Chapter 94: Return to Dreadmoor

Julian’s eyes twinkled.

Despite the fact that he already rated Lilith extremely high as only the second S Rank Sovereign of Dreadmoor, he didn’t truly know how strong she was till now.

After looking through the comprehensive encyclopedia of her powers, the way Julian looked at her didn’t change but his respect for her grew.

Seeing how focused and intently he was looking at her, Lilith smiled and blushed, making her beauty radiate like blossoming flowers in the morning as she asked. "What are you thinking about?"

Julian looked at her for a few seconds, then he smiled and answered. "I’m thinking of how beautiful you are and how lucky I am to have you".

Lilith blushed.

Julian already thought. ’F*ck her Omen Reading skill!’

’If she doesn’t point it out herself then that means she doesn’t mind that I’m lying. Heck, it seems that she even loves it when I lie to her, so why not?’

’I’ll only stop when she starts complaining’.

He leaned towards the Vampire, dragging her closer to his body as he cuddled with her in the spooning position.

They were both still naked though it was already dawn.

Still laying down on the blanket, they looked at the distant horizon in the East, watching the darkness recede completely as the first rays of sunlight emerged from the horizon.

Seeing the rising sun, Julian remembered something he learned as a kid. ’The sun rises from the East, and sets in the West’.

’It’s the same here in Gomorra’.

’Does this mean this is a planet just like Earth? Is Gomorra in the Milky Way Galaxy too, rotating around our Sun?’

These thoughts swirled through his mind and quickly disappeared, replaced by other thoughts as he began thinking of his next plan after returning to Dreadmoor.

Today was the last day of his honeymoon period since the events of Falaniondor.

After today, he had no intention of procrastinating anymore.

He would man up and face his challenges directly, going out to seek more ways to quickly get EXP and become even stronger.

Of the options that he had in mind after the past few days of thinking, he was leaning towards the option of going to Dragon’s Tooth to hunt the Qi Beasts in the tallest mountain in the world in his quest to get more EXP.

And now, after learning about the existence of Blood Trees and Blood Fruits, he felt even more eager to go to the mountain to find them for Lilith though he doubted if he currently had the strength to climb to the peak of the mountain.

Besides, he had Dragon Bloodline now, and that was the home of Dragons. They resided at the peak of the mountain.

Maybe going to Dragon’s Tooth was going to result in him having a fortuitous encounter that’ll enable him to gain a great haul of EXP.

Julian was ready to grasp at any opportunity that he got to gain EXP.

Before that though, he thought of the only other way he knew to increase his EXP and level up again which was his DP.

After the events of Falaniondor, after leveling up all the way to Level 30, he felt briefly satisfied at the moment and didn’t feel any rush to use up his DP for EXP since he knew that it was not going to take him to Level 35.

But now, he saw no reason to hold them back anymore. It was time to use up all his Debauchery Points.

’1000 DP is now equivalent to 100,000,000 EXP’. His eyes gleamed as he made the calculations in his head.

’10,000 DP will give me 1 billion EXP, and I currently have over 70,000 DP’.

’That’s just 7 billion EXP, not enough to level up once’. Julian felt a bit bummed at the result of his calculation but he didn’t hesitate to do it.

He spent 70,000 DP instantly.

DING!

~----~

[Congratulations! You have purchased 7,000,000,000 EXP for 70,000 DP!]

[Current DP: 2802]

...

[EXP to Level 31: 17,995,619,000/24,123,232,000]

~----~

’6 more billion EXP to get to Level 32’. Julian clicked his tongue.

The more he leveled up, the more he realized that having dual bloodlines was not as sweet as he thought anymore.

His dual bloodlines literally tightened his requirements for each level up, making it record-breaking in the history of Gomorra.

It was already this high at just C Rank, Julian dared not think of how much EXP he would need to level up after becoming a B Rank and then an A Rank Awakened.

’I really have my work cut out for me’. He could feel the pressure already weighing down on his shoulders.

As the Lord of Dreadmoor, he had no use being weak.

The events in Falaniondor was a catalyst and Julian had no doubt that a chain reaction was going to follow.

Though he didn’t know the exact reaction to his return across the world, he knew it definitely created a storm and he knew that undercurrents were now churning in the dark.

To survive these undercurrents, he had to become strong enough. Relying on Sir Alfred was not enough to save his life.

But the problem was that getting strong was hard, very hard with his EXP requirements. The stronger he got, the harder it was to get even stronger.

’But when has life ever been easy?’ Julian chuckled in his mind. ’Back on Earth, it was a struggle for money but now I’m rich but still weak’.

’Working as a bouncer, I already gave up back then’.

’But this time, I won’t give up’.

’I won’t give in’. His eyes gleamed with ruthless ambition. ’I’ll do anything it takes to get EXP, even if that means committing slaughter on the level of genocide’.

’Afterall, this world already believes I’m the villain, so why not?’

’I’ll show them what a true villain is!’

...

After that, the Demon and Vampire finally packed up and had their bath in a lake just beside the hill before returning to Dreadmoor.

Lilith returned back to hibernation to further recover and digest her gains from eating the Primordial Blood Fruit.

As for Julian, he faced life as Zaratul once again.

He didn’t cower, he embraced the pressure, the expectations, and the danger that came with the identity.

He embraced his life as the Archvillain of Gomorra again.
