Vile Rabbit-Chapter 127: day
Tap! Tap! Tap!
The sound of Apexion tapping his throne rang out inside his domain. It had been over three days since his encounter with the wise one and the hanging tree.
These encounters had been very beneficial to him, especially with the hanging tree.
He gained a lot of key information from it, pertaining to the inner workings of the universe: such as the passage to the inner universe, the passage to the doom realm, a realm of complete war, xenophobes, blood, and gore a realm where all the divine civilizations, species, and pathfinders war endlessly with each other.
Information about how the universe was layered and sectioned.
The universe was basically a colossal bubble; this bubble was divided into ten equal sections, and these sections were called the arch realm domains. Inside these arch realms floated countless smaller realms called the super realm clusters, and just like the arch realms.
inside these super clusters floated countless smaller realms called realm clusters, and inside these realms floated hundreds - thousands, if not hundreds of millions, of realms similar to his realm.
To be honest, from the memories of the damned ones that he had slain, he had already had a faint idea about these things, but now he had gained a more detailed understanding.
He also gained bits of information about the primordial war of the end. This was a war that caused the very universe to fracture into the now ten arch realms; before, it was just a single plane.
A war raged between five unknown incomprehensible entities, whose horrors were beyond comprehension.
"Entities whose true title could never be mentioned." That was what the hanging tree said, in a fearful tone.
But he suspected the entity known as the wise one was most definitely one of these beings, and he also suspected that the divine pathfinder was one of these entities as well.
For reasons he did not know, he just had a feeling that the divine pathmaker was one of, if not the strongest being in existence; that's what his instincts told him, and he had no reason to think otherwise.
And the most terrifying thing was that this war raged across time itself the past, present, and future.
Nowhere or when was spared from its ravages.
The hanging tree said that when he thought all was lost, when he thought that the universe was about to shatter into oblivion, something that he couldn't remember happened something that put an end to the war.
After which, he noticed that the past and future were sealed; he could no longer gaze into the future or past as he wished, and he also noticed that all five entities vanished along with their generals.
And it's to be noted that the hanging tree was also a general, a general under one of the entities, whom he referred to as the weaving mother not the entity's real title, of course but the moment apexion heard the word "weaving," he couldn't help but think of the warning the wise one gave him: "Beware of the weaving bitch." Only the word "bitch" was replaced by "mother," so he wasn't sure, but he put his guard up even more.
He also stated that this mother of weaving was the supreme ruler of all innate ones, the first innate being to be born into existence, a being who embodied the very essence of fate.
Fate. The word had also triggered something inside of him that caused him to think of someone, and it caused him to further believe an assumption that he had made the moment he had stepped into the king rank, the moment he had manifested his law.
As for the reason the hanging tree didn't vanish along with the other generals, he said he didn't know.
As for the ultimate war, he only said that it was the continuation of the war of the end.
He said that it would begin in about ten million years from now. As for how he knew that, he said he just knew.
Also, back then, the average creatures were way stronger than the current ones today, being that the average was born at the third tier, the second tier, the lowest.
All in all, after the discussion, apexion concluded that the universe was just a game a cosmic playing field and those five entities were the players; everything else was just pawns or specks of dust in their game, including him.
'Such an unfortunate reality.'
That he had to live with, being a pawn in someone else's game, but for how long would such a reality last?...
Tap! Ta!
Suddenly, Apexion stopped tapping his throne, and his eyes flashed; after which, shing! A stellar gate appeared before him, and he stood up and calmly stepped inside and vanished.
An instant later, he reappeared in the cold and dark vacuum before a shimmering realm cluster. The realm cluster was gigantic, measuring hundreds of millions of light-years in diameter, its barrier shimmering with countless law inscriptions.
His starry eyes penetrated the realm barrier and gazed into its interior, where he saw five hundred realms floating inside. Suddenly, he frowned and whispered,
"Divine path!"
Yes, divine path. He sensed that each of these realms was completely stained with the presence of the divine path; it was as if every single creature within this realm was walking the divine path.
"But it matters not,"
he retracted his gaze and looked towards his left; his eyes penetrated the vacuum and landed on hundreds of concealed obsidian towers, hundreds of light-years away, hidden in the darkness, and spoke,
"It is time to prove your worth."
His voice instantly bypassed the distance and echoed into the minds of his top minions: Alexandra, Thallo, Iron Tooth, Ava, Eve, and Malavan. They gazed towards him and replied,
"Yes, master," in a calm and firm tone.
After which
Apexion's figure started shimmering as he pulsed with his Apexion law,
After which, his right hand vanished as he punched the realm barrier, and,
Vvvash-crack!
Faint web-like cracks spanning a light-year appeared on the barrier; his eyes shone as he punched once more,
Vvvash-pash!
This time, the barrier shattered like glass, and right at that moment, a terrifying divine aura awakened from within one of the realms,
boom!
After which, the vacuum a few meters before him shattered like glass; and then, an ethereal golden hand holding a giant axe the size of a world, laced with the law of attraction, flashed out from the crack. It slashed the axe towards his head at the speed limit of the universe,
whoosh!
Apexion calmly gazed at the axe closing in on his head, inch by inch, with no reaction whatsoever, and,
Ding!
A ding sound rang out for hundreds of light-years as the axe slammed into his innate barrier. The impact only caused the barrier to flicker once, and nothing more.
Apexion then calmly raised his right index finger towards the blade of the axe and flicked it, ding-pash! The impact from his flick caused the axe fragmented into countless pieces.
"What?"
A voice laced with shock rang out from the crack, and the golden hand instantly paused and started to retract back into the space crack.
"Since you are already here, stay!"
said Apexion in a majestic tone as he calmly reached out and grasped the golden hand, akin to a bird of prey. The size difference didn't matter; he then dragged the hand backward, pulling out a golden creature from the crack.
The creature had a humanoid upper body, with black law runic engravings and shimmering grey eyes, unlike its lower body, which was in the form of thousands of disgusting tentacles.
Before the creature could react, Apexion's left hand vanished as he back-handed the upper body of the creature, and,
whoosh! Splat!
The creature's entire upper body exploded into bloody mist, leaving its lower body, will, and divine core.
Apexion's eyes flashed, and a wooden chest appeared and absorbed the creature's remains.
He then stretched out his right hand and grasped towards the realm; after which,
shing!
The space fluctuated, and a small purple ethereal crystal the size of a planet appeared before him. He gazed at it intensely for a second before waving his hand, and the crystal vanished.
This was one of the two reasons why he was here: to shatter the realm barrier because it was way too hard for his clones, and two, to collect this crystal, which was known as a fate spark, a pure crystallization of fate that can only be found within a realm cluster.
A fate spark has the ability to multiply the quantity of fate a creature produces.
After taking the fate spark, Apexion's eyes flashed, and shing! A stellar gate manifested before him.
He walked into it calmly before leaving a single command as he vanished, heading towards another realm cluster.
"Rid this entire cluster of the divine."
…
A second after he vanished hundreds of obsidian towers appear where he once stood, they pulsed with runic energy as they entered the realm cluster,
Vash!
