take over our three floating continents."
"To turn every human into their personal slave. And to live happily ever after in our fancy sky homes."
Julius rolled his eyes. "Their cultivation method is a little... weaker than ours. Inferior, you could say."
"But don’t let that fool you, they’re still scary strong. Why? Because they have guardian beasts."
His voice dropped like he was telling a secret. "And the strongest one? A massive dragon they worship like a god."
The only person who ever beat that thing was ’him’ , that trash protagonist."
"Well... my Rose could probably solo it too, but come on, he’s the main character. Plot armor and all that."
Julius chuckled. "Killing the dragon was supposed to be this epic arc. According to the wiki, fans went crazy over it."
"Me? I was bored out of my mind. Why? Because my Rose disappeared from the story for like fifty Chapters straight. No mention. Nothing. Total disrespect."
He shook his head. "Anyway, classic villain logic: if you want to conquer the world, why start small?"
"Just attack the most prestigious academy first. Every story does it. And the Zlycons? Same playbook."
Julius finally reached the door at the end of the hall.
He grabbed the knob.
"Here we go," he whispered with a grin.
"Time to see what kind of trouble is waiting on the other side."
He pushed.
*Creak...*
The door slowly swung open.
