Villain Cultivator-Chapter 673 Samael’s Warning
Chapter 673 – Samael's Warning
Miaomiao kept building more harvesters. The cute catopuses popped out of the Command Center and harvested the Mithril Ore like robots. Yet, they MUNYAed and laughed like children, which soothed Miaomiao and onlookers' hearts.
The number stopped increasing when the population reached 100.
DING
<You have reached the population cap.>
<You must construct additional Pylons!>
"Here we go. I miss this meme sentence."
Miaomiao shook his head and laughed. He stopped producing catopus harvesters and turned his attention to the remaining free building tickets and his new assets.
He converted Dao Stone bills and PACT bills into system assets and continued expanding his kingdom.
Miaomiao exchanged 4,000 Dao Stones into two Divine Gas Refineries, which were constructed near the Command Center.
As soon as the two refinery buildings appeared, the building revealed an additional detail.
…
Divine Gas Refinery
This building produces 1,000 Dao Stone per day for the faction owner by default if no worker has been assigned here. If you assign harvesters to this building, they will automatically collect crystalized gas and transfer them to the Command Center. You will obtain Dao Stones for the trouble.
Maximum Assignable Units: 100
…
Miaomiao raised his brows. Now that he kept building more system structures, the rules and the template of this game became clearer.
Two free Pylon Towers were erected to the east and southeast of the main city to free up more space to build and expand the invisible population cap.
As soon as the two Pylon Towers were added to the army, Miaomiao could build more harvesters again. He used the time acceleration domain and trained 100 more catopuses.
When the number of catopuses reached 200, the system warned Miaomiao again.
DING
<You have reached the population cap.>
<You must construct additional Pylons!>
Miaomiao nodded as he figured out the formula.
"One Pylon Tower increases the population cap by 50. The other buildings don't increase the cap."
He assigned the newly trained catopuses to the two refineries right away.
Miaomiao's wives and Ma Moxi continued to observe what Miaomiao was doing. They watched how 100 newly trained catopuses separated into two groups and disappeared into two refinery buildings.
A minute later, the catopuses held something in their mouths, and they spat them out in the front yard of the Command Center Temple.
Ding
<Your faction has earned 1 Dao Stone.>
<Your faction has earned 1 Dao Stone.>
<Your faction has earned 1 Dao Stone.>
"Huh?"
Ma Moxi figured out the rules now, but Miaomiao's wives were still baffled by the results.
"I thought we could only gain Dao Stones by waiting for the daily distribution," Lilith couldn't understand anything.
"This is a trap for the uncultured cultivators. Only the well-educated god can find out this secret of Pangu's game!" Miaomiao laughed.
"What? Is there something that we don't know?!"
"Yeah, a lot. This will take time to explain, and I'm short on time. Just leave everything to me and Moxi. We understand the rules, so we can handle the planning. You girls just concentrate on getting stronger so that I will be stronger as well."
Lilith and the girls looked at each other for a while, but they gave up on asking Miaomiao.
After the girls and most of the onlookers left, Miaomiao and Ma Moxi waited for the catopuses to fill their faction's treasury with Dao Stones and PACT.
While they were waiting, a group of cultivators approached them. They were deities from Adam's Eden Garden Planet, who had lost the gas caves and the Mithril Ore Mountain to Miaomiao's system buildings.
"Sir, you took all our cultivation resources. We can't cultivate like this."
"That's right. Lord Mao. We know that you're Mu-Nyang's King Piece, but please don't be too overbearing. Please share some cultivation resources with us since we will need to fight in the front line soon."
Miaomiao smiled at them as he had foreseen this.
"I know. I'll build another permanent beacon in a few minutes. Go somewhere near the eastern Pylon Tower and wait there. When I can shoot another beacon again, I'll fire one toward that tower's direction, and you all will get your reimbursement or new gas caves there."
Hearing that Miaomiao would provide them with a new gas cave, they were relieved. The cultivators respectfully saluted Miaomiao and flew toward the east Pylon Tower.
Miaomiao checked his remaining assets.
…
Dao Stones: 2,735
PACT: 46,180
Building List
Pylon Tower 4
Radar Tower 1
Beacon Outpost 1
Command Center 1
Divine Gas Refinery 2
…
He had enough to build another Beacon Outpost to satisfy the representatives and sentinels of Adam's group.
In addition, the number of Dao Stones and PACT kept increasing as the catopuses transferred the resources to the Command Center nonstop.
While Miaomiao was waiting for the Radar Tower to finish generating another free beacon, a large faceless giant crossed the realm's portal. He flew directly toward Miaomiao and threw six papers at him.
They were 2,000 Dao Stones, PACT bills, and two construction gacha tickets.
