Urban Super Soldier King-Chapter 1869 - 1970: The Starting Point of Grand Ambitions
"Jieke, stop right there," Xi’er shouted from behind.
Jieke ran far ahead and waited, panting heavily. Seeing his sister catching up, he complained, "Sis, do you also think they’re scammers?"
Xi’er shook her head and said, "Jieke, whether they’re scammers or not, we can’t place our hopes on others. This is our home. Besides, I’ve been chosen as their leader. If I make a wrong move, it could lead to a big mistake."
Xi’er spoke seriously, treating Jieke like an adult instead of her usual lecturing tone.
Jieke wasn’t a child either; he understood the responsibility his sister carried and knew his previous words were just out of frustration.
"Sis, I know. I’m just annoyed they treat me like a kid," Jieke said casually as he tossed small stones.
Seeing Jieke acknowledge his mistake, Xi’er smiled and sat beside him. "Alright, our Jieke has grown up. You have to help me build this place up."
"Yeah," Jieke nodded vigorously, "Sis, don’t worry. I’ll definitely turn this into a prosperous city."
Xi’er nodded with relief, patting Jieke’s shoulder, "All right, let’s work hard together."
Xiang Yu and Xiaoxuan casually strolled down the street after coming out from Danyer’s place.
"Call them. We need to discuss something," Xiang Yu said.
Xiaoxuan nodded and called Tie Zhuzi.
At this moment, Tie Zhuzi was lying in bed with a woman in his arms. Hearing the phone ring, he quickly picked it up. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"Call Eck and the others to come over. We have something to discuss," Xiaoxuan said bluntly.
"Where are you guys?" Tie Zhuzi asked.
"We found an empty building in the south. Come over here," Xiaoxuan said.
After hanging up, Tie Zhuzi quickly called Eck.
The woman beside him hugged his arm with reluctance, her face full of delight.
"Can’t bear to let me go?" Tie Zhuzi pinched her cheek.
The woman quickly nodded. She had never experienced such treatment before.
"Wait for me. I’ll come back for you after finishing work," Tie Zhuzi chuckled and put on his shoes before leaving.
Eck was not far away. After they met up, they gathered the others and headed to the place Xiaoxuan mentioned.
The southern part of the city was even more desolate than other places, with several bombed-out buildings, and not many people were willing to live there.
At that time, Xiang Yu and Xiaoxuan were standing inside a nearly destroyed building.
"Brother Yu is definitely in this building," Tie Zhuzi said from below.
Eck and the others looked around, puzzled. "No way, why choose such a place?"
At that moment, Xiaoxuan stood by the window, or rather where the window used to be.
"Come on up," Xiaoxuan called out when he saw them.
Tie Zhuzi rushed up to find it very empty, without any furniture except the building itself.
Seems like everything here was looted.
"This place would be great for some outdoor fun with a few women," Tie Zhuzi laughed out loud.
Eck, puzzled, came in and saw Xiang Yu sitting on a brick in the distance, quickly walking over. "Brother Yu, why choose such a place?"
"It’s quiet," Xiang Yu smiled and stood up. "Called you all over to discuss something."
"Is it about the day after tomorrow with Black Sha?" Eck asked eagerly.
Xiang Yu nodded. "The day after tomorrow is the showdown between Red Sha and Black Sha. It’s bound to be intense."
Tie Zhuzi rubbed his hands with excitement. "I can’t wait. Give me a big iron rod, and I’ll take out a few of them."
Xiang Yu patted Tie Zhuzi’s shoulder with a smile. "We won’t act that day. We’ll wait until they both lose and then step in."
"Reaping the benefits?" Tie Zhuzi asked further.
Eck came over, appreciatively patting Tie Zhuzi’s shoulder. "Not bad, Zhuzi, didn’t expect you to use such words."
"That’s right. Enjoy yourselves today and tomorrow, but don’t go overboard. Stay safe. The day after tomorrow, follow my arrangements, and we’ll take over this place in one fell swoop," Xiang Yu said, glancing at the others.
Xiaoxuan looked indifferent, as if he didn’t care or completely trusted Xiang Yu.
Tie Zhuzi was excitedly rubbing his hands, eager to act.
Aier and the others seemed skeptical. They hadn’t been here long and didn’t know much about the place.
More importantly, there were already two forces here, Red Sha and Black Sha, not something easily taken over.
"Do you have any plans?" Eck asked Xiang Yu doubtfully.
"No specific plans, we’ll adapt as necessary," Xiang Yu said.
Seeing Xiang Yu’s confidence, Eck could only nod.
After coming here, like Tie Zhuzi, he enjoyed himself a bit first, naturally unaware of the details here.
Although Xiang Yu had no concrete plans, he had grasped the forces of Red Sha and Black Sha and had some idea about a third underground force.
They discussed various possible scenarios.
Finally, Xiang Yu said, "Everyone, prepare yourselves. We’ll meet here the morning after tomorrow."
Tie Zhuzi nodded excitedly and turned to leave. He wanted to find a big iron rod, hoping it would come in handy.
Eck and the others also turned and left.
"Do you think this plan is reliable?" one of them asked Eck.
They all followed Xiang Yu here, thinking they could escape COM, recruit more people, and strengthen their force, only to end up in this desolate place.
Eck didn’t respond. He sat downstairs, lost in thought.
"If it doesn’t work out, we can leave, no need to follow them. I think Xiang Yu just talks big," another said.
"Shut up," Eck quickly said. "Let’s see how it goes the day after tomorrow."
Eck had his own plans. Everything depended on the day after tomorrow. If Xiang Yu’s plan succeeded, he would commit to following him.
If Xiang Yu’s plan failed, he planned to take his brothers and leave, find a better organization to join, instead of struggling in the slums like now.
Upstairs, Xiaoxuan stood by the window. "Brother, Eck and the others seem not to trust us," he said.
Xiang Yu smiled, unfazed. It wasn’t surprising they didn’t fully trust entrusting their fate to an outsider.
Xiang Yu had his goal. He aimed to conquer this place first, using it as the launch point for all his ambitions...
