Vampire Summoner's Rebirth: Summoning The Vampire Queen At The Start-Chapter 1376: New Vampires
Chapter 1376: New Vampires
-----
"Hey Everstein! Don’t bully her, you know she’s much younger than all of us!" Eleanora said, slapping her tail at a nearby tree.
"O-Oh! O-of course, I apologize, milady..." Everstein muttered nervously. "Would you fancy a cup of tea?"
He manifested a cup and some tea out of nowhere with a weird skill he had.
Indeed, Everstein was also a butler.
Blake’s personal butler, and the one that prepared most things within their spaceship.
Hence why was he such a valuable asset.
Everstein was a man from a race of people known as Majin Devils, from a planet known as "Dark Scar" which was endlessly shrouded in shadows.
The first time he met Asmodeus, he was already an ancient Majin Devil, of over three thousand years of age, he lived an idyllic life in his manor, governing over a small territory, but mostly forgotten by his people.
Of course, things changed when his planet was invaded by Raiders, groups of Space Pirates that attack defenseless planets.
His people was attacked, and although he fought to defend them, he was ultimately overpowered and enslaved alongside them.
While chasing the Raiders with his fleet, Asmodeus came into contact with him, and freed him alongside his people, by turning them all into vampires.
With their new powers, they broke out of their cells and massacred their captors, regaining their freedom, and becoming his new subjects.
Since then, Everstein has dedicated his life to Asmodeus and his Vampire Family, learning everything that he could to make his life easier, cooking, making the perfect blend of tea, cleaning, crafting, fixing, and of course, fighting.
He was the only one that could cook food that the Vampires enjoyed, and also the tea he made simply had a magical blend to it that made them enjoy it as well.
No other person had ever cooked food they could enjoy before, so he was highly valuable, his position in the hierarchy quickly rose, almost becoming Asmodeus’ right-hand man.
However, that position was stolen by Eleanora, and his left-hand man was stolen by Hendrick, so he was delegated to third position.
"It is nice to see you! I hope you could make us some of your delicious tea blends again, Everstein!" Hendrick was quite joyous to see him.
"H-Hendrick?! Wait, you’re here?!" Everstein plan to replace Hendrick’s position fell apart instantly.
"Of course! I was master’s second summon," Hendrick laughed. "What’s wrong? Is it my new spider legs? They do indeed look quite terrifying. Are you afraid of long-legged creatures?"
"N-No... it’s not that... Ah, please don’t mind it, sir," Everstein sighed. "I’ll prepare more tea right away..."
As he served everyone, Everstein gritted his teeth angrily, wishing he could have been summoned earlier!
"..."
Hiromi looked at Blake with a gentle, shy expression.
"Hiromi, do you have something to say?"
"Um..."
Hiromi wanted to say something but nothing much came from her mouth, unfortunately.
"Hmm, well, we can slowly get better at talking, right? I’ll help as much as I can, in my free time."
"A-Ah... t-tha... thanks..."
Blake was unusually nice to her due to her past.
She was the last vampire he ever recruited before fighting Lucifer, and they only spent around ten years together as a family.
However, her powers and her origins might be the most unusual compared to everyone else among his vampires.
Hiromi was found inside an abandoned planet.
It was in his last years of looking for resources, preparing for the final battle against the demons, where Asmodeus found her with his vampire family.
When he was exploring an Abandoned Planet without name, with countless ruins of an ancient civilization that built very tall skyscrapers.
She was the only life signal he felt after scanning the entire planet with his Aura.
While he left most of his family mining for the rich resources in this abandoned planet’s mountains and ruins, he reached her.
She was deep within some ancient ruins, a laboratory of sorts, inside a small room, sleeping while surrounded by old packets of instant food.
They were too old though; whatever food she had had run out already.
And yet, even though her entire race had died, and even though she’s been confined down there, and even when she had no food for... perhaps thousands of years, tens of thousands of years, maybe even hundreds of thousands of years...
That girl was there, alive. Sleeping, saving energies, perhaps until the planet itself was destroyed in some cataclysmic event such as meteor crash or the star this planet orbited imploding into a super nova.
This girl, with bloodstained tattoos around her arms, a high school uniform of black and red, and an horn in her forehead...
With deep red eyes and long black hair, it was both mysterious and intriguing.
At the confines of the universe, this sole girl had survived it all.
A true survivor, and someone worthy of becoming his vampire. fгeewёbnoѵel_cσm
Back then the girl was dying, lacking nutrients, she survived only by sleeping and wasting no energies.
Her skin was dry, and she was dying slowly.
To help her, he bit her neck, and granted her eternal life, youth, and strength.
When the girl opened her eyes, gasping, the first thing she did was roar and attack him.
Of course, Asmodeus easily intercepted her and fought back, putting her down in a few seconds...
"You’re the last of your kind, I’ve given you a second chance to live for all those you’ve lost. Tell me your name, and I will bring you along, child."
"A-Ah... Uuh... Hi... Hiromi..."
Despite her rough attitude, she ended up saying her name right away, as Asmodeus back then nodded.
"Then let’s go together, Hiromi. Or do you want to stay here and rot with your planet?"
"..."
The girl blushed, as she shyly approached her hand towards Asmodeus’.
"Do you remember anything of your past?"
"Huh?"
Hiromi didn’t remember anything, tilting her head in confusion.
Wherever she came from, what was her future ahead...
Everything was not known to her.
