Jaehyun’s POV

"It’s time to stop" I say harshly, my breathing getting louder as I say the words.

I open my mouth to say them again when I feel it.

The edge of my vision goes dark and blurry as I feel a sting in my neck while staring at my mother’s face.

He looks...horrified? Of me?

Fuck.

"Hurry!" A voice shouts.

They want to fucking sedate me.

"FUCKERS" I roar and reach behind me to pull out the needle sticking out of my neck, I growl and throw it to the floor.

I need to get something done.

I need to show those bastards who owns this place.

Moving fast, I pick up a gun from one of the fallen men and run for the gate.

"OPEN THE FUCKING GATE" I yell.

"Jaehyun!" My mother’s voice calls from behind me but I don’t stop till I am past the gate with the gun in hand.

There are a number of Chois trying to get into the car in a hurry, so I start with them, I aim for the first one.

"Arghh" he screams out as the bullet pierces his left eye and bends over with blood gushing out.

The other are thrown into panic, starting to push for who will get into the car first.

With my eyes red I move faster and put a bullet through another’s throat.

One of them pulls out his gun and shoots at me, the bullet hits my left arm and the world stops.

They keep running around like headless chickens, shooting at me but missing.

Untrained fools.

I look at my arm, watching the way blood seeps through my clothes, the blood gushing out is copious but I feel no pain.

’All of them’ my alpha says.

’Take out all of them’ he adds and I bare my teeth, giving them a smile as the red and black dances in front of my eyes.

Mixing and separating.

Growing and contracting.

Within seconds, six men lay on the floor in a pool of their own blood and bits of their entrails around them.

"JAEHYUN!" A familiar voice calls but I don’t look back, I can’t, I have given in.

The madness is sweetness on my tongue.

I move for the next car.

The driver of the car’s hands are shaking as his passengers scream and yell for him to drive.

"He’s mad! He’s mad!" They scream.

It is different men speaking at once but I hear the voices as one as I take steps closer to them.

I’m not rushing.

I’m not in a hurry.

I will savour every moment and the moments after this.

Another sting at the back of my neck forces me to look back, it’s mother this time, he’s holding the tranquilizer gun.

I roar at him and his eyes flash blue, challenging me.

"Don’t stand in my way" I say roughly and he puts the gun down.

"Come back to me" he says and I refuse.

I have debts to collect...debts of lives.

"Come back to me, we will get Yujun together if we are in control" he says to me.

He thinks his movements are subtle but I see him loading the gun again.

"I’m not going for Yujun. I give up" I say and my body falls to the floor with a thud as the darkness swallows me up.

I give in to madness.

I give up on Yujun.

Yujun’s POV

There’s a note in the bag to wash myself with the things the woman had brought with her.

Pulling the bottles out, I read the labels one by one but still don’t get it, they only make me feel more like a tool.

The bottles say things that I don’t really understand how to use, but Yunah explained them to me and stayed outside.

Moving slowly, I fill the bathtub with water before putting in the bath bomb recommended by my sister to use first.

I watch it fizzle in the water and the smell fills the bathroom slowly.

It smells nice...like beautiful roses.

It is really pretty and sweet but not like me, it is far from what I smell like...I guess my scent is that hated still.

’Alpha loves our scent’ my omega whines softly inside me and I sigh as I climb into the bath

The water splashes around as I soak in the tub and my whole body relaxes. With the water surrounding me, I close my eyes and let out a breath.

With my closed eyes, my hearing amplifies and I listen as the conversations from outside bleeds in.

"The boy is a wild beast"

"No one should see the way he tore the batch D members apart"

"It all happened within a second, fuck, I thought I would be next"

"Truly mad dog"

Mad dog?

My eyes snap open instantly.

My Jaehyun?

I sit up in the tub and I shiver with excitement, Yeon didn’t let me see him but they did.

Which means...in no time Jaehyun would come for me right? 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

I run my fingers through my hair as my heart pounds with anticipation.

Jaehyun will come for me soon.

For the first time, I am looking forward to his coming to save me and nothing else matters at this moment.

My stomach flutters and I look down at it, reminded of whatever sickness I have going on, I place my hand on my lower belly to ease the fluttering.

’Alpha is not coming yet’ my omega says softly.

’That’s right, he was in pre-rut two days ago’ I remind myself.

If he goes into rut anytime soon, hopefully tomorrow, then he should be done in three days’ time.

And I know by then he will definitely come for me.

"Oppa?" Yunah calls from outside the door and I respond with a loud hum.

"Are you alright in there?" She asks.

"Yes, Baby, Jaehyun is going to come for us and this time...I won’t run from him" I call back.

I mean it.

It’s time to give up on my clan and give in to love.
