Cataina was still looking at Helion as she still didn’t answer our questions on why she was here.

"Why are you here again, Lady Rigas?"

Helion asked as he looked at Cataina who was still blushing at while looking at him.

"I-Father wanted me to join the hunt since he also taught me how to fight and how to hunt some monsters in our territory."

She said and she even bow her head.

I almost choked when I saw her smiling when she was hding her face from Helion who wasn’t even looking at her.

"I didn’t see you wearing that clothes when we left, Lady Rigas. " I asked as I looked at her appearance.

She glared at me for a second, but then switch her expression when she look at Helion while still not answering my question about why she is here.

"We were late when we got here as my maid forgot my clothes in the carriage." She said while she was still smiling shyly and sweetly at Helion who didn’t even give her a glance as she answered my question, but wasn’t looking at me.

Helion looked at me as he signaled me that we should go and he looks bored.

"Can I come with you, Your Highness?"

I almost snapped at what I heard.

The disrepect!

I am still here and yet she acted like I didn’t exist.

"That’s very bold of you to ask, Lady Rigas."

Helion said in a deep voice as he looked at Cataina who still have those stupid smile that she only use to plaster when Helion was looking at her.

"We used to this one when you were in our territory."

Cataina said or rather whispered to herself, but it wasn’t soft enough for us not to here it.

"Pardon?"

Helion asked which made her lift her head again and there her innocent face again.

"We used to do this one back then, Your Highness. You and me with my father’s people used to haunt back then."

She said while she shyly look down to hide the redness on her cheeks.

"I don’t remember anything you were saying."

Helion said to her looked at like he was felling me we need to leave.

Cataina didn’t finished what she was about to say when someone arrived.

"Your Highnesses.."

We all looked at Ernie and Jarnus who just appeared out of nowhere.

"The emperor was looking for you."

Jarnus said as he and Ernie both looked at Cataina who look pissed at the two.

"Let’s go."

"You should come with us too, Lady Rigas since it is very dangerous in this place."

Ernie said as he asked her to come with us, but the latter looks hesitant and was even glaring at him.

Helion said as he hold my hand and as we leave the place with Ernie and Jarnus, while Lady Cataina was left there alone.

I didn’t bother looking back at her as it seems like the emperor has summoned us for something important.

And besides her knights has arrived already to protect her from any harm.

The emperor said as he was with her father who was not looking at them, but instead he seems like he was looking around.

"You summoned us, Father?"

Helion asked the emperor who looks worried with something.

"Some of the knights spotted something strange in the middle of this forest."

The emperor said as he begun on looking at the place where it looks very dark when it’s still afternoon.

They all look when they heard a scream came from the opposite direction where they were looking at.

Erni and Jarnus run towards the direction where they left a while ago.

Helion and I looked at each other as we also run after Jarnus and Ernie. We both know that it was Cataina who was screaming.

When we got there, she was surrounded by some big monsters.

That was odd.

These monsters only awake by the smell of human’s blood.

And I can’t see any blood near her.

The knights were struggling protecting her as she just keep on screaming.

And she said awhile ago that she used to come with Helion to hunt when she was young.

Ernie and Jarnus launches attacking the montser and so Helion who was also beside me starts walking where she is.

I attacked one of the monsters when I saw it hiding behind on of the bushes and the others seems to be very busy suppressing the monsters from keep on coming again.

I look at Cataina who was crying and screaming in fear.

Why are the monster keeps on going out.

I slammed one of the monster and strike it using my power and went closer to where Cataina is.

"I need to take you to the safe place."

I said as I looked at her, but gone was the scared lady that I saw a while ago.

She slapped my hand that was holding her right arm.

"Don’t touch and could you please go away?"

She said which surprises me.

Why would she do that and where was the scared looking she had a while ago?

All I could see was anger and irritation all over her face as she was looking at me.

I was about to say something when-

They all looked at Cataina who were asking for their help. I almost rolled my eyes as I squat and hold her on her arms again and teleport us to where the emperor and my father are.

But when we arrived there they were already gone.

"What was wrong with you Lady Rigas!"

I said as I use an authority in my tone for her to know who has the upper hand in here.

"What’s wrong with me?"

She said as she pushed me down on the ground as she stood up.

"Why do always have to interfere?"

She said as I was standing up from where she push me.

She didn’t finished her sentence when we heard some footsteps.

She suddenly said when some of people arrived and they look confused at what was happening.

We both look when we saw Lord Rigas rushing to his daughter who was now looking pitiful.

"The emperor and the others are still in the forest, some knights said that the monsters has been flocking there."