Tlaloc glared at Miaomiao as he still remembered the latter's previous deed. He intentionally transformed into a flesh monster with 1,000 eyes.
"Mao Miaomiao."
Miaomiao remembered the voice. He swallowed his saliva, being wary of this Chaos Demon God.
"What can I do for you, senior?"
"I just want to warn you. I'm not your servant, and you can't tell me what to do. But since we're in the same faction, I'll be in charge of finding airdrops from the medium world. Your job is to make the best use of those Dao Stones and free construction tickets! Also, build the Sacrificial Altar as soon as possible! We can't simply wait 10 days when the resources are dropping from the sky! I want you to build it tomorrow!"
"… I'll try my hardest, senior."
Miaomiao wryly smiled while he tried not to provoke Tlaloc.
The Chaos Demon God scoffed at Miaomiao. Then, he glanced at the latter's wives, who had already thrown away their previous dantians and physiques to become Chaos Demon Goddesses.
"Tsk. Our standard has fallen so low. When I was in my prime, those lowly women can't even be considered our successors! What Chaos Demon Goddess? They're all trash."
"…"
Tlaloc transformed back into a faceless giant and crossed the portal again.
After Tlaloc had left, Miaomiao let out a sigh of relief.
'At least, he doesn't randomly attack me or bully me like typical villains. Oh, well. I guess the antagonists and villains in this universe have all died out. It has been peaceful lately… aside from the Mu-Nyang and Pangu's machinations.'
Miaomiao tore the construction gacha tickets right away. He expected additional Pylon Towers since his luck was always bad.
DING
<Your Luck Providence Star has blessed you.>
<Plot Armor, Bitch!>
"Huh?"
<You get a free Sacrificial Altar!>
<You get a free Unnamed Immortal Sect!>
Miaomiao's expression turned into a bad pokerface meme. He was flabbergasted as the rare plot armor finally activated for him.
TWITCH
In addition, Miaomiao's right eyebrow twitched. The good-old danger sensor was also back.
However, it was strange. Samael shouldn't be active anymore. He was not supposed to warn him anything as this war game event was brand new – No other timeline had done this before!
What was the danger that Samael tried to warn him about? How could there be danger?
Miaomiao ignored the warning this time. He flew back to the main city, planning to build the two new buildings.
Suddenly, Miaomiao heard the voice transmission of someone with the same voice as his.
'Idiot clone. Do not build the Sacrificial Altar today!'
"!!!"
Miaomiao looked around and spread his Qi sense, trying to locate the person that had sent a voice transmission to him.
'I'm in your eyebrow, you fool!'
Miaomiao frowned for a moment. Then, he realized who it was.
'Samael?!'
'Yeah, it's me.'
'But I thought you disappeared with your counterpart.'
'That Brocell's creation already merged with my remnant will. I've recovered some of my strength and converted my will into a soul fragment.'
Miaomiao was shocked. This was the first time that he heard that someone could turn their remnant will into a soul fragment. Then, wouldn't Samael upgrade his soul fragment into a completed soul soon?
'You're strong, Samael.'
'But you're stupid.'
'Hey! I was being polite!'
Samael sighed, 'Look, junior. You might have killed so many Heaven Chosen's geniuses and chosen ones, but what you had seen so far was the tip of the iceberg. There will be countless chosen ones out there as long as either Pangu or Mu-Nyang are still alive!'
'And your point is?'
'I'm here to warn you not to overly rely on Mu-Nyang. I have a feeling that Pangu is a few steps ahead of him, and he might have planted several chosen ones among the players.'
'But if that's the case, why aren't you letting me build the Sacrificial Altar?'
'It's too soon. If you build it now, Adam's men will start killing those poor Cathulhus that have been earnestly protecting the portal. You see those guys over there?'
Miaomiao gazed at the groups of Cathulhus and Mir. As Samael had said, they were playing, sunbathing, and eating random things that they had brought with them.
'Listen, Miaomiao. You know that Cathulhus are na?ve. Those nasty cultivators from Eden Garden will definitely turn those cats into sacrificial lambs to increase their cultivation base. We can't have that soon, right?'
Miaomiao gulped and nodded. He agreed with Samael.
'That's why. Do not build the Altar now. Instead, build the sect first and reinforce your wives with it.'
'Say, how did you know that I can reinforce my wives with the sect building?'
'My hunch is sharper than yours. I've been using my excess energy to calculate the future. I can see things that you, Adam, or even Mu-Nyang can't see!'
Miaomiao was astonished. Since when was Samael this powerful?
'I know what you're thinking. But I don't have much energy left. Remember my advice, Miaomiao. Build the sect first and avoid building the altar. If possible, kill every other cultivator that comes with Adam. Sacrifice them to our brothers, Joshua, or those gullible Cathulhus. They are your best allies, not them!'
