Jaehyun’s POV

It’s been two weeks since my omega returned to me and I left the warehouse, but I still haven’t gotten used to it.

All through the day, I make sure Yujun stays in bed, that Haeri gets all the attention she needs and I control my lust for the beautiful mother of my pup...ever since he started breastfeeding, the wires in my brain have stopped working the way they should.

After that, then I meet and reexplain my ’death’ to the pack members that we trust to keep it secret...father’s plot can’t fully start till we are sure that Yujun is strong enough.

And on most nights, I jolt awake covered in sweat and feeling the heat from a flame that is only from my mind burning my skin.

Tonight, when I sit up from a bad dream, I find Yujun staring at me.

The omega’s brows are pinched together in worry, and I turn the other way to avoid looking at him, the last thing I want is to make him worry about me when he’s still healing.

"I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you" I say and let out a hard breath.

Sweat is already sliding down my skin, and my eyes are still blurry from just waking up, I’m sure it’s still early hours, midnight even.

"Look at me, Jaehyun-ah" he says and I turn to look at him, "I’m okay, it was just a bad dream" I say, laughing softly for good measure, maybe it will ease him up, but he doesn’t laugh.

"Two weeks of ’just a bad dream’ is not just a bad dream, what happened?" he says sternly and I groan, of course he knew all along, this is just what I have been trying to avoid.

"It’s just what that fucker did, he fucked with my mind" I say grudgingly and Yujun reaches his hand for me, he pulls me to his chest and I rest on him, careful to not hurt his swollen chest.

"What did he do?" Yujun asks, threading his fingers through my hair gently.

"He took me back to Seoha’s fire, the memory...he had me trapped for so long" I say and he sighs, "why do we have the most psychotic people coming after us?" Yujun asks and I almost laugh.

"I wish I knew" I murmur and my eyes start to grow heavy, his hand on my hair feels so soft and the scent of him...

I groan softly and squeeze my eyes shut.

"Let’s go back to sleep, we have a few minute before lord Haeri decides to run the day" Yujun yawns, moving his chest upwards just enough for the smell of his milk to tease my nose.

What fresh hell is this?

"Let’s dream about beautiful things, like how you will find a way to start baby proofing this place and how to get toys that can withstand her strength..."

Why does it smell so good? My mouth is watering.

"Fuck" I say out loud and Yujun pauses.

"What is wrong?" the omega asks and I shake my head, this man has single handedly killed the effect of my nightmare just by...existing.

"I need a shower, I mean- I want- I mean" I stutter and roll out of the bed, landing on the floor, I am already hard and straining in my pants, the power he has over me is insane.

"We can shower together" Yujun says and I blink, picturing him naked under the shower, wet hair, wet curves, small breast beading milk that I shouldn’t crave.

"No!" I say and run out of the room, leaving behind a confused omega.

I let out a hard breath as I walk down the hall, feeling the cooling breeze on my bare skin, the home is silent, which means even Haeri is asleep.

Our little girl never lacks people to check in on her, it gives Yujun time to recover and gives me time to keep practicing control over madness.

"Are you okay?" I ask quietly, hiding my erection as best as I can and he looks up at me with round brown eyes.

"Yes? No? I don’t know" the small man says and I tilt my head.

"Would you like to speak to the Luna, I suck at giving advices" I say and his eyes get impossibly rounder, "no! no! not the luna" he says and gets up, wiping at his face.

"Ah...it’s about JIsung hyung" I say and he sniffles at the mention of the man.

"What happened?" I ask softly.

"He doesn’t want to be with me anymore" he says and bows his head low, "it wasn’t supposed to be this way, I shouldn’t have fallen in love with him but now he knows and- and he doesn’t want that...I don’t even know why I’m telling you all that" he says and I blink helplessly.

I don’t know what to say to him...what am I supposed to say?

"Er...I’m sorry about that" I say with a stutter and he looks at me, "you don’t have to be sorry about anything, I guess I’m not good enough"

"What? No! don’t say that, you’re adorable and smart and loyal to the family, Jisung hyung is just a grade A asshole" I say and the beta chuckles, "he’s a sweet man" he says.

"Huh-uh" I say and immediately smell the milk I had been running from, "Haeri’s mom is right behind us" he says.

"Fuck" I mutter and the beta’s eyes shine with amusement...Jisung hyung has a type I see, I can’t wait to give him shit about it.

"When you’re done ’showering’, come back to me, fool" Yujun says from behind me and a slipper hits my head.

"Jun- good night Seohwa-ssi!" I say to the man and run after my mate.

Yujun gets into the room and slams the door behind me, I wince at the loud noise, praying to the moon goddess once before getting into the room.

Cheers to life, I just annoyed a new mom, and I still have a hardon twitching in my pants.
